Compatibile con torni da legno 1" x 8 TPI: Questo mandrino in legno a 4 griffe ha un diametro esterno di 10 cm e una filettatura interna M33 x 3,5 mm. L'adattatore TPI 1" x 8 si adatta a mandrini da tornio 1" x 8 TPI, ideale per la maggior parte dei torni da legno medi e grandi. Set mandrino multiuso da 5 pezzi: Include ganasce rotonde piccole, ganasce rotonde grandi, ganasce a gradino, ganasce a perno e ganasce piatte. Regolazione a 4 griffe tramite chiave a T, con viti per legno per pezzi grandi e piatti.

Great device 4 inch 4 Jaw chuck
I bought the 4 inch self catering wood turning chuck set in September 2026. I was given my fathers 20 year old belt driven lathe after I retired and looked forward to starting my turning experience, something I enjoyed as a wood work teacher. After watching many videos about turning bowls an other pieces I realised it would prove difficult with the equipment I had. By purchasing the 4 jaw chuck I now have a way to attempt the thing I have been watching for 10 months or more. I was pleasantly surprised when the kit arrived with multiple jaw options. At this time I have only used the default jaws as I develop skills unused for 40 years, and look forward to further experimentation as my skills improve. Gred Joyce Perth

tightening requires two hands
I have been using the chuck now for few weeks and find it rather good quality and proper tool for my lathe. Only actual complaint is the need for both hands when tightening the jaws. Holding the work piece at the same time might be a bit of a challange. I must say though that for my needs half of the jaws I have no use for. So it would have been - propably - a good idea to buy just the chuch and then take a closer look at additional jaws to be purchased. It also seems to be a bit slippery meaning the jaws do not catch the wood properly. It might be a user fault also so I would not automatically reduce the number of stars on that.

Add functionality to a wood turning lathe.
Great addition to my mini wood turning lathe. Exceptional value for money for a kit that includes a variety of attachments that open up the capabilities of a lathe. Build quality is good, feels well balanced, easy to use and doesn't intrude into the bed length excessively. Very happy with this purchase.
Solid for a beginner
I'm new to wood turning, so I can't really compare this to an expensive chuck, but this has served me very well so far. Would buy again

This is an amazing chuck for the price, far better than expected. smooth movement and firm holds. Only complaint is that it does not have set screw to prevent unwanted loosening if in reverse, this is a a necessary safety issue.

Get what you pay for...
I bought this set given I was early in turning. Arrived and looked great, nice case, chuck shiny and heavy - good deal? Not so fast, no instructions with anything (minor issue). The chuck failed on the first use, locked up and could not open the jaws. Reached out to the brand and got nothing over an extended period of time other than "we are looking into it and will be back soon." Soon transitioned to weeks, eventually getting two videos on how to take it apart - really? That was the extent of the help rather than immediately sending me a replacement chuck which would have resolved the issue (assuming it worked). Spending more money!

llegó pronto, en buen estado con su maletín, todo bien ordenado. Tiene buena pinta, sujeta muy bien las piezas. Mi torno es antiguo y le tuve que poner otro adaptador menor de una pulgada, pues mi eje es de 3/8, y queda bien sujeto.

Lots of issues
The jaws shake like crazy. They are very loose. If you tighten down to the end they have a habit of falling out of their guides and have to be put back in manually and aligned again. Tolerance is an after thought. Comparing to my Record Power chuck they are worlds apart. Big difference in price and it shows. you get what you pay for. The various jaws are good, it's cheap for what it is but don't buy for the quality. Some if the jaws aren't numbers so it took some trial and error to figure out which was which and I numbered them myself.
