This kit has very smooth motion with minimal resistance.The tolerances are surprisingly tight for the price. I_l definitely use them again for making custom saw stops.

This is a great set of bearings, rails, and ballscrew!

First of all, high 5 to the seller - my shipment arrived 2 days early on a Sunday, via FedEx - don't often see FedEx's on Sundays!The rails and bearings are well made - the bearings are shipped with retainers to hold the balls in place and sealed in plastic bags, so if a ball did get loose, you will be able to see it - none of mine were loose.The ballscrew and support ends are well-machined and fit accurately together. There is no tightness as one other reviewer suggested. The inclusion of the ball nut housing was a nice touch - other ballscrews I have purchased did not include the housing.My only criticism is the lack of technical drawings with dimensions or a table of dimensions. Happily, the RM1605 seems to be a standard and other manufacturers who supplied these dimensions for their products match this unit exactly.I will buy from them again if I need ballscrews and rails again.My 2 cents

Missing Plum Coupling

Overall met expectations at a low price, however, it did not come with the plum coupling as mentioned in the description. However, the high cost to ship for returns was more than the cost of the coupling

Incredible quality for the money

I ordered these components for a CNC router I am making. I first purchased one to see if it was of acceptable quality, then purchased two more for dual Y axis and single X axis. The packaging was excellent, each piece sealed in a plastic bag and protected from shipping damage. All the parts were there and the fit and finish outstanding. I don't have the equipment to evaluate the tolerances down to the micron level but all the holes lined up and the parts slide as one would expect.The carriages do not move on the rails without some force, primarily due to the rubber wiper on each end of the carriage to protect the ball bearings. With 4X rails and 2X carriages/rail in the Y direction, this means there is a bit of force required to move the entire assembly. I am sure the NEMA 23 stepper motors will easily overcome this force through turning the ball screw but I was surprised at the friction of the seals. That said, the assembly is so rigid that my router seems like it will have incredible precision. We will soon see!

Very rigid and works well! The rails don_ slide super easily but that_ probably just preload on the rails. I had no issues aligning them and had no issues with binding. Great for the price!

DIY Router build

I ended up buying 3 sets of these to build a machine. They are performing perfectly. Would recommend for anyone doing a home project, will update after a year or so to see how they hold up but it looks promising

Get this set while you can

All components fit well together and linear rails slide without friction or noise. This has a great value for the cost and is helping me to build a CNC router easily.

Updated. The defective rail was replaced and they work great.

Bought 4 sets of different length rails and ball screws for a cnc router build. 7 of the rails were fine but one of the 1000 mm rails was ground .5 mm wider then the other 7 so there is no way to get the bearings on it. Have contacted the seller and will update this review if it is resolved. I am a little confused because the price has now dropped by $50 also and am wondering if it is because of quality issues.Update 9/23 Defective rail was quickly replaced and all my rails are extremely smooth working now.
