This kit is awesome. It comes with a wide variety of taps and does including NPT. I’ve used them several times around the garage and the case it nice and allows you to easily find what you are looking for.

this is the 3rd set of 116 piece tap & dies I have purchased because the brand has put together great quality & excellent prices that I bought my son in-law. actually I gave him my set so he could finish his stainless steal deck hand rail.Then my son saw the second set, and I realized he needed set to carry in his race trailer for he races A Dirttrack USRA B-Mod 2&3 times a week & he can be hard on parts! I Actually told him we can fix what he breaks but first ya GOT- TO FINISH! he s been winning more than I ever could!! He s putting me to shame!! That's OK. At least he s got great tools to speed up any repairs from the brand!! THANK-YOU-ALL,!!

It was missing one of the taps.. The taps and dies are not sequenced. Metric and Standard are all mixed together. Hard to find the correct taps and dies quickly

I still can't believe that I got so many taps and dies in this kit, metric and standard at an incredible price. I'm not a machinist and use these everyday but when I need to fix something, this is my goto kit because it has just about any size tap and die that I need.

Disappointed with my tap and die set

I received the tap and die set within the promised delivery timeframe and it arrived complete and undamaged. That’s where the good part stops. I had to use the m10 tap to cut a thread into a piece of steel. I drill an 8.5mm hole as required for an M10 tap and I used the handle that you secure the tap into. Before I had finished the tapping process the handle snapped. I was only tapping a thread into a 5mm pice of aluminium. I have had to go out and purchase a new handle to be able to continue using the taps. I was really disappointed as I was optometrist that this was going to be a really good set. I’m fortunately this was not the case.

Poor Quality Tap and Die set.

I am very disappointed in the lack of quality in this tap and die set because they are not sharp enough to actually cut threads and don’t produce any shavings. The set I recieved a few weeks ago appears to have missed the hardening and sharpening process or is representative of all of them. I was happy enough with the magnetic drill I first bought from the brand, the 4 jaw lathe chuck came minus the spindle mounting backing plate and cost me hours of work and time buying a steel billet and machining to make one.due to my mixed experience I find it very difficult to recommend the brand's products unless endorsed by true professional tradesmen.

To be honest, I wasn't that impressed with the quality of the steel used. It seems very soft and the first few turns of the tap, almost rounds off the tool.

The threading taps are not ground deeply enough. And the threading dies aren't ground correctly. I tried cutting into brass, but it didn't work.

Wish I had this set back in the 70's when I was repairing VWs and Honda motorcycles. Complete set of all metric sizes and threads. No more buying $12 taps each and wasting time running around to find a place that has the right one.

Not Worth the Money

This item is not worth the money, don't buy their description of high-grade HRC55-62 hardened bearing steel, effortlessly handling heavy loads and high pressures, I tried to cut some threads on 3/16" rod and it would not cut them. I had used a tap & die set from Harbor Freight to cut the same size threads on the same rod about 2 months ago and it worked way better than this set from the brand. I should have borrowed that die set again instead of buying my own

Not impressed at all

Ive bought several tools from the brand over the last 3 years or so almost all of them have done exactly what i bought them for....the tap and die set not so much. First tap i used snapped off 3rd turn trying to cut threads into mild steel and took an hour to get it out. Tryed to use several die and they dont even clean up the threads already there. Completely destroyed a wheel stud trying to clean threads up. Will definately not buy again.

For the money, you can't beat it. I've used two of the dies, and they worked perfectly. They dont lock into the handle as well as I'd like, but as long as you're careful not to drop your die, you'll be ok. I've also used one of the taps, and no issues at all. Thumbs up.

I have only used some of the the die not the tap but they have been very bad, I was going to thread an M14x1.25 in tha lathe today but it wouldn't cut, It doesn't even work well to just clean the threads of an existing screw, It is just as hard to screw the die on as it is to unscrew, just as if it doesn't cut

This is a very nice tap and die set, and it appears to be high quality. I've only used it to thread one bolt thus far so I can't speak to every die or tap, but the ones I've used have been great.

I brought this set to excange the set I brought cheap here in Norway. But this seem Even cheaper. The holders for the bits are sad and flimsy and will probably brake fast...

The set has a complete range of sizes. It's well labeled and the case is strong and compact. The material quality is excellent. When I need to clean up an old bolt, nut or fitting on my car, it's great to know I have the tool(s) I need! And the price can't be beat.

The quality of the taps looks good, and now I have taps for almost any threads! The quality of the plastic case is actually pretty bad. The locks is not tight, so I would not trust them. There were also one taps loose inside the case when I opened it. It cannot click back on its case. Would rather pay some more for better quality on the case.

I couldn’t be happier. It has every size I’ve needed so far, both metric and SAE, which saves me from running to the store mid-project. The tools feel solid, not cheap or flimsy, and they cut clean threads without stripping or binding up. The case keeps everything organized so I’m not digging around for the right piece. For the price, this is one of the most useful sets I’ve added to the shop. Highly recommend if you want a reliable all-in-one set that actually works.

Great inexpensive set

I did not need this whole kit but by the time you go locally and buy just what you need it’s the same price as the whole set. I got the set to tap holes into the inside of the bed of my pick up to install 4 bed anchors so I tapped a total of 16 holes with the same tap. Worked perfectly and the tap is strong unlike what I had picked up the auto parts store that broke 1st attempt. Make sure you use proper lubricant and add it often while tapping. This set worked great.

This set got me out of a big jam, and held up with removing 14 stripped, large brass screws. Nothing I did before worked, not heat, not wd40, nothing. It also fits PEFECTLY in the Milwaukke Packout tool boxes!
