A big time time saver tool

This tool really helped me out on my car project. I needed to crimp the hoses for the A/C in my car and this tool worked really well. It is great quality an there are features that helped alot. The ease of useage was excellent and it came with a nice case to hold the tools.I am extremely pleased and happy that I purchased it. Shipping was fast and the price was great.

This crimping tool works great.

This crimping tool works very well. I like that it mounts in my bench vise. It makes a perfect crimp on the A/C hoses I'm making for my 54 Buick. To have them made at a hose shop would have cost about twice what I paid for the tool. It came with #6,#8,#10, and #12 dies. The instructions are a little vague, however the tool is pretty intuitive so all you need is the distance between the jaws for a good crimp. I would recommend this to anyone adding air-conditioning to there classic car.

I’m really hoping this works! And why shouldn’t it? I made a couple small hoses up and don’t see any problems at all. Now we can cut and splice on the machines in the field on the farm!

I bought this to install aftermarket and custom air conditioning in vehicles that were not manufactured with it. So far, all of my crimped fittings are leak free after thousands of miles of use. Thanks again, the brand!

Affordable way to make a/c hoses

Worked great on all but the largest size hose,the largest hose size just doesn't crimped perfect ,works great but doesn't look great!

This thing works great. I crimped all the AC hoses for my Rat Rod AC system. All worked perfect and zero leaks. Easy to use. Good assortment of dies came with it. This was a money saver.

A/C hose crimp tool

This tool appears to be well made , it is for a table or vise mount to use. This item is a must for a/c line connections and is priced to to affordable. Its manual operation gives it a long life with basically no wear or repairs to the tool. I would recommend a non seize or possibly some other type of durable lubricant on the bolt that tightens/ secures the crimp.

Versatile

I'm a diesel technician, bought this tool to use for work, then modified my dodge, moved my accumulator & made my own line set, tool works perfectly, ac system has been working great ever since with all new lines crimped with this tool, works really good being a hand held tool, you can make your crimps right on the machine if there is a reason you cant take the line off while your making it, highly recommend purchase

I’ve only used these on two installs so far but they work great. The cost of this tool is less than what a local A/C shop would charge for crimping just a couple of fittings for me.

Perfect tool for the job.

I used this kit to make the AC lines for a 66 Chevelle using a Vintage Air kit. I used my vice to hold the tool and a cordless impact to tighten and release the crimp. It worked great and all the crimps look factory perfect. The tool is cheaper than having even a couple lines made at a hose and fitting shop. Highly recommend.

Cost effective and time efficient to do on my own. Cons are sometimes you have to turn it and crimp a second time to make sure it_ tight. Seemed to crimp perfect if it was in a vice standing vertically.

Made my own A/C hoses

I installed a Vintage Air retrofit A/C system on my 1967 Mustang. I thought the kit would come with premade hoses, but instead came with a kit to make my own hoses. I had difficulty finding a local shop willing to make the hoses for me using the parts that came in the kit. I purchased this tool and made my own hoses. The crimps may not look quite as perfect as a premade hose, but they came out pretty good and they do not leak.

Perfect RV AC hose crimping tool.

The crimper was just what I needed. Heavy Duty enough for the job but small enough to be able to crimp in place.

Looks good so far. I will update once I crimp some hoses. fit and finish not quite as good as my Mastercool tubing flare tool, but I think it'll work.

Super buy

A little pricey for the DIY'er but works great. I've never been disappointed in any Mophorn tool that I have purchased. The crimper is easy to use and the finished crimp looks factory. I would recommend this tool to anybody looking for a crimper.

Built well. I'm sure it will last me a long time. Just as a reminder, it does not have the right crimping jaws to do hydraulic hoses. AC and air lines only.

easy to use

used this to install a add on AC unit from old air products on my 72 nova, works really well! and its very convenient.always been skeptical about using hose crimpers, I have always took them to a hose shop for the crimping. will use this in the future and strongly recommend it for the DYI customer.
