Just as promised. Have serviced two cars now, with the brand gauge set, recovery bottle and recovery machine. Bought a used Fieldpiece gauge before, it is great. With this kit and 2 sets of hoses, ball valves and vacuum pump it is a time consumpting but pleasurable way to do the same thing as automated machines around 3000-5000 USD but manually at 1/4 of the cost. After 5 services I have paid back all of the gear.

At first it looks complicated , but it works very logially. I recommend using additional se of gauges to get correct pressure readings. Don't forget to get an oil refill kit. (if you dont have one allready). You may need additional vacuum pump to support high vacuum level.

I've got my Refrigerant recovery machine. Delivery: in time, Packing: Good and safe, Accerories: surprise for me, I didn"t know that I will get a filter dryer and a connecting pipe too, so now I am happy more, Machine works relatively quietly, (before I had two other old machines with terrible noise but this machine is so good, I tried recover all GAS and Liqued refrigerant, and can be seen that Machine well done. It can also pressurize vehicle's AC system
I found out the hard way that newer vehicles (a 2017 Hyundai Tucson I was working on and a 2020 Mercedes SUV) requires a full amount of refrigerant before allowing the compressor to turn on. So that means the cheap way to recharge an empty AC system is impossible with just cans and a set of gauges. This machine is a great alternative to the 10x-50x more costly fully automatic machine that most repair shops have. All you need is to reverse this machine's input and output accordingly and make sure to only pressurize the high side port while the car is off and measure the refrigerant weight in ounces. You can bleed the air out the line while this machine is off when the dial is turned to the low so as long as you use it right it is just as useful as the far more expensive alternative. Only problem for me is that I had to buy a few different adapters to connect to my set of gauges. Luckily I had a couple different adapter assortment packs on hand while setting it up.

Pour récupérer les gaz, j'ai eu peur car la machine à commencé a trembler assez fort et cela m'a fait peur. Sa tremblait vraiment fort. Jai laisser faire et auvuns soucis. J'ai récupérer 3.8 kg de gaz en 20 min (procédure complète). Je met 4 étoiles car je pense qu'avec autant de vibration, il y aura des pannes plus vite ( c'est mon avis). Mais pour commencer c'est le top
