Great little machine for doing miniatures. I wish it had a better way to adjust wheel speed.
Switch burned out
This little pottery wheel was interesting to play with. I made a couple small cups. Then the switch burned out (the rheostat that controls the speed). Overall, wasn't worth it and I wouldn't buy it again.
Different use
For the money, great ! Im using it not for clay, but for car pistons. Do not have a lathe and need to chamfer pistons, works...

Flimsy plastic and not enough power
Hi I had seen a review on what must have been a previous version and was very disappointed when what I received had barely enough power for my 4 year old to use it. It makes a groaning noise when he is trying to center and I am worried about how long it will last. I had hoped to be able to use it myself to make miniature pottery however it groans when I am trying to center or cone. It feels flimsy to throw on. Would not buy again. Thank you Lari

We were very excited to start making pottery together, but shortly after turning the machine on, it began making a rattling noise. Even with the slightest touch, the wheel would spin and then suddenly stop repeatedly. In less than five minutes, it completely stopped working. Since then, it only makes a small noise, and it seems like the motor has stopped functioning altogether. I purchased this product expecting it to be more carefully and precisely made than other toys, so I am very disappointed with the quality.
Not a complete toy
When this item arrived I was concerned by its build quality - it felt flimsy & plasticy. I was concerned it would break immediately the moment I tried to center & cone. So far I have successfully thrown with a 300g lump (10.5oz) of clay. I'm not sure what the limit is, but there is absolutely no way it could handle the 6.6lbs advertised. If you're prepared to be gentle, however, you may find it's worth your while!
I have a ceramics shop and thought this would be funny
It was not funny, you can kind of make things on it but like its best of you could nail it to a bench because it is so light it moves on itself. Dont do this to kids and blame them when their interest die this is not a.kids toy this is an adult agreement to be inconvenienced while making teacups
Noisy and vibrating
I am a happy customer but this pottery wheel is noisy and vibrates too much. I am trying to get a refund and give it back.

The power in the wheel is weak. It slows down when you try to throw. But it is steady and you can center the clay. Only miniatures is possible to make, the amount of clay you can use is really smalll. Fun to try but nothing more.
Not worth the money
I can not recommend this machine. It just doesn’t have enough power to spin through centering - even if the piece of clay is tiny. Such a shame, I was looking so much forward to throwing small items on this small wheel.

Bought as a Christmas gag gift and she loves it
I saw this and impulse bought it as my wife is always showing me little bowls and pots people make on Instagram. It was a bit of a gag gift as it is so inexpensive, but you know what? It works pretty well and she has had a lot of fun using it. It might not last a super long time, but fun for the money spent.
Malfunction Unit
Its malfunctioned, order it for my daughter for the christmas, but arrived malfunctioned, speed control switch is broken and motor may be bad too. Very disappointed.

Well I have had this little machine for a bit and threw my first dish. lol II surprised myself.and stress melted away..I just wanted to say how pleased I am with the brand Speedy system of delivery..I ordered the programmable electric Kiln two days ago as well. It arrived whilst doing the dish..I will review it when I settle down,.. I can not believe it. Thank You

Arrived quickly and well packaged. Contained everything described. Tried it twice and works decently. Slows down when a lot of pressure is placed, and am not super sure if the throwing disc is actually spinning properly on a horizontal plane. But for little items, seems to work alright. Apart from the doubt on the spinning, the power cord connection could have been better located behind the machine, not right in front. Otherwise, great, takes up little space and so far so good. Thank you.

Slows down a lot when pressure is applied. Doesn’t run all smoth. Basin doesn’t leak-good. Very fun and actually usable to make small pottery. I have been using it several hours in total and it is FUN!
Aspiring Potter
I did a lot of research before ordering this specific mini pottery wheel and am delighted with its performance. I have done a lot of handbuilding with clay over the years but never really tackled wheel work until recently. Happily the skills are coming along well and the mini wheel is a welcome addition to my toolset. I was worried that it would be prone to breaking but so far it has proved to be robust enough to cope with the challenges I throw at it.

Not very powerful, but plenty decent for its small size. And for the price it can't be beat. My daughter loved playing with it.

This mini pottery wheel is excellent. It is pretty much a plug in and use machine. If you want a good quality great priced miniature pottery wheel this one is it.
Broke after 1 use
The motor on this wheel is so weak, it broke after 1 use. You cannot put any sort of weight or pressure on it, even using the larger plate. It keeps stalling mid-spin and is essentially useless
Retired
This little wheel is great for mini pots. I also threw and bottomed a 4 inch cup . I've made 16 or so dollhouse type pots, lights and spindles. It works !
Mini wheel for pottery in pink
Especially for the price this is a great buy! A little louder than I would personally like but works well and splash pan wabbles a bit but is easy to clean and the only mini wheel I have that has a splash pan ! And it's pink!!!!!!

