Usage and assembly

Had this press for about 2 months and it works great.
The brand hat press
The brand hat press works just like I hoped it would. I have used Hydbond patches with it and I don't think they will ever come off. I can't think of any way this could be improved.

Easy to use. Easy to set up. Does a great job. Once you learn how to set time and temperature you'll be elated with this machine.
Great press for the price
There was a slight learing curve which was more operator error than anything else. The press did come with some damage to the base, which was easily corrected with a hammer.

We had to replace our ancient hat press. We have had good luck with the brand's products so that is where we went first. It took a bit to learn the settings but once set, they are set. We use it more to press DTF neck tags more than hats. It has worked well for both. I love that I press the button and walk away. It is automatic and drops then releases automatically. Very sturdy. Has three press plates for different size hats.

Excellent product in terms of control, it irons great, but the motor breaks down soon. The gears of the electric motor transmission are destroyed by use. It lasts about 500 ironings. When our first one broke, we tried not to use the second one so often, but the same problem still occurred.
Great Little Heat Press Setup
This one surprised me. The interchangeable plates make it super versatile and perfect for smaller jobs. Heats up quick and the automatic release is a nice touch so you’re not babysitting it the whole time. It’s easy to use and does exactly what it’s supposed to. If you’re doing hats, smaller designs, or just want something compact in the shop, this is a solid option.

I have made many hats on this press and it has worked great the only thing I would say is that it only heats from one side and also the adjustment knob on the front feels very cheap but other than that it is a great little machine I would recommend it to anyone

WORKS PERFECT. A MUST HAVE!!!
We have used this for over a year and have done 200+ hats including DTF Transfers and patches. A great starting or a backup press. a must buy for any hobbyist or small business. only downfall is you can not adjust the pressure.

Creases
I have an older the brand hat press and I thought the newer the brand hat press by now would’ve come with a better solution for hat pressing. every hat gets a crease. I would have thought by now they would have made a pad underneath to eliminate the creases. I never get a good press without adding something else under the hat then it doesn’t get enough pressure and it’s just not a consistent press on any hat press and it’s very discouraging. I should have saved my money and not bought this.

Not what I Expected
Bought this as I have a manual press and thought this would be great. This design leaves creases in your hat. Also, when I unpackaged the unit the plugs were loose and the display flickered. Hoping this doesn't continue. Save your money on this one.

Hat Press Surprise
Our old basic hat press would not press a hat without creasing them. After watching the videos and studying options, we decided to go with this less expensive auto press from the brand. What a great surprise. The quality is much better than expected and it has proven to be easy to use, a time saver, and our hats are the best ones to date. It only took 120 hats to pay for it, and we are well past that now. Turned out to be a great decision and investment. We highly recommend this product.

Product was great until it broke down. No problem if I had somewhere to buy spare parts to replace the failed part but there's nowhere to order spare parts. So how do I maintain this machine? Also, a maintenance manual wouldn't hurt either.

Only turn on twice
I was so excited about this and was ready to put it to work the day I got it. It turned on once. I tried 1 screen prritn transfer and the center of it didn't adhere like the sides of it. I watched reviews and intended to add a towel on top to make the pressure more equalized. The next day when I tried to turn it on it acted like it didn't have power. I made sure all the connections were tight, checked the outlet was working but nothing. The brand sent me a video on how to replace the mother board...which I didn't even have. I also couldn't get fully inside it the way the video showed to even try and wiggle all cable connections inside the box. Communication has been now over a week. I can't box it up bc the arm is in the raised position and there is no way to release it to lower it for packaging. I havn wasted valuable time on this machine trying to make it work. I was hoping for this to be a welcomed addition to my business but instead it has cost me both time and money. No photo needed bc there is no power and I can't show anything but it in the raised position. I can't give anything a score over 1 stars. If I could give no stars I would based on my experience.

This is my first hat press and it was incredibly easy to use. Set up was simple out of the box. Shipping was quick and it was a great price. I also like the auto shut off feather if it hasn't been used .
Hat Heat Press
This hat heat press is very sturdy. We'll made with metal and not plastic for the main components. The dial and display are easy to use once you figure it out. Reading the actual instructions does help but.i did not do that till after some use. The heat press works great and 10 minutes after opening the box I was making hats. I would recommend this press to anyone trying to get into the hobby and after making 25 hats back to back it worked great from start to finish. Looking forward to more production out of the unit in the near future.

Wish it had a cheat card with some basic settings for different hats. Maybe some better instructions and replacement parts!
Efficient and great price
This press has put out over 2000 hats for me in less than a year and still going strong. I do pad the platen a little for ball caps, but you can't beat the price for this quality.
