The Dividing Head Set is offered at a Great Price. I have had Success with the brand's Tools in the past so I went for the BS-0 Package for my Mill. The Dividing Head arrived, Securely Packaged with no Damage. All of the Accessories were in a Nicely protected Styrofoam & a Heavy Duty Box. There were Steel Chips and other Debris on the Outside of Almost Everything, Cleaning the Outside of the Tool & Deburring All Three of the Dividing Plates is a Must! I Did Not Disassemble the Headstock, The Rotary Action & Tilt Feature is Smooth & Extremely Accurate. I am very Happy with the New Addition to our Shop. We Also use our 4 Jaw Chuck when needed, Adding More Versatility to the Dividing Head. The brand has Always Had a Good Reputation of Honoring their Warranties, I Hope They Follow-up with their Suppliers, Overall Cleaning The Tool Took Very Little Time, Including Deburring the Indexing Plates. In All Honestly, This is a Very Nice Dividing Head -> Well Worth Every Dime.

As a hobby machinist I have purchased a number of the brand machine tools and have always had very good luck with them. This dividing head is no exception. While not suitable for a production shop, it is well built and meets my needs just fine. I recommend it.

I bought this fully expecting to have to "tune it", but it's fine right out of the box. Well packed, and coated in oil to prevent rust in transit and storage. The instructions are available off the internet if the enclosed manual is a bit sparse. The box contained all the accessories shown in the images (including chuck jaws, screws, etc) and all appear to be taiwanese quality (that's quite good if you don't know) I wouldn't be surprised to find this made in the vertex factory based on fit and quality. I will still strip it down and clean it before serious use, but first impressions on unwrapping and checking is great.

bought to use the MT2 taper with a ER collet chuck. about +/-.002\\". not bad for the price and good enough for what im doing. there is tolerance stacking with the ER. so the head its self is proably around +/- .001.(measuring concentricity on MT2 bore to head roation)

I had to return the first one. The base guide was skewed. Sent it back ordered another and wow what a piece of equipment. Everything I needed and more nice precision Tool.

Universal Dividing
It is a good product that can be adjusted. I couldn't remove the universal play, the play was between 1-2 degrees, because the screw defective and inside - it barely came out... photo: screw.jpg and inside.jpg With a tap and die M20 die 1.5 mm I solved the problem and it works very well. picture: tap.jpg I put a material so that the screw goes hard. The dividing head arrived early, in good condition, although the box had seen better days. This thing is heavy, solid and not cheap looking! Torrance_ are within acceptable range, considering the price point. I_ happy with this purchase !

My initial impression is very good.
I haven't had the time as of yet to give it a thorough rogering, but my initial impression is very good. I unboxed it and made sure that everything was present and accounted for, and all the parts detailed in the add were included.Everything seems very well machined. The head turns smoothly, and without any binding. I will update this review as I delve deeper into it in the near future.
Before use plan on taking it completely apart to clean out the machining grit and deburr everything.
It seems ok for the money but all the movements were very gritty, after machining they just assembled without any cleaning or deburring then filled it with junk grease and hoped no one would notice, typical of Chinese equipment.EDIT: after deburr cleaning and better lube, it seems of good quality. Runout on the chuck is.003 acceptable but I plan to make it better. Notice the picture of backplate, almost half the surface for mating to the spindle was untouched when machining it. I raised it one star that_ being generous.
Headstock Taper is not #7 B&S
This is a very nice dividing head for the money. Pretty well finished and smooth operating, very little lash in the gearing.If you were thinking to use an ER32 chuck in the headstock taper note that the taper is #2 Morse not #7B&S as stated in the specifications. That is really good news given that the ER32 chuck adapter for #2 Morse is much cheaper than the #7 B&S. They are also available with 10mm drawbar threads so you can eliminate the chance of slipping in the taper.I checked the run-out specifications and found the following: Radial run-out of the spindle nose spec 0.0006" Actual

Great value for the price. The chuck ran out about .004” when it received it. When a slight modification, it can now be indicated in.I’m happy with the accuracy and workmanship. Now let’s see how it holds up. Great for a garage shop.

Di fattura non troppo curata esteticamente, con alcuni particolari da aggiustare (la mia aveva l'alidada bloccata) e con qualche dettaglio piuttosto economico (l'indicatore visivo della rotazione in gradi) ma perfettamente efficiente. Per il costo non si può pretendere nulla di meglio.
