These handrails were great. They were lightweight easy to install. All you need is a hammer drill for concrete stairs.

Hand railing missing part....was mailed to us...no charge!! Very Satisfied with the brand!!

We ordered 2 railings. We were told that the railings were "used" but "like new". One railing was like new but the other one had some nuts and screws missing. It looked like it had been assembled and then taken apart and returned. We were able to buy the missing screws and nuts by comparing it to the other complete rail. The only parts we weren't able to purchase was the blind flanges. By corresponding to the brand and explaining our predicament and by being patient, they sent the missing parts to us. Their agent whom I worked through...her name is Bunny..was very polite and patient with me. My husband and I are very satisfied with this company and its product. We will probably purchase two more railings after we install these two....if they are still available to us.

This is a very nice and sturdy handrail. Looks very nice. Many of my older friends appreciate it when they come over. I would buy it again if I need another handrail. Worth the money.

Great features on outdoor steps

This Velor handrails has worked perfectly from our garage up 3 steps into the house! My husband was able to install them without too much effort. Now I feel safe walking through the garage and up the stairs because I have a railing to hold onto! Wonderful safety handrail for everyone, no matter their age.

Super Sturdy. Look Great, and Easy to Install!

I can't recommend these enough if you're in need of super sturdy, do-it-your-self railings! As a 50+ year old female with only basic construction knowledge, I was able to install 2 of these myself. The kit has everything you need except for basic tools you probably already own and a 10mm drill bit. Drilling into concrete was the hardest part because I didn't want to buy a specialized drill for one job (used the cheap household one I already had), but with a quality drill bit & persistence, I was able to get all of the holes ready. At the landing, it was much easier because the material was Trex decking. Correct hole placement and sizing was key, and once that's done it's just a matter of getting all the bolts installed (a ratchet wrench helped for that). I get a lot of compliments and everyone thinks they must have been a lot more expensive because of how substantial and sturdy they are!

We are very pleased with our new Handrail. It is very sturdy and easy to assemble and install. (Except that one screw was shorter than the rest ). Very handy and well made!

Handy homemaker

Order was delivered within 3 days. All parts individually bubble wrapped, plus boxes were insulated top and bottom. All hardware was clearly marked, including tools to assemble. Directions were very clear and assembly was so easy. Very impressed with the quality of the material and the look of the product. Price point was a bargain. First time customer, but I will continue to scan their products in the future. Very impressed!

Highly Recommended

The order came in just 2 days. The material quality is excellent and installation took about 2-3 hours. For concrete/stone stairs, you will need to use 10mm concrete bit and a hammer drill which you can order them online (Amazon for the drill and Temu for the masonry bit). Once installed, the rails are super strong. There were some minor issues such as drill bit size info missing in the manual, a few paint scratches, and packing box damages. But these were nothing compared with the happy outcome.

Beautiful and Does the Job!

I wanted two rails to go on my two steps going out the back door. These rails really make me feel safe and I love how beautiful they look! It's really worth the money and easy to install. We had to ask our carpenter neighbor to drill the holes on my flagstone steps because he has a heavy duty drill and was happy to do the drilling for us. I'm so happy with the rails! Very sturdy metal!

This was a great purchase! the kit came, and I was able to put it together in about 15 min. whoever designed did it with the customer in mind. To install on steps was even easier, each side took only a few moments, and I was done, and they look and feel great. Very sturdy!

We did have to go to the hardware store to purchase very inexpensive stronger anchors however this hand rail is strong and beautiful!

Nice addition to my steps

The hard part was drilling holes in the cement steps. I had to buy a hammer drill but it was a easy install. I do see that it has rust on it already so you might want to add paint again at some point.

Good Quality

I didn't have any rails on my porch steps, and my wife and I both have knee issues. so we needed some kind of railing. This did the job, and overall I am happy. It is very sturdy and I expect it to last (might need a bit of rustoleum sometimes).I don't have a lot to add from the other reviews. I didn't look closely enough when I bought it, and I thought it was a single piece welded together, instead of a lot of pieces needed to bolt together. I think the bolts look kinda ugly and take away from the look, but again, my fault for not paying attention. As has been pointed out, the instructions are poor, but if you need more you probably don't need to be doing this yourself. You should be comfortable using carbide bits (and have a decent drill) to drill into the brick or concrete if that's what you are mounting to. If you have a hammer drill that is a bonus. If you are going to try to assemble this with the two pitiful included wrenches you will be working for a long time, you should invest in some real tools. If you have a Milwaukee M12 lithium cordless rachet or something similar it is a breeze. Make sure you leave things a bit loose and movable until you get it in place and leveled…

They worked perfectly. I installed them on new concrete steps 3 weeks after they were poured. Used a 10 mm SDS drill for the mounting holes. Very sturdy. Just what we needed.

