Works great draining the oil on my seadoo. Smallest fitting drains very slow but by the time I was done changing the plugs it had finished emptying. 10/10

This is simple to operate, it functions well! The only hiccup I had with it is the top tank femelle quick connector is not accepting the male quick connector from the hose easily so I'll just leave it connected. That's the only reason I did'nt give it the 5 stars rating. Thanks :-)

This unit worked very well. I used air pressure of 100psi which extracted about 6 quarts of warm transmission fluid in only a few minutes. SPECIAL NOTE: I had to purchase a longer extraction tube of about 60" for my F-350 with the 6-speed transmission as the standard 47" tube is shorter than the dipstick.

Awesome! I agree the lid is "Tight" without adding some lubrication on the lid "O" ring... Wrong size Quick connect air fitting for USA. (just change it out with the correct type, and use a thread sealer, but do not over-tighten the fitting) This device will make difficult or impossible fluid changing jobs a walk in the park. We have a large capacity fluid extractor, but this device make it easy to capture and recover the exact amount of extracted fluid(s) The included directions are at best "helpful" but not very. (You will figure it out just fine) Pumps fluids in with about 40PSI & sucks fluids out usually requiring over 100PSI depending on the height, volume & viscosity.

Slight learning curve, worked good first time, much slower than pan drain but much less messy

I got this since my Cadillac 2.8 V6 has a top mount filter. Oil changes were not all that bad, but avoiding jacking up the car is a good thing. The first thing I found was the instructions leave something to be desired as far as using shop air. I had my compressor set at 110 PSI, which is slightly below the .8 mpa maximum (116 PSI). I found I could use the compressor to generate the vacuum and then close the valve. I had to do this several cycles over a few hours, yes hours. Don't be in a hurry if you're limited to the smallest tube like I was. I think the shop air made little difference here as I disconnected shop air and did pump it by hand at the end and didn't see much of a difference. On larger tubes the shop air would likely work better. There are several diameter tubes, my dipstick tube required the smallest one. It took some experimenting, but once I "struck oil" I pushed it in a little further and then repeated this as needed. At one point I was in too far, and the tube started to snag. I was able to wiggle and twist it and free it. My oil capacity is 5.7L or 6 quarts. After 1380 miles, I pulled out around 5.2L if I had to guess. I wasn't due for a change by miles, but wan…

Great unit and it worked exactly as described

First off if the top is too tight use a pry bar on the bottom jug handle and then one on the top handle, then unscrew the top, mine came right off. There are many different connectors and hoses to do many different vehicles and it comes with a plastic box for the connectors, I stored the hose in a plastic bag. I never used one of these before but needed a way to remove and replace some Transmission fluid on a 2022 Ford Transit instead of removing the crossmember and dropping the Transmission pan. The fill plug is accessed only under the vehicle. I removed the fill plug (Not easy to do because there isn't much room). I started the air compressor (About a 2 gallon tank) then set up the brand to extract fluid using the recommended connectors, inserted the suction hose in the fill plug and started the removal of transmission fluid, it worked perfectly. Measured the fluid removed on the jug, dumped the old fluid out wiped out the jug (the opening is big enough for me to get my arm in to clean it). I'm turning 70 years old,and this lets me change oil without having to get under my vehicles. No Jacking , no jack stands, no mess,no oil running down my arm. My daily driver is a 2006 Ram 2500 and oil filter can be replaced from under the hood. I change the oil in all my power equipment much more often. So easy.

Makes the oil change even easier.

I can do my complete oil change on my Subaru WRX with this from the top because the oil filter is also located on top. This makes it a breeze as I don't have to pull out the ramps and chocks and a sheet of cardboard to scoot under on. It would be even better if there were plugs for both ends of the reinforced hose so that I won't have to worry about residual oil dripping out, but that would be a luxury. I am very happy with it, and the price is also the best I could find for this (good) quality.

Needs better instructions. Otherwise works great once you figure it out all on your own. The one shutoff valve doesn’t indicate which way is opened or closed which you only figure out through trial and error.

The top wouldn't open

The top wouldnt open to pour any fluids into the container. I was changing thick gear oil on a friend's Subaru. This thing took forever to suck up all the bottles. Filling was fairly slow and took a while. Maybe due to the heavy gear oil, but I assumed that this would be able to handle it. The pressure reading is all wrong. The safety valve opens way before it reaches the "red" zone. Very disappointed. I felt that my manual pressure filler is better than this pneumatic one

Worked excellent! Pulled the oil out no problem. Nice capacity barrel. I used my air compressor & am happy with the result. Thank you!

Simple and clean.

