Curtains suit the living room, bedroom, kitchen and other areas of the home where you want to soften the light or screen the interior. Lightweight fabrics such as voile and lace let daylight in and create a delicate feel. More opaque styles help reduce brightness and make the space more comfortable.

Before choosing, measure the window width and the height from the fixing point to where you want the fabric to finish. Also check the hanging style, such as eyelets, rod pockets or ties. Choose a colour that works with the light and the other textiles in the room. For easy care, always follow the washing instructions shown on the item and keep curtains and poles securely fitted, especially in homes with children.
