lots of assembly

Works fine as expected. Allow a few hours for assembly heaps of bolts. instruction are good for the majority but not very clear fot the final fitting of gun and hoses.Overall happy with the purchase.

Works good

Got pretty fast and works really well just wish had brighter lighting.

Great product!!

Pros: Well designed and well made, no misaligned holes, engineered great. Cons: The siphon tube is very lacking in ability, I recommend sealing all plates with supplied silicon, added more heavy duty foam tape. I had to design and install a metering valve to improve the media flow. Overall im very happy that I purchased it.

BRAND NEW BUT NOT

JUST RECIEVED SHIPMENT, AND AT FIRST GLANCE DOES NOT LOOK GOOD AT ALL. ALL HARDWARE IS RUSTED AND CAN BARELY OPEN CLAMPS HOLDING THE DOOR.

Well worth the price.

I am surprised how well this unit is built. I was not expecting what I got. It came with sealant, extra screws and nuts & bolts, and washers. I used it to sandblast gun parts before painting with Cerakote. It really feels solid and no sand leaks. Only two issues, which can be modified with ease. One, the vacuum is way too strong for the cabinet. It needs an adjustable vent on the opposite side for balancing air flow. Two, the pickup tube for the sand is not ideal. I will modify the bottom with a fine screen and a flow port and tube going to the gun where the plug to empty the unit is located. That will make it a Five star unit. ( one star for me)

Nice hobby blaster

A good starting machine. Vaccum sure sucks! And super loud! Would question putting something heavy in it. Definitely a nice box, that will be modified to meet my needs. Note- Hardware is somewhat questionable. Had several pieces of hardware strip, bad threads, or in questionable application. During my build I swapped the grade nothing hardware for a higher grade from my local hardware store. Drilled out and upsides screw and nut replacements for the sheetmetal screws used in the gloveports. And riveted on the hinge and door.

Get the dust collector! Very good product!

Assembly was pretty straightforward, for what you pay for should really come with the dust collector attachment. But other than sourcing the dust collector attachment locally. But otherwise very good product and would/have definitely recommend.

Works great and I’d Buy Again

I like the sturdiness of the unit. I did go and make some immediate improvements with a metering valve and an in cabinet blow nozzle but it’s great. I only gave it 4 stars because the gloves seem oddly small for even average sized hands. I’d buy it again though

improve slope, gloves and pick up tube

Seems well made. Not too bad to assemble. The only things I wish was better is the gloves are small and should be better quality. The pickup tube and hose need to be better. Use a longer metal tube from center to corner with elbow. Improved hoses as these are very thin. The media return to center is not very good at all. I have to stop and return it to center. Angle of return needs to be better. make the legs taller so you can have a deeper slope.

Decent - but with some mods... great

I would highly recommend checking out a couple youtube videos on modding these blasting cabinets. A few simple changes and you can add your own air gun inside for cleaning the blasting media off your parts. Another good addition (if you have room underneath) is a media pickup from below that has a valve you can open or close to really vary your media pickup. Apparently the metal pipe that comes with the kit clogs often and doesn't work too great. I never tried it out myself so I cant confirm if that's the case. Lastly would be a vacuum or dust separator. There is a hole at the back of the cabinet for this purpose - you'll just need to drill your own mounting holes. I ended up buying a dedicated small shop vac with HEPA filters to use as my dust collector, but there are much better alternatives out there. As for the product itself straight out of the box, it could have been better. Both side panels simply did not line up properly and required cutting a few ends down so they would fit into place and have the holes line up. This was minor to accomplish but annoying as hell. The manual is straight out of China with very broken English. The pictures are easy enough to figure out a…

Sandblaster cabinet, the good the bad and the ugly

Difficult to assemble as several pieces where not exact size to fit easily together, was able to pound into place with a large mallet. Slope of bottom not steep enough to use walnut and pecan aggregates. Good value.

lukaManufacturer's catalogue

great product

It works wonderfully. Where the doors open I just put a profile that catches some excess sand so that it doesn't fall down and I improved circulation of sand. Otherwise Excellent product.

Lazy Dawg Kreations

Price was good, quality was mostly good with the exceptions of some of the equipment. I had to change all the hoses in order to stop leaks to something of a higher quality. Also had to change the size to increase the air pressure/flow. The light supplied could use some improvement, something LED more bright, in which I replaced also. Assembly instructions where very unclear....took some thought before assembly.

