I love wood turning so much I wore my original lathe wood chuck out. The Vivor wood chuck appeared on my Facebook page and I investigated. I like the dovetail clamping power and the square chuck key for their positive gripping power. It’s been about a year now and many hundred turning later and I still like it. I occasionally perform routine oiling and cleaning maintenance.

The chuck is almost exactly what I was looking for, however the recession for fitting the plates is the opposite of what I saw when I was looking to order. That aside, it is a decent bit of kit that I can still use with some of my other plates. It is a good weight and with the adapter can be used on different sizes of lathe.

I'm very happy with that truck it is proved to be a valuable piece of equipment in my shop I use it all the time now I got it I was using anova 3 but I slid it to the back burner to my other lathe and on my main lathe I'm using my new truck my power truck I put it on my flat Jaws work duty so I my beaver Chuck is standing up and taking the job on very happy with it look forward to doing more business with you people little faster shipping would be nice though

Chuck is fine but had to buy a thread insert to fit my lathe as only seem to do one size Chuck insert to a 1"-8tpi

Thread was a little on the loose side, but still preformed quite well, had to use plumbers tape to get a better fit

I bought this chuck on the back of buying the same chuck with 5 sets of jaws so that I don't waste as much time swapping jaws from one type to the next, excellent chuck for the money, works as it should.

his is a great chuck for small to medium spindle turning and bowls up to maybe 6 inches in diameter. Maybe a little bigger but it's more for the small stuff. It holds tight, it does have dovetail Jaws so cut your tenons accordingly. I can't see spending double the cost for a bigger brand name mini chuck. This suits my needs perfectly for tons of projects.

rapport qualité prix correct
Mandrin premier prix, niveau de qualité en relation. Les mors ne sont pas symétriques sur celui que j'ai reçu, l'autocentrage est assez approximatif, les angles sont agressifs, donc méfiance. Mozart était capable de jouer sur un instrument de musique désaccordé, je ne suis pas un génie mais à ce prix là je fais ce que je souhaite, ça me prends un peu plus de temps pour centrer mais je peux tourner bien des pièces grâce à ce mandrin. En conclusion, je ne regrette pas mon achat et je pense que c'est l'outil idéal pour des petits budgets sans soucis de productivité.

Expédition rapide comme d'habitude chez la marque quand le matériel est en stock. Le mandrin semble être de bonne qualité, la finition est correcte et le jeu dans les mors n'est pas exagéré. Il tourne bien rond tout en maintenant les pièces de bois bien fermement. Bon rapport qualité / prix, je le recommande.

Holzdrehen
Präzise gearbeitetes Spannfutter zum Drechseln, sehr gutes Material (C45), exakte Führung der Spannbacken. Hinten geschlossen gegen Eindringen von Spänen. Alles zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Einzig den Adapter musste ich umbauen, die Hülse mit M33x3,5 absägen und statt dessen ein Gewinde M14x1 in den Rest des Adapters schneiden. Einen Adapter M14x1 auf 1"x8TPI habe ich weltweit nicht gefunden, aber meine kleine Drehbank hat solch eine Spindel.
