Makes the job much easier!

I have yet to use this on actual logs but funny enough it has been a lifesaver (or back saver) to help us lift up railroad ties up enough so our digger could grab them. I am a old lady weakling but i could use this tool to flip that super heavy timber right up into position. It worked so great and made the job super easy!!! It is really heavy duty. I am pleased with this purchase and definitely recommend.

This thing will save your chain! No worries about running your saw in the ground when used properly. Wish I had had one of these years ago!

Won't bend

Very strong and well built. I use it both in the woods cutting trees and around the saw mill to roll logs into place. Very satisfied!

Made out of steel

I bought a log lifter, but it's works good it a big help, but I think it's wobbly, like the feet are too short, maybe longer feet because it falls over a lot.

Overall, the build quality is good and it feels solid and well made. The joint is a little sloppy and has a small amount of play, but it doesn't appear to affect its performance. Despite that minor issue, it works well, operates smoothly, and performs as expected.

leighgweight as awoodturner i mounted the handle in the Late and turned the end off the handle with a klot to fit my hand the peg in the front functions well for sticking in the ground when not in use .

Works well. Able to move large logs 20 inches diameter x 14 feet long with ease.

this is a very handy piece of equipment. I have used it to move logs over 2 feet in diameter as well as getting smaller logs up off the ground to help make the job easier. Overall I am very happy with my purchase with both the product and price. One last warning, the spikes on this are sharp and I managed to get myself with it as I was walking past it while using it. The 2 inch cut it produced on my arm was quite painful. 4 weeks later it has nearly healed. My fault, not the equipment.

This is the second one i have commented on, the design is excellent, the materials used for construction is/was poor and the brand have not accepted this is the case, nor has the brand offered any compensation. With this in mind, i would be doubtful if i purchased through the brand into the future. I have sent a photo to you, although not acknowledged by the brand.

While i was happy with the design, the materials were/are of very poor quality, the cross bar, bent out of position on its second lift. The feet lost 3 of its 4 end plugs within 20 minutes. I have had to replace the cross bar, strenghtening it by welding a top plate. The bottom feet will also have to be replaced with stronger box section steel and braced to avoid similar problems into the future..

what a great piece of kit. I have been using this now for a few weeks and have found it to be invaluable. I was able to roll logs of about 2 feet diameter, sometimes easily and sometimes struggling but it still rolled. I am absolutely wrapped with this.

Great for lifting logs up to get a choker on for skidding. If tge log is too wide and you find that once it's been tilted back onto the legs it begins to tip forward, just put your foot on the rear leg to hold it down until you're done rigging. Whatever you do, DON'T let it roll forward without holding the bar! You could get slammed in the head by a heavy, fast moving steel bar! Thus, knocking one on his azs and seeing stars during the day. Just saying. P.S. A little loktite on the threads of the bar(it comes in 2 pieces) will prevent it from wobbling if it gets unscrewed a little.

Works well for small logs 3 stars Would have been 5stars but….. Large log bent the support foot. Needs a welded gusset to provide strength. I am able to weld to make it stronger.

This thing has been a huge help with sawing big logs on the dirt. I’ve rolled up logs as big as 32” up off the dirt and gave me clean passes with the saw without having to worry about the chain getting in the dirt even a little. Very much worth the money!

ease of use and useful to ease work

In the past I would roll logs by hand on your portable sawmill. A cant hook looked like it would be helpful. And indeed it was. I should have gotten this before I got my mill. It works great.

Good tool

I wish I had one of these years ago . It seems very solid and it really helps . No risk of a chain hitting dirt. Makes moving a log easy . The pickaroon is decent . For the amount of wood we play with it is worth the expense.

This works great at saving your back and your saw as long as you have the perfect setup. Meaning, flat ground, 8 ft log, not too big or too small. Otherwise it doesn’t work at holding the log so you can cut it

Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the quality of this item. I will say the connector for the two pipes is loose and does feel a little bit cheap. The thickness of the material is cheap so I don't think you will be able to lift any types of logs or trees over a foot or more in diameter, but I feel like it will definitely get the job done just to lift it off the ground to cut it into smaller logs.

Good For the Money

I paid less than half for this that I would have for a brand name one. I use it daily, and it does just what it should. I have turned some long18-22 inch logs with ease. It may not last forever, but it was only 40 bucks.
