Shade sails help make a garden, patio, balcony or terrace more comfortable on sunny days. They can cover a dining table, seating area, children’s space or poolside area without visually enclosing the outdoors.

Before choosing, measure the area you want to cover and identify the available fixing points. Also consider the sun’s direction, the shape best suited to the space and the slope needed for water drainage. HDPE fabric is a practical choice for breathable shade; polyester may suit other covering requirements.

Choose secure fixings, durable rings and ropes suited to the installation area. Keep the sail properly tensioned, check the anchor points regularly and clean it according to the product instructions to extend its use.