Worked so well! There was not a stray drop of oil during the whole operation. If you have a dipstick, this is the way to change your oil. Took maybe 5 minutes start to finish, no jacking up the car or putting it on ramps. Probably saved $200 on a single service.

Finally got to use this for the first time last week. I was quite impressed with all the extra hoses & fittings it came with. It worked exceptionally well and I was surprised to see how much of the old oil it extracted. The hoses/fittings appear to be of good quality. Very satisfied 😀

Worked perfectly on my Jaguar F-Type

Worked great on my Jaguar F-Type. The hose was the right length, and the adapter fit nice and snug into the oil extract port, unlike the other ones I tried. Those didn't work because the adapter wouldn't fit or the hose wasn't long enough. It was my first time doing my own oil change, and it honestly made the whole process easy. The container seems like a good size for other cars too, and it feels sturdy and like it should last and was great value.

I used this pump to remove oil from a rear diesel RV engine. I combined the tubes so the smallest tube would reach the bottom of the oil reservoir. Once I did that, it pumped the preheated oil out easily!!

I bought this as a solution to change my oil without draining the oil pan. First off, it doesn't have an electric pump like others. It's built very robust and durable. It has a manual pump that you can use to pull the vacuum. It has a connection that can be quick connected with an air compressor (better option less work).

Works even better than I had hoped!

Using my small air compressor, it sucked out the 5.28 quarts of oil from our Audi Q5 in just over five minutes. Just make sure the oil is warm. Now that I have it, future oil changes will cost $65-70 as opposed to the $220 the dealer wants. Do the math, then buy one!

I bought this extractor to change oil on my vehicles. When i connected the correct tube to fit my vehicles dipstick and operated the pump, it couldn't even draw the oil up and into the holding tank. I tried to lower the holding tank. tried different dipstick tubes, tried manual operation than switched back to pneumatic operation. It couldn't pull the oil out of my vehicles dipstick. I took a bucket of water and inserted the dipstick tube into it and turned on the pneumatic operation, and SURPISE! it worked. BUT when I went back to trying it on my vehicle, it just couldn't pull up the oil through the dipstick tube. I would not recommend this product if you wanted to change oil on your vehicles. Maybe you'll have better luck.

OIL CHANGES MADE SO EASY!!

I found this extractor easy to use, very straight forward, seems to be really good quality - certainly fit for purpose. This extractor makes it so easy to change my oil for my cars. The days of crawling under my car for an oil change have ended.

Just Brillant.

I can't explain how brilliant this tool is. I used it to do 3 services on Seadoos. One service on a sports car and also to drain fuel from a tank. Works great and has been a game-changer. Highly recommend. May even buy a second one so I can do vehicles at the same time. Also have only used the hand pump side, as it is plenty fast enough.

Doesn’t work that well. Took 45 minutes to get 2 litres of oil out of my truck and there was still another 5 to go. Just disappointed. Ended up just pulling drain plug to finish the job.

Heavy Duty

This seems very well made. I wish it came with a holder for the tubes, I picked up an old tent case from a thrift shop and that did the trick. I hope it last for many many years. Time will tell. Very please with the purchase.

Extractor works great for about any application! I especially like the flexibility to use either the built-in hand pump or (better yet) attach to an air compressor to eliminate any hand pumping. Super easy to use, holds a lot of volume. Eliminates the need to jack up and crawl under my Mercedes or my Audi to do my own oil changes in my garage. Works on I/O boat engines as well. I highly recommend if you do your own oil changes.

Use it to drain compressor oil, lawnmower, after sucking up I pulled out drain plug see how much left not even single drop. spill in secondary containers. ending up getting to more. This does NOT leak from the bottom

Many reviews show this product leaking from the bottom, the bottom is sealed and will NOT leak. It holds suction and works very well. I only see that the tubes are a bit stiff, that may be because I was in a cold environment. Very durable and this will last a very long time.

Great for your oil changes

Bought for our 2017 Land Rover Discovery. Super easy to use and store. Worth the money if you do your own oil changes. Does take all 8.5 quarts that my car holds. Quality is good with no issues or leaks. Highly recommend for anyone that does not want to crawl under a car to change the oil.

Great for Intake Change! Awesome Shop Tool!

Used this to suck down the radiator on a SBC 350, in preparation for an intake change from factory to an Edelbrock 2104. Simple and easy to use. Put tube in and pump a couple of times to start the flow. This tank system is FAR SUPERIOR to a "Jiggle Tube". It provides a strong vacuum with each pump to pull liquids fast. The radiator was bone dry in about 15 mins with no waste, splash or drips and only half of the container filled. Plenty of capacity for the job. Love the rubber cap to seal the tank for contamination free storage and eventual reuse! It clearly states: NOT INTENDED FOR USE WITH FUEL. In case you were wondering.