No more falls

Due to eye issues, I have missed the bottom step and fallen into my yard. These were sturdy and are very helpful to keep me upright.

Soled a problem

Needed to add railing for my mother in-law who was having trouble with patio steps, easy to install, sturdy and did the job nicely. The directions are not great but if you have common sense this is a no-brainer

Well made, check size for your application

Well made, strong, firm. But I should of ordered the longer 4 step version, I did not realize we had short steps, the angel was a little off on the top horizontal portion, But it still works. The 4 step version would look a little better.

Easy to install recommend using a hammer drill for the anchor bolts for concrete steps Looks great sturdy prevents falling for seniors. Well worth the price.

Great product

The railing itself is beautiful and well made. The only problems we had were getting it affixed to our cement steps. Very difficult unless you have specialized tools. But, once up, it looks great. Very pleased with the purchase.

I was going to install these for my wife put unfortunately she passed away(death certificate available) before I could get these installed. I never opened the box and they are in my garage. Can I possibly return them?

The anchors are not good...i bought better ones from the store 1/2 inch did the job...

Seller with integrity

I purchased this stair for 3-4 outdoor steps. Buyer should be aware that there is hardware visible at the top and bottom of rails to allow for different incline of steps. I purchased two but only opened one box to see if it would fit our porch steps. Unfortunately, for our area, it did not meet code, so we had to return it. I will say that the rail was high quality and if I could have kept it, I would. I will also say that the seller was very good about refunding the money and helping with the return mailing stickers. So I did not rate the features because I did not keep it, but rated the appearance/heft of the product and working with the seller.

Very happy with the purchase overall!It adjusted well to an old porch that is non-conforming. Overall a great price compared to paying for something custom made.Well, made sturdy, like the curve because it prevents the need to line up the steps with the handrail exactly.The install was a bit tricky:The hardest part of the install was that the bolts that go into the concrete are metric and drill bits are generally standard. It probably could have worked, but we didn't take the chance that the holes were slightly the wrong diameter. We went out and bought additional bolts from the hardware store because we didn't want to risk it being that we were drilling into concrete. Also, borrowed the special drill to drill into concrete.The diagram instructions in the box is too minimalist, but since it is fairly simple to put together, we figured out how to put it together pretty quickly.

Did not Like the anchors so I bought my own. The rest was good easy to put together it looks good I put one on the front of the house and the back

Little chipped

The only complaint is the paint was scratched and chipped. But it wasn_ bad. Wish it was in better shape when it arrived.

Excellent rail gives security for steps . Difficult to install need 2 people.

4 or 5 Steps Handrail Picket, Black

The shipping was fast. Very impressed. Then I opened the box. The small parts bag was ripped in multiple places, and the small parts were all over the inside of the box, and inside some of the Handrail parts. The other small plastic bag was also crushed, so some of the metal pieces were bent. Corrected in my shop with multiple tools. The directions were crumpled and used as packing. The thin paper was ripped, and pieces were missing. Not sure is this is a standard affair or just a one off with careless packing. The directions are pictures only with no dimensions. I measured the diameter of the concrete fasteners, which was 1/2 inch. So I drilled 1/2 inch holes into my brick porch. I should have drilled one or two sizes smaller because the drilled holes were too large for the fasteners to expand and tighten. Ended up putting a few wraps of good old fashion duct tape on the fasteners. Issue solved. The actual installation went well. Handrail was anchored firmly. Thats when I noticed a large chip out of the top railing. Used some touch-up paint. I was very disappointed in the fact the there is no way to contact the seller or manufacturer. No phone, no email. Works fine, but there are some flaws

The one I received is designed slightly differently than this one and less money, but it works for me. The rail is about a 14" in length, made to mount on two steps as pictured. However the hardware included, along with the worthless instructions don't do much to assist installation. There is no hardware to mount to wooden steps. They included cheaply made masonry anchors, but no lag bolts or hardware for any other type of mounting.The rail itself seems to be built ok with sturdy materials. There are flaws though. There are several places where welds weren't cleaned up properly causing some sharp splintering. I had to file the splinters down and touch up the paint. There's also a large scratch on mine at the top that I had to file down and touch up. The paint work is not the best, and looks like it would scratch up pretty easily. I expect the sun to eventually fade out the thin coat of glossy black paint.The instructions are worthless, with small pictures of hardware only, no written instructions.
