The chuck is almost exactly what I was looking for, however the recession for fitting the plates is the opposite of what I saw when I was looking to order. That aside, it is a decent bit of kit that I can still use with some of my other plates. It is a good weight and with the adapter can be used on different sizes of lathe.

his is a great chuck for small to medium spindle turning and bowls up to maybe 6 inches in diameter. Maybe a little bigger but it's more for the small stuff. It holds tight, it does have dovetail Jaws so cut your tenons accordingly. I can't see spending double the cost for a bigger brand name mini chuck. This suits my needs perfectly for tons of projects.

Präzise gearbeitetes Spannfutter zum Drechseln, sehr gutes Material (C45), exakte Führung der Spannbacken. Hinten geschlossen gegen Eindringen von Spänen. Alles zu einem sehr fairen Preis. Ich kann es nur empfehlen. Einzig den Adapter musste ich umbauen, die Hülse mit M33x3,5 absägen und statt dessen ein Gewinde M14x1 in den Rest des Adapters schneiden. Einen Adapter M14x1 auf 1"x8TPI habe ich weltweit nicht gefunden, aber meine kleine Drehbank hat solch eine Spindel.
