bought this for the back of my 2025 pathfinder rock creek after putting a storage box on the roof - this made access easy and it makes the car look more rugged - I kept it on after removing the storage box makes for great aesthetic. it clunks when going over speed bumps just as a hitch would

Holding up well. Installed an extra bit of safety, and roof access. Starting to fade after a few months but still a good value.

Stabil und nützlich

Wir haben am PickUp eine Vierkant Aufnahme. Um in die montierte Kabine zu kommen brauchten wir alternativ einen Klapptritt bzw Camping Hocker. Dank der stabilen Stufe von der Marke sind wir darauf jetzt nicht mehr angewiesen. So schwebt die Stufe auch über dem teilweise unebenen Untergründen und wir laufen nicht mehr Gefahr mit einem kibbeligen Tritt umzufallen was früher leider schon passiert ist. Einzig eine Schweißnaht war etwas dick gearbeitet, so dass es zunächst nicht reibungslos passte. Minimales Abschleifen hat aber das Problem gelöst. Daher nur 4 der 5 Sterne. Der Sicherungsbolzen sitzt ebenfalls sehr stramm, so dass wir für uns eine Alternative nutzen. Aber das ist ja kein Mangel. Wir würden die Stufe wieder kaufen, da auch die gelochte Trittfläche Wasser und Schnee abtropfen lässt was Camping Tritte meist nicht gewährleisten.

Good, low-cost step.

Certainly not a "luxurious" step. The rubberized area is rather small, and the whole step is built of lighter gage steel than you would expect a trailer hitch to be made out of; But, it is adequate and seems to be well made, with good welds and tolerances and powder-coat paint. So I give it Five Stars for being exactly what is purports to be and at a bargain price compare to the other steps available. This step would probably not provide much "protection" in any sort of serious collision; more like a warning crunch it you back into something or someone runs into you. I already had a locking device and an anti-rattle clamp, and I think you will really need some sort of anti-rattle device or the step wobbles a little in the hitch receiver. It is certainly strong and stable enough to step on as getting into my cargo area or reaching things on the roof of my Honda Pilot. Satisfied with the purchase,

Perfect Drop Step

I'm 5 ft 9in tall. In order to load and unload groceries in the cooler in the back of our truck I was climbing onto the bumper and balancing precariously. This step is the perfect height for access. The platform is wide enough for both feet. It puts the step closer to the tailgate where I need it because it has no added bumper. I highly recommend this for anyone who needs a boost.

Woe to the person who rear ends you!

This thing is pretty cool. Doesn't extend too far back but far enough you can easily get you foot on it without your toes hitting the bumper/hitch mount. A slight drop would be cool of an inch or 2 without added an adapter (it will stick back further then) but it was even better than I expected overall. Solid and heavy. Woe to the person who rear ends you!

The hitch step is quite robust and built to last. However, I've misplaced the lock key—might there still be a way to order a replacement for the same key?

Disappointed 5 star as they show good reviews first

The thing looks great and built tough as it could be. But unfortunately the shank is to short and not thick enough to give it a good fit and it is extremely loose in the receiver. So they send you a jimmy rigged solution the u-bolt nuts and washers you have to dig out a ratchet to remove two nuts every time ya Wana remove and out on your rv or other trailer hitch. Extremely disappointing cuz it looks great just. Needs a re design I would not bother buying unless they redesign it with a thicker and longer shank I will return products are great but this priduct sucks Any hitch I have ever had I leave in all the time and never rattles and shakes around
