Well worth it!
I bought one unit to verify quality and get a better idea of the use case. Short version: I’ve already placed another order. The cushioned strips on the top and bottom faces are handy to keep items from sliding around as well as to keep the case steady on a table or in a stack of racks. I’ll soon know how well they stack when my next order comes in. The recessed area in the top between the strips is great for keeping small items from rolling off. As a matter of fact, it’s a perfect tray for the rack screws and washers during assembly or rearrangement. The butterfly clasps on the lids keep them on snugly. Rivets and other accessories could easily be added on the interior of the case for cable management or atachment of light non-rack components if you’re careful to observe and not interfere with how the case is constructed. I’m very happy with its adherence to standard care measurements while still offering opportunities for customization. This is my first review. If I’m able to update with a completed use case picture and/or comments on durability, I will.

Really good case, for the Price
Solide et qualitatif, mais quelques défauts de conception
J'utilise ce rack 4U pour sécuriser mon matériel et le trimballer de concert en concert. Côté protection, rien à redire: c'est costaud et ça inspire confiance. Les petites pochettes de rangement situées dans les couvercles sont super pratiques pour stocker des adaptateurs ou de petits câbles. Par contre, en condition de live, deux détails viennent un peu gâcher l'expérience. D'abord, si votre configuration vous oblige à poser le rack à l'horizontale, attendez-vous à ce qu'il glisse, car il n'y a aucun patin en caoutchouc prévu pour cette position. Ensuite, le vrai point noir reste la profondeur des couvercles: elle est trop juste. Impossible de laisser ses entrées/sorties XLR branchées sur la console ou le matos avant de refermer. Il faut systématiquement tout débrancher pour fermer les capots, ce qui est frustrant quand on cherche à gagner du temps sur les montages et démontages de scène.
