My yard is rough and decided to try this as a solution. I no longer feel beat up when I’m done mowing my 2 acres. Takes a little tweaking to adjust the tension in the springs.

What a difference! My back and kidneys thank you. Noticed an immediate difference. My lawn isn't crazy bumpy, but the suspension really smooths out the ride. Installation required drilling two new holes (Hustler FasTrak).

This has helped the ride on my toro timecutter max.I didnt have to drill any holes.But i did have to use 4 different bolts i happened to have .For those of you who are einstiens offspring and complain about how hard it is to get the bolts in and hold them to tighten them because of clearance issues.If you remove the 4 chrome allen screws on the side ...the top and bottom come apart and make it alot easier to assemble.

Worth it... needed a few adjustments

Worked perfectly on a JD325 zero turn Mounted the seat to the top plate Mounted the base side to mower flip plate. Extended the wire for the safety switch and put it all together. Done!! Should have done this 2 years ago Now need to raise the mower push handles higher.

Easy install and nice fitment

So far so good! Was able to sneak the seat wire through holes in it without splicing wires. Does raise the seat a few inches but I also gained at least three inches back which I needed.

Wow, where has this been? I have the roughest yard I have ever seen. This suspension kit smooths it out nicely. I just float along through the bumps, no more getting beat up while cutting grass. My lower back thanks me. I had to drill a couple of holes, but other than that easy install.

Great seat

Great ride. I installed this on my Bad Boy Avenger and it made a big difference in the ride. My lawn is rough in spots but this seat took the kidney bashing ride and made mowing comfortable. Fully adjustable for weight and not too hard to install. Highly recommend.

Installed on my Bad Boy Maverick. Installation was straightforward and pretty easy with a little help from my wife and no modifications were needed. The seat switch hooked up and the included wire extension was not needed but it was nice that it was included. The ride is amazing now with way more comfort.

Finally an economical solution for my low back pain

I have wanted a suspension seat for my mower for years. I live in the country so I have a lot to mow, and a lot of ot is driven over by farm machinery. I mow wide open on my Grasshopper. The last time after I installed the suspension I only bottomed out once. Also now I have forward and rear seat adjustments. The suspension. And seat from grasshopper was about $1000. This was about $100. I had to drill and fit, but I had it on in less than an hour.

Bought for my dad for his Bad Boy mower and he loves it. Yeah you have to raise your control handles due to the height change in seating but the comfortable ride makes it worth it! Santa is bringing one for my husband's Bad boy mower this Christmas!

Great purchase for the price, it took a little bit of modification to install but nothing major. Fit just fine on my gravely hd mower. Built with heavy duty quality material.

This took a little bit of time to put on otherwise it works great & you have support when cutting grass. You have to adjust it to the terrain. Would highly recommend this kit. Great value for the money.

I bought the seat first and then upgraded my suspension I had the old style just springs before this on but this is perfect much better worth every penny. My old 2014 Gravely ZT XL48 is better than ever.

Hélas pour mon cas personnel, cela ne suffisait pas; J'ai du faire un petit chassis intermédiaire. Quand on sait un peu bricoler, ce n'est pas insurmontable. La suspension est vraiment très agréable et ça change la vie!

Niestety, w moim przypadku to nie wystarczyło; musiałem wykonać małą ramę pośrednią. Jeśli masz trochę zdolności manualnych, nie jest to nie do pokonania. Universal Seat Suspension Kit Is Awesome!

I wasn't paying 600 plus dollars for a suspension seat from Ariens for my Ikon X 52" zero turn mower. This seemed like it was worth a shot for the price and man I'm happy I did it. Great quality at an unbeatable price. My mower rides nice and smooth now and I purchased the one with the slides so I can move my seat foreword and back which I wasn't able to do before. I would highly recommend this product 👌🏼

Great product

I installed this on my Husqvarna MZ61 and it was fairly easy to install. It will add about 4 inches to your seat height so in my particular install if you are under 5'10" your feet will dangle. I had to raise my handles a little bit since pulling for reverse was a bit tight. As far as the suspension seat it is a night and day difference with the harder bumps where i cut. I would say i went from old school go cart to riding in a car while cutting grass. Definitely worth the money,

John Deere 1023e seat suspension modification

Very versatile mounting bolt patterns. It came with bolts in case you need to use them. You may need to have knowledge of how to fabricate brackets and some circumstances. I use this for my John Deere 1023e because my suspension on the seat was very hard on my back. Once I got everything mounted up and fabricated this was great! I have a very bumpy lawn and I'm on the tractor for long hours so this was a good modification.

I waited 2 years to buy this because I was skeptical it would actually be helpful and because of the comments about installation. Sad I waited so long because it really makes a huge difference for my back! It works better than expected! The installation on my cub cadet zero turn wasn’t difficult. The holes lined up but the seat sensor is right in the way of the middle bar of the suspension kit. I watched some YouTube videos and figured out a way around the problem. Overall highly recommend!!

Much smoother ride but install was tricky. Some holes didn't line up, the seat safety switch won't fit with the bracket. It works great though and saves my back

Night and day…a must for zero turn mowers.

Folks, first allow me to share that I have purchased several products from the brand and the one time I reached out to customer services they went above and beyond. Now let’s talk about this product…I’m thankful that I purchased it as I said “Night and day”. I’ve read reviews and comments for similar products and this one does falls into the same kind of - add more washers or spacers. Or you can perhaps trim the bolts that come with it. But, once you figure out what fits your application (zero turn lawnmower or other) this thing is the real deal. The ride is super smooth and easy on your back. BTW, you do sit higher so will take a few to make adjustments. But overall I’m grateful, happy, impressed. Ready for summer. Sláinte, ER.

My property land is very bumpy. Thanks to huge country moles and other land features. Before installing this seat , I got tossed around. Having to mow for close to 3 hours. My ride now, is much more comfortable. Thanks to this seat. I go up & down, the seat cushions the big bumps.

Very Well Made

I've never had back problems, but my mower came with a fixed seat, bolted directly to a thick metal plate, that is hinged to allow access to the battery. It took me a while to realize that every time I used the mower, my lower back felt like I need to go to the ciropractor for an adjustment. When I discovered that these "seat floats" were available, I had to try one. I looked at dozens of models before deciding on this one. The main reason I picked this one is because it has springs and gas struts, not just one or the other. I think just springs would be too bouncy, like Oliver Douglas riding the tractor on 'Green Acres'. Anyway, this one bolted right on. I used all the existing holes in the mower seat, which bolted to the slots on this unit, and they aligned perfectly. Then I bolted the unit, with the seat attached, to the seat plat on the mower. There was plenty of nuts, bolts and washers too. It took about 30 minutes and one band-aid. Something on the mower had a burr that got a knuckle. As for how it performs...I've mowed the yard three times since I bought it and I can say that I no longer feel like I need to go to the ciropractor after mowing the yard. It is very comfortable.…

Made mowing so much more comfortable. Took a little while to get used to the new taller seat height and finding which mounting holes made the most sense meant a couple mount/dismount cycles, but ended up using both the factory rails and the rails on this let me slide the seat further back to a more comfortable position, and the spring setup keeps my back from getting jarred on my rough ground. .
