Sturdy, classy looking parasol base

Initial unit was poor quality, Replacement immediately sent!
Received the first unit and the box was in a poor state, opening up I found the Marble chipped, the handle pulled straight out, the wheels didn't rotate and all the fitting were rusty. I contacted ESSENZA with photos and they immediately sent a replacement. This one was far better. Once assembled this is a solid and heavy unit - ideal for free standing larger parasols. The wheeled base makes it easy to move around a flat patio, but the handling is a weak point, on both units the fixings pull out of the marble. So OK for lifting at 90 degrees to the fixing, but not at an angle or to pull the base around on the wheels. A decent epoxy might help. To minimise wobble the fixing bolt for the umbrella holder needs to be far tighter then the cheap included spanner can accommodate. This also reduces potential flexing of the main spot-welds. My only concern is that the bolt might pull through the marble in time - a larger washer would help avoid this. In short once you get a good one, it looks good, supports large umbrellas well, is heavy (just what you need) and if careful with the handle , is quite easy to move around. I also cannot fault ESSENZAs service. I had a problem and they fixed it…

Heavy parasol base
I have just received the base, so not used it yet. But it’s really sturdy and heavy so it’s not going to topple over with a umbrella in. I was really pleased with the service from Essenza, I ordered two by mistake and messaged them to cancel one. It was sorted out promptly and the chat email was very helpful .

Good product. Easy to assemble, supplied with various sleeves for different diameter poles. Stable with 3mtr parasol. Easy to move. Good support from customer service team on minor delivery issue.
Problem solved
I ordered this base and was delighted it arrived in time for the recent warm spell. It is a good weight and relatively easy to move about. . I now use a strong hook to avoid getting my fingers caught on the metal ahndle
Don't use this company
Ended up receiving 2 of the same item and paying for both of them. Whilst ordering on their website they told me I clicked order 6 times but 2 orders were placed when I wanted only 1. Thank god all 6 didn't go through. Obviously website had issues with ordering process freezing on me many times. Refuse to refund me. Plus item was chipped. Very bad customer service.
