Sound deadening for a great price

Excellent product and the cost versus the other 'name' brands is excellent. I've bought the largest box twice and covered just about everything I needed to and still have enough for future projects. Highly recommend for the value and its as good as the rest with different names. Spend more money on thenothers if you have it to waste if you want to, but don't say you weren't warned.

While I haven't started the interior firewall of a C10. Looked the stuff over and peeled some back and that wasn't a fight, while not stupid tacky seems good. Decent thickness and similar to other temperature barrier and noise products seen and used before.

Car Sound Deadening Mat, 200mil foil-covered foam

Seems to work pretty decently for what it is. Clean the surface you want to stick it to *properly* and it *will* stick nicely. The foil layer on top will tear if you are rough with it, but I think is a good balance of "thin enough to bend/be ductile but thick enough to provide a nice layer to protect the foam underneath/reflect heat". I used this stuff, as well as some of the 200 mil butyl/foil/foam sound deadening to provide insulation and sound deadening on an old tractor and am ordering more to do other tractors after I gave this stuff a try. It's maybe on the thin side for most of the lower frequencies that a tractor application has, but works well enough for what I need. It definitely made a huge difference with my blower fan noise and getting rid of rattles in the tractor cab. Time will tell how it lasts, but it seems like it should have a decent lifespan.

Car insulation mats

I was a bit sceptical when they arrived,as I didn't think they were very adhesive. But these panels take a good hold on contact. I used them all under the floor of my motorhome. In the engine bay of car(away from hot turbo). Also in the cupboards floor in motorhome for noise damping. Very good product.

Excellent material, great price

In my old Chevy, I was looking for an underlayment material that would enable some sound deadening, as well as insulate. I didn't need anything crazy expensive, just needed something that will keep the cabin noise to a minimum. This stuff is easy to work with and not so crazy tacky that you can pull up slightly and make adjustments before pressing it down hard. Works exactly as advertised.

Just a quick review on the product, it’s easy to use cut it with sharp scissors. moulds well sticks very well. you can’t ask for more with this product. I am conscious of weight so I've done minimal treatment, opting for the boot, rear floor, parcel shelf firewall and front backside wheel arches, and the immediate deadening of the noise transfer of into the main cabin in phenomenal!!! I have a sub in the boot also and whilst improving the tone inside, which is seemingly deeper/smoother with a huge reduction in vibration and rattles, it's also quiter outside, so I can enjoy without bothering those around me who may not have my take in music! I have a surge tank with dual fuel pumps in front of the passenger footwell which was quite noisy, but just one sheet on the passenger firewall has really taken the edge of it so it still sounds sporty, but without that higher pitch whir ofthe electric motors. 2 boxes added just 18kgs to the car, yet a far more comfortable ride. Thinking about one more to cover the inner doors.

Heat shield

This did a great job stopping the heat coming from my firewall and floorboard. I don't know if it helped deaden sound, that is not why I bought it. It is staying attached even in 90+ heat we are having, I cleaned the floorboard with alcohol before applying. I only gave 3 stars for easy to use because it is not easy, but not because of any design flaw, just because it is just tedious work cutting all the pieces to fit. Use some other material to make a pattern. It is very well made product.

I actually really liked this product I’ve never used sound deadening before but $60 to cover my entire trunk the sides the top and spare wheel well great price I’d even buy it again for more I bought NVX black deadening and basically the same NVX slightly thicker but more costly for way less. I’m starting to really like the brand 💯

Good product

Better than expected. Automotive sound mat can be expensive, but this product was reasonably priced. The peel & stick tiles had good adhesion. If I had to be critical of the product, I think a thicker butyl layer would be better. Recommend and I will buy again.