Takes a bit to put together because there are about 1000 bolts but it seals up nicely and works well for the small stuff I need to blast.

The packaging was really good. The door on the unit doesn’t fit properly, you have to pull it over to the left really hard to get it to open or close ! Iv tried to tweak it but it just wasn’t built right! The jam on the unit wasn’t Square when built.

Instructions are horrible too small type

The unit is good for the price. The instructions are horrible. Bad English, type was hard to read, too small. The parts pages with the numbers didn't match the items. The order of assembly was hard to follow. The worst part was when we started assembling the media cabinet, 2 of the side panels edges weren't bent at all, the other two were. We had to bend the edges with crude tools since we don't own a sheetmetal brake. The bend came out horrible, but we made it work. We had to we had come too far in the assembly. We also had trouble with the door hinges, the instructions do not even mention if the hinges go on the inside or outside, again after many try's we made them fit. Overall, for a Chinese part the sand blaster will work fine. We modified the cheap airline fittings with higher quality parts. I suggest take lots of pictures of all the panels before assy, especially the media cabinet.

John H.Manufacturer's catalogue

Great addition to the garage.

I purchased the 25 Gallon Sandblasting Cabinet, and it has exceeded my expectations. The heavy-duty steel build feels extremely sturdy, and the 40-120 PSI range gave me great versatility for rust and paint removal. I also added a vacuum on the side, which really helped control dust, and I installed a water separator in the airline—this prevents any water from getting mixed in with the abrasive media. The viewing window is clear, and the included blasting gun and ceramic nozzles are top-notch. It’s a bit heavy, so a stable bench is a must, but these upgrades make it even better. If you’re doing DIY restoration or metal prep, this cabinet is a fantastic investment!

Fast delivery. I went from sandblasting outside to use the sandblasting cabinet. Great improvement and no sandblasting corns and dust all over the place anymore. The cabinet seems to be general dust tight, and I only need to seal a few places after the first trail.

Cannot get it to stop leaking sand. It has a dust collection system on it to help with cabinet pressure but with the supplied sealant plus some and heavy duty metal backed tape it still finds a way to leak out my expensive media. Lighting is very minimal I had to add lights to see in cabinet. If you are expecting to upgrade from Harbour Freight cabinet they are very comparable. And I know you get what you pay for. Really my first purchase from the brand that I am not satisfied with.

Very cheaply made but does the job. If I was needing to use it more often this would not be the cabinet to get.

Peter S.Manufacturer's catalogue

It actually works, but get the 60 gal one

It works. I didn't use the gasket goop when putting it together, and it's fine if you use a shop-vac to give negative pressure. If you don't, it leaks like a sieve. Anyways, for the money, this thing is great and actually works. I regret not buying the 60 gallon one because the media funnel bottom part is steeper. This one is shallow so the media doesn't run down to the bottom. The sheet metal did come with some dings and bends, but it was packaged well, it's just that shipping companies suck. The light inside is useless, plan to get a bigger one, and the lens is difficult to see though, but that's somewhat normal with sandblasting. I bought the MZB 13.2 Gallon Ultra Quiet Air Compressor to use with this, and that compressor is absolutely amazing. I used 100 grit aluminum oxide.

After finally getting my blast cabinet together and making upgrades right away, I went to try and blast a piece of metal and no media came out the gun. I removed the media hose from the gun and tried it and found I had no suction. I checked the gun and found that the hole where the media comes into the gun was blocked shut with flashing and I had to grind it out. Gun worked good after that.

AndrewManufacturer's catalogue

It's alright...

I bought the 60 gallon cabinet. The instructions are basically a reference and are lacking detail. Multiple panels were bent and scratched, but straightened out easy enough. The self tapping screws for the glove rings are junk, I opted to use 8-32 screws and nuts instead, practically all stripped out when trying to install. The foam sealant seems to be decent quality and is adhered well. The funnel section had two flanges not quite bent to the right angle. The light is cheap, but works, will probably end up replacing it anyways. I didnt use the gun that came with it, so I can't comment on that but it feels cheap. Be prepared for a long assembly time. Overall it'll work, but I expected slightly better for the price point.

Ok Cabinet

Bought this thinking it would be good for what I needed, I have replaced the viewing window 4 times already, this cabinet leaks everywhere even after using silicone to try and seal edges. I would look for a different cabinet if you dont want to replace the viewing window after every use.

