Have used it together with a pillar drilling machine. - So far it meets my requirements. One disadvantage is that it is a bit high - i.e. the pillar drilling machine should have a fairly long column. The height between the strut and the drill is limited.

Diyer

The cranks are hard to turn and not smooth at all. I found paint in the ways that I will clean out with acetone. It seems like it is catching on something at the same position of the crank handle.

cant beat it for the price

for the price, this is a win. overall construction seems great and pretty well finished. only weak point that I can see is where the screw meets the live jaw. it doesn't seem too solid of a connection. screw seems really smooth at least. Plan to use this as a fixturing jig for when I use a mag drill, so its going to get beat up

Finition médiocre

ajustage médiocre, les plans sur lesquels les différentes parties doivent coulisser sont ajustées très grossièrement, il faut déjà démonter et gratter la peinture sur ces parties. Limer les cales d'épaisseur pour enlever les bavures. bien graisser. Malgré cela, il est difficile voire impossible de réduire les jeux en gardant un coulissement libre. Ca devrait faire l'affaire pour des travaux sans grande précision.

ce produit fonctionne très très mal. Je ne le recommande pas du tout. C'est une insulte. Et pour utiliser avec CNC machine, on repassera. On est loin dans les excréments...

Le livreur pas au top

Attention aux grandes pièces !

Si l'on possède une perceuse à colonne et que l'on fixe l'étau avec la poignée de réglage de profondeur devant soi, que l'on a donc la poignée de réglage latérale à droite et la vis de serrage de l'étau du côté gauche, et si vous avez une grande pièce à fraiser, la colonne de la foreuse est dans le chemin ... Il est impossible d'usiner la pièce ! Si on essaie de faire un quart de tour à l'étau pour que la pièce se trouve longitudinalement, soit la vis de serrage ou la poignée de réglage se trouve dans l'espace de la colonne ! La poignée de serrage de l'étau serait mieux placée du même côté que la poignée de réglage de profondeur !

Very low quality. Moving part are either wobbly, or get stuck every few millimeters. Cannot be mounted on a drill press, becouse even if you manage to, the handles will interfere with operation.

Cannot be mounted on a drill press, even though it is in its name. Angle setting is very hard, and even if you tighten everything, the angle changes while you are working on the piece

Belle machine en apparence, la translation des mors supérieur est insuffisante, il a fallu que je bricole un système pour augmenter leur course, maintenant je peut dire que je peut l'utiliser sans problème. il ne me reste qu'a la fixer sur la base de ma perceuse à colonne.

Very solid vise, the checkered jaws holds everything securely! Very happy with it, good quality!

Vice

It’s good. It has bolts to lock out each axis which is nice. It is not precise at all and has loads of backlash but it’s enough for lining up holes on a drill press. The dials on the handles aren’t accurate at all tho so can’t be used like a mill but overall for lining up parts it’s pretty good

Preis/Leistung okay

Für den Preis ist der Schraubstock völlig okay. Wer mit hoher Genauigkeit arbeiten ausführen muss, sollte ein qualitativ besseres Gerät kaufen (etwas zu viel Spiel) aber für den allgemeinen Hausgebrauch reicht es aus. Es ist stabil und ziemlich gut zu handhaben. Für grobe Fräsarbeiten bestens zu gebrauchen.

Added two easily removed pieces of Wood to raise it up for easier turning. ( It's a "Knuckle Duster they way it arrives) the adjust handle hits the Work Surface and that gets Old if a big Jaws adjustment is needed and its clamped down. Main use is for my Welding Table but its just nice having a Mobile Vise. System would not upload Photo's.....

Tolle Arbeitserleichterung

Hätte ich sowas nur schon früher gehabt. Man ist plötzlich viel flexibler beim händischen Bearbeiten. Die Winkelverstellung ist zwar in einem Bereich - nahe 90° - etwas schwergängig, aber sonst OK. Einrastlöcher alle 15° erleichtern die Winkelfeststellung. Ich bin begeistert vom Arbeiten mit dem Ding.

Quality 4" vise. Can't beat it for the price. Got it on clearance. Have it mounted on the 5" bench top drill press, also made by the brand. No complaints here.

Please don’t buy this product. It’s crooked and doesn’t sit flat in your drill press table. Price might be cheap but you’ll end up collecting expensive paper weight in your shop.

work piece get loose after clamped tie

Work piece get loose after tied down. The clamp bar is hard to move to clamp work pieces. I have use bench vises.. for decades since 1980s. I have many in my shop, and I never had a such lousy made vise.
