Great vise! I use it daily on a 1 1/2 hp mill. It is accurate, good quality. I have used High end vices and this a lot cheaper in price. Spent the saved money on other tooling.

Great vice for your average shop projects!
Nice vice for the money! It’s not the same quality or precision as a Kurt vice but the cost is considerably less. If you’re not doing extremely precision work this is more than adequate for most projects . I’m using mine on a good quality drill press so I don’t need anything with greater precision.

Overall is a good buy. I would prefer a lower profile for my milling machine. Straight flat surfaces. For a garage work is pretty decent. Good price also.

The vise is very impressive in all aspects. My only concern was the packaging. It appeared that the box was dropped during transport and subsequently the foam packaging was broken in some cases but the vise was not damaged. As a result of the damage, the manual was scuffed and torn beyond repair. I was unsuccessful in obtaining a replacement copy via your online service and unfortunately did not find a download version in the internet.
Suitable for most uses
It is fine for the hobbyist but it isn't a Kurt. Then again, it is a fifth the cost of the equivalent Kurt. I'd buy it again.
Nice piece!
A real heavyweight that the post office had a bit of a struggle with. A lovely, precise vice. I just filed down a few sharp edges on the underside, but at this price it’s unbeatable. It’s precision-made and, thanks to the design of the guide, it doesn’t pull the clamped material upwards like a simple vise that is used normally with a column drill.

I purchased this vice some time ago in anticipation of purchasing a Mill. It's very heavy and looks great but I've never used it until today. I didn't know I needed to buy clamps to secure it to the bench.

I needed a vise that does not lift the moving jaw and not very large. After checking several tests at Youtube i found I could buy locally but from the brand in EU I had the best price. Fast delivery as well. I stoned all sharp edges and cleaned everything thoroughly, then reoiled with way oil. After reassembly I have used it several times and I am fully satisfied with it's performance. Since some years I also have a dividing appararus for my milling machine that works fine. I recommend this vise as good value for money

Very good value for money, the 6" is a beast and on the slight big side for 21cm milling table, but it works fine, I am very satisfied.

Works great and delivers excellent value for money. Edges of unmachined surfaces can be sharp and would benefit from a more detailed finishing process. Locating dowels of different widths could be supplied to make mounting easier.

Excellent value for $83.
These fit very well on a Tormach 1100M. Really, they're kind of the perfect size. The price is amazing. Are they $600 vises? No. They're $83 vises. And, for that price, they can't be beat. I wanted these to counter my larger, heavier Made in USA vises. These are for smaller jobs that I can fit multiples of on the bed. So far, they're working great. Incidentally, they open almost as deep as the 5" Tormach-branded vises. I wanted clean, blind mounting, so I machined the slots you see in the one photo and machined a bore just in front of the fixed jaw for another T-Slot bolt, right in the center. Works great. Highly recommended.
Quality and value
I bought this vise for a mini-milling machine. I have used it and found it to be well made and accurate enough for a home hobbyist like myself. It closes squarely and operates smoothly. Because I use this on a mini-mill space is critical I like the ability to remove the handle. This is a very minor issue, but I would recommend that you take a file to the top corners of the jaws as they were left sharp after grinding and are a knuckle skinner, this will not affect the function, but it will save your fingers. For the money I feel this vise is well worth the investment.

No complaints at all, jaw surfaces are not to perfect but within published tolerances. One thing is the supplied keys do not fit my M10 (12mm wide) slots, this is minor and can be fixed.

Great vice for the money. As someone else said they need a bit of cleaning up with some emery on the Sharp rough edges but can't complain at this price. I've put a dial indicator over it and it's more than accurate enough for me. Also zero lift on the movable jaw while clamping.
I made my own table clamps to hold them to my milling table.
I used these vices to hold bar stock aluminum in the manufacturing of guitar fret leveling tools.

Bon usinage, précis Attention à ne pas se blesser avec les arrêtes rectifiées Visserie de bridage un peu cheap, mais fait le job Facile à nettoyer La poignée amovible est peu pratique Il manque un usinage supérieur des mors pour maintenir certaines pièces (j'utilise des cales de précision pour compenser) Globalement, pour le tarif, c'est un matériel tout à fait convenable pour approcher le centième sans dépenser une fortune, ce qui est déjà très bien.

Für diesen Preis absolut gute Qualität. Sauber und präzise geschliffene, ebene Oberflächen. Habe 2 Stück parallel montiert. Haben exakt die gleichen Maße. hier handelt es sich um die 100mm Variante ohne Drehteller. Verwirrend ist, das der Schraubstock jetzt nur noch mit Drehteller angezeigt wird.

Petit problème d'équerrage entre le mors fixe et les patins centreurs qui s'engagent dans la rainure de la table. Il y avait 5 /100 iéme de faux équerrage sur la longueur du mors qui fait 120 mm, j'ai dû bricoler les patins pour rectifier le problème.

Bon materiel
Je n’ai pas encore eu l’occasion de m’en servir, car l’étau est vraiment beaucoup plus grand que je pensais et il ne peut pas être utilisé sur ma fraiseuse d’établi. Cela dit la qualité est là, ça respire la solidité. Un jour j’achèterai une fraiseuse plus grosse et j’aurai déjà l’étau. Pour le mandrin diviseur, j’ai dû opter pour un petit modèle (toujours ce problème de taille de machine). Mon seul regret est qu’il n’y a aucun disque fourni, il faut les acheter séparément. Heureusement, c’est du standard et on trouve ces disques facilement. J’aurais aimé également qu’il y a les présélections les plus courantes (3, 6, 12 etc) directement sur le mandrin, comme sur le modèle plus gros. Là, sans disques il faut se positionner sur la graduation (360 degrés), ça manque de précision potentielle. Bref, du bon matériel, solide, légèrement perfectible, mais rien qui ne coûte une étoile en moins.
Bei dem Preis kann man nicht vie falsch machen
Die Qualität ist natürlich nicht besonders gut. Alles ist scharfkanntig und mann muss das Ding erst mal ordentlich entgraten. Die Führungen sind nicht gehärtet und werden kein hohe Lebensdauer haben. Die Spindel ist dreht einfach nur in dem Gussteil ohne Lagerbuchse etc. Absolute Präzision kann man bei dem Preis auch nicht erwarten. Grundsätzlich macht er aber was er soll und mit etwas Nacharbeit ist das ein brauchbarer Schraubstock für einen sehr guten Preis.
