Cast Iron Grinding Discs 2pcs Grain Mill Grinder

Fast enough for my two pigs.

Bought this grain grinder in August of 2025 and used it through the fall and winter of 2025 and into spring of 2026 to grind corn for 2 pigs using the steel plates. Plenty fast enough grinding for those two pigs. A 5-gallon bucket fits under the spout perfectly. As I recall can fill up a bucket in less than 5 minutes. It also came with stone-like plates, but I have not tried those yet. I may try using them to make corn, wheat, rye, or buckwheat flour one of these days.

This thing is junk! And who stores the ball bearing inside the machine in the gears!?!??!?!?!

The sandy texture of milled flour and it left a mess.

I did not like the product, it left a sandy texture in my baked breads. It left a mess; flour dust everywhere.

Broken stones arrived instead of good usable ones.

My Grain Mill arrived via FedEx, the box was damaged too. I took the mill out of the box, the Styrofoam was damaged too. The box did say on the outside of it "Team Lift" which means, more than one person are required to lift it. That didn't happen with my delivery. There was ONE man, he is the only person I saw when the box was delivered onto my porch. The Grinding Stones were in the foam they were shipped in, but one of them was broken, dang it. I was really looking forward to using this mill to grind some grains for bread, now that won't happen, until and if the brand sends me some replacement stones to replace the broken ones. I sent the brand the required pictures of the box, after sending them a couple of pictures of the broken stone. I understand their wanting pictures, now, I want replace parts/stones for the ones broken. I gave them what they required, now I require replacement stones, to complete my order satisfactorily. The mill looks good, but... with no stones to test, who knows?

Big mill doesn’t make fine flour.

The grain mill is heavy. Make a tremendous amount of noise and is very dusty. It doesn’t mill the wheat berries fine enough to make fine wheat flour . The tighter you make it the louder it is. It will be ok to grind corn in garage for chickens .

If you work hard for your money, I would strongly advise against buying this grinder. Unfortunately, it is the worst product I have purchased from the brand. The first unit I received didn't work at all, and getting support was frustrating because I was given the runaround before it was replaced. The replacement unit only lasted until the fourth use before it failed. Spending over $600 on a machine that became unusable after such limited use was extremely disappointing. I purchased this grinder to process dried plantain into flour. I already own several other the brand's products, including their vegetable cutter and food dehydrator, and both have performed exceptionally well. I would recommend those products without hesitation. However, this grinder has been a complete letdown. Because the grinder failed, I've been forced to use my blender instead. While the blender works, it has a small capacity and was never designed for grinding large quantities of dried plantain. As a result, the process is slow, exhausting, and far less efficient than it should be. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this grinder. Day 1: 5 minutes to put it all together. First things first: Roasted Soybeans. Took a bit to get the grinding to the right size but once I tightened the knob to the right level it came out perfect. 3 gallons later - still perfect, and only about 2 minutes gone. Normally this takes me an hour using the manual grinder (which doesn't do the job very well to begin with) but the brand knocked it out in minutes. Then added crimped oats and this grinder did the job. Sunflower seeds? Done. Corn? Done. As long as it's dry, it'll do it lickety-split. Suddenly, my day is free. Guess I can't put off building the chicken's salad bar garden anymore.

Great Bang for Your Buck!

So far, I’ve only used the machine once. It worked fantastic! It did exactly what it was supposed to do. It produced a very fine mill so I can bake with my own milled wheat that I’ve locally sourced! The ONE negative thing I have to say, is the black brackets that make up the legs… Are very sharp!!! I cut myself twice and had to put some foam tape on the edges to prevent further cuts. A minor adjustment in life’s little surprises 😊 Super happy with my purchase through and through!

It's looking good

We have really enjoyed the grinding of the wheat berries. There aren't instructions on using the stones for the wet function, but we'll cross that bridge when necessary. The brand has always been good at sending links for help.

they will not put this up anyway

This company is a joke. They refused to take this item back even though I never used it. They have a picture of it (see below) as small device on a kitchen counter. this thing is almost 50lbs. do not buy from this company. pay a little extra with the ability to return if the item is not what you want. they kept insisting that it was clearly marked as 50lbs but it's only in one of the pictures and the buried in the specifications. that does not even matter. it's still in the box unused ?! just take it back ?! I am the customer. never heard of such a thing. Plan to have my sister who works for a major newspaper do a big article on this sham of a company.

bought this for the kitchen. It's the size of an airplane engine. Looked closer at the specifications surprised to see how heavy it was - could not take it out of the box. The picture has a quaint device on the kitchen counter. They refused to take it back?! still in the box. totally unused. Do not buy from this company.

It does not mill wheat to a fine powder like it says it does it spins to fast an create a vortex an blowed all the actual fine powder out the back of the machine do not recommend for making flour at all if your making corn meal it would be fine bc it only does course grinding

Best purchase for small homestead

Ive taken on the challenge of feeding my animals non gmo organic feed, to save on costs ive invested in this mill and bought whole grains. This rips through corn, barley and soy no problem. I would recommend making sure you adjust the feed plate accordingly. Example:Barley 1/2 open corn 3/4 open

This is the third item by this manufacturer we have bought. Surprisingly well constructed works very well for our Homestead.

It’s big It’s heavy It’s loud It’s dusty Does it grind rice into flour, yes… You might have to keep running the same flour thru a few times to get really fine powder like flour tho. Overall it’s impressive I was a little overwhelmed at first but it’s quite simple once you get used to it. You’re going to need some storage space for this. You definitely want to consider milling outside ( not in your kitchen ) like the instructions say Definitely need to run a few throw away batches at first. My rice flour came out gray at first & then it started coming out nice & white.