Failed product at every level

My company has had good experiences with previously purchased products so we decided to take a chance with the 245 gallon pressure pot blast cabinet. To start with whomever designed this has no idea how a pressure pot blasting cabinet actually works, I feel like they tried to copy a pot system from a reputable company and when they failed they just started adding valves and created a ridiculous operating procedure. I've used numerous pressure pot cabinets in the past - you step on the pedal and it works - end of story. Assembly was pretty straight forward aside from having to replace some hardware for the casters that wasn't long enough to even get through the leg yet alone the caster. Upon completion of the assembly it became instantly obvious that this cabinet requires a work platform to operate, the bottom of the window is 6 feet off the ground meaning you need a platform or stool to be able to see inside the cabinet... Not a big deal to order a work platform but would have been nice to know before ordering. Hooked up the air and found all the factory air fittings were leaking, the factory used no teflon tape or paste on a single threaded component and worse they tightened…

60 gallon cabinet

It’s mediocre, but does the job. It’s fairly light weight, and the materials are a bit less robust than they probably should be. The assembly instructions are nearly useless, and are written incorrectly in a few spots, especially when it comes to the viewing window. Reference the picture online, not the picture in the instructions. The seals could be better, it leaks a little dust. The suction hose it came with is trash, it was kinked in the packaging and collapses horribly when in use. Expect to attach a shop vac to the side wall port or you’ll have a mess on your hands. It helps a lot to keep the dust down. For the price, it’s alright, but should probably be a little lower than it is. They shipped via Fed Ex, and it wasn’t even picked up until the day it was supposed to be delivered. If you want something basic for occasional use and won’t be using it in any kind of mass production environment, then it’s suitable for sure. Anything beyond that, buy a professional one. Yes, I would still recommend it to friends or otherwise looking for one, and I would buy it again. I’m just giving my honest opinion about it and what I’ve encountered.

LarryManufacturer's catalogue

Not horrible but not way to reorder consumables

Cabinet works great with a few modifications. But good luck getting replacement filter for the dust collection system and replacement liner for the window

CustomerManufacturer's catalogue

Really not a bad product

Pretty decent buy for what you get. Yes, some of the sheet metal corners where bent and some pieces had some minor scratches, but nothing that couldn't be fixed by a competent person. Yes, the instructions are sub-par, but again, most competent people should be able to figure it out. The gun is very cheap, but I knew that and that's not why I bought the cabinet. I did have an issue with the gun, but they are supposed to be sending me another one, plus I already had one to begin with. Just be sure to seal it up very well with silicone and get the seals placed well and you shouldn't have any issues.

Waiting on media to use.

Had a good idea on how to put this cabinet together by watching the video. What I did to make it easier was to use a drift to help align the holes to put the screws in the other holes when assembling two panels together. The other thing was to put the gloves on the panel before I put that panel on the cabinet. I taped the gloves in place so they wouldn’t move when the hose clamp was installed.

Impressed

I did not buy this product for its intended purpose of sandblasting; instead, I bought it to house a wet tile saw for quiet lapidary work and to Dremel 3D prints while minimizing debris/vapor in tight spaces. I'm impressed with this company because the products I've received so far have been durable, industrial-grade materials for a fraction of the competitors price. It works so well for acoustic dampening that my child was unaware I had opened a geode while they were playing in the next room! It was enjoyable setting up; It's easy to get scratched towards the end of the build, and I would suggest applying some thick tape to some of the sharper, inside-facing corners before starting. 100% recommend!

Good unit, poor instructions. Not very clear if you speak english. Never figured out what the sealant was for. May have lost track trying to translate the broken english. Operates very well. Foot pedal operating nozzle would be very nice. Even offering an upgrade could work. Feet or casters, as an offer would be nice as would a power strip with a switch to turn light and vacuum on together. Parts did get bent during shipment but straightened easily. Overall good product.

Arrived damaged

The cabinet arrived damage had a dent on. It contacted the brand and they said they would give me a small credit which I agreed to other issue is the gloves would not fit the holes so I can’t even get them around the hose to put the clamp on seems like these gloves are for a smaller cabinet again. The brand said they were going to send me a replacement. It’s been over a month. In the meantime, I pulled the gloves off of my old cabinet, which were torn to use them till they figure out what they’re gonna do.