We bought this for our granddaughter. She has had so much fun with it and made a vase as soon as she got it home. We purchased air dry clay so they wouldn't need it fired in a kiln. It is a great pottery wheel with which to learn. The brand shipped it quickly and packaged it very well. I definitely recommend them. I will buy from them again.
Does what it says
Use it for polishing dice, works fine, controls are a bit flimsy, but fair in this price range. The power supply cord could be longer, but that's really a non-issue

This was the perfect wheel to replace the trash I bought on Amazon for double the price. This one is PERFECT. Easy to use, clean, and a great starting point to begin getting the feel for pottery. Would suggest to anyone looking for a mini wheel over any others on Amazon.

Este prima data cand folosesc o roată a olarului. Si mă bucur ca am cumparat-o de la producător, cu un preț imbatabil! A fost dragoste la prima utilizare:) Foarte usor de folosit. Are turații suficiente pentru miniaturile din lut pe care le creez. Accesoriile cu care a venit la pachet m-au ajutat sa fac primele mele vaze miniaturale. Șorțul este și el util. Are doua platane: unu de 10 cm, altul de 6.5 cm diametru, care se schimba foarte ușor cu un inbus (inclus în pachet). Cablul de alimentare e destul de scurt, dar am rezolvat usor cu un prelungitor atasat pe marginea mesei de lucru. Recomand din tot sufletul aceasta roata a olarului oricui vrea sa inceapa un nou hobby, echipat ca un profesionist.

Un producto dentro de sus proporciones bastante bueno tengo algo que puntuar acerca del producto sí el plato que contiene el agua para el barro es demasiado pequeño con lo cual se llena con bastante rapidez y se derrama el suelo pudiendo este provocar algún cortocircuito pues es eléctrico el tamaño de disco grande digamos que es de tamaño mediano y el pequeño muy pequeño pero me ha gustado mucho porque era para niño de 8 años así que lo volvería a comprar sí

Interessante, funciona bem, embora seja muito pequena e fique toda suja, mesmo nos botões.
Un objet décevent
N'espérez pas tourner avec ce tour, même une petite pièce.. le moteur n'est pas assez puissant et ne permet par le centrage de l'argile. Pour du tournassage cela peut fonctionner mais reste limité car le moteur ralentit fortement lorsque vous touchez la pièce.

Leider war ich nicht zufrieden mit der kleinen Töpferscheibe. Sie ist weder leise, noch packt sie mehr als 300g Ton, ich kann sie fast mit der Hand anhalten.... Retoure würde nicht leicht gemacht. Habe dooferweise jetzt noch eine Diesel Standheizung bei der Marke bestellt, da günstig und so viele gute Berichte. Leider wurden mir irgendwie zwei Heizungen berechnet. Habe nun versucht gleich zu stornieren. Bin gespannt ob es diesmal möglich ist. ÄRGERLICH.

Klein maar sterk
De prijs was aantrekkelijk en had niet zo'n krachtig motortje verwacht! Veel accessoires en makkelijk in gebruik. Klein werk schijfje, en mijn kind is er hartstikke blij mee. Maakt wel af en toe een uit-het-lood-geluid.
Leuk en zeer betaalbaar
Ik heb er al enkele leuke werkjes mee gemaakt, ideaal als kleine glazuurproefjes. Het wisselen van draaischijfje lukt helaas totaal niet dua ik hou gewoon degene die er al Op zat er op. Ook met bijgeleverde inbus krijg ik hem niet verwisseld. Verder prima spul!
Raport calitate-preț
E o jucărie interesantă, de o calitate ce reflectă prețul. Are un reglaj al sensului de invartire a rotii cât și a vitezei de rotație, masa de lucru este din aluminiu având 2 bucăți (una mare și una mică), tăvița de colectare a surplusului este dintr-un plastic ce îți dă senzația că e dur. La 300 de grame motorul face față cu brio la solicitări, nu recomand să fie încărcat mai mult. Ca dezavantaje: cablul de alimentare ca scurt și în locul picioarelor solide ar fi mult mai ok niște ventuze de calitate din cauză că aparatul are tendința de a se deplasa din cauza trepidațiilor și a forței de lucru. În rest recomand!

Natuurlijk geen echte schijf, maar voor de prijs doet hij het hartstikke goed. Maakt wel meer herrie dan een grote draaischijf en je kan er nauwelijks kracht op zetten zonder dat hij in snelheid afneemt, maar met een beetje oefening kunnen er prima vaasjes en zelfs kleine kopjes op gedraaid worden. Snelheid goed regelbaar.

Motor hat genügend Kraft um problemlos 300g Ton zu zentrieren. Es macht grossen Spass mit der mini Töpferscheibe. Zu empfehlen Einzig die Wanne ist ein wenig zu niedrig
