Gutes Material

Der Schraubstock besteht aus einem guten Material (vergüteter Stahl) und ist mechanisch gut verarbeitet. Der Planschliff ist ebenfalls gut. Gut einsetzbar für ein genaues Arbeiten. Preislich könnte er einen Ticken niedriger (in den 60ern) sein aber noch noch okay. Insgesamt Gut 👍

Perfekter Schraubstock!

Great value!

Super value for the money. Jaws came ground dead even, surface finishes on exposed surfaces was mostly immaculate. Seems to be accurate in all the important dimensions. There was a fair bit of grit in the mechanism and a very rough finish on the lead screw and nut. I chucked the lead screw in the lathe and ran a file over it to clean the burrs up, and did similar with the nut. Once cleaned up it moves very smoothly. retaining nut on the lead screw locks in place with a grub screw, directly onto the threads (!!) I was able to get it off, but this isn't a great design. A thrust bearing would have been a nice touch too, but what's here works. Overall very worth the money, and a great tool once it's had a cursory cleanup

Well made, and priced right.

I already had a 3"vise on my mill and wanted another that was a little bigger. The quality of the 3" was very good, so I bought it's bigger brother. Shipping was very quick, and I got it installed and trammed in. I have not used it yet, but do not expect any issues. Now I just need a rotary table.

Como la recomendó Michel, del canal TR Pressicion Machining... la pedí. Me ha parecido espectacular, no soy muy fan de las bases giratorias, pero esta pesa mas que la propia mordaza aunque en la imagen no se ve. Es super fuerte. Gracias Michel, lo que dices va misa.

Buen producto y buena calidad, lo uso para una fresadora llevo poco tiempo usándolo pero la verdad es que va increíble lo recomiendo.

Misser in kwaliteitscontrole

Aan één kant was het sleufgat voor de bevestiging niet bruikbaar door een gietfout. Deze zat half dicht. Eerst open moeten frezen. Maar de klem is wel onwaarschijnlijk goedkoop dus dit soort missers in de kwaliteitscontrole moet ik maar voor lief nemen denk ik. Verder een prima klem. Ik heb hem al meerdere keren gebruikt voor freeswerk en zwaar boorwerk.

Article déjà utilisé ?

Ma note n'est pas que pour l'étau, en effet ce dernier est très qualitatif, bien usiné et ajusté. J'en suis très satisfait. Cependant, il semble déjà avoir été utilisé. J'ai retrouvé quelques copeaux, et une marque de perçage dans le fond de ce dernier ( plus qu'une marque d'ailleurs, un trou sur le filetage). S'il n'était pas aussi lourd, j'aurais demandé un retour ou un remplacement, mais au final cela ne semble pas modifier les fonctions de ce dernier, notamment grâce à sa qualité de fabrication.

the vice is HD and machined well for the money its amazing. I will note to the buyer. the crank that comes with the vice Falls off. when I have some time I will drill and tap a spot for a set screw but well worth the purchase.

Good small mill vice for much less money than the pro brands. ground surfaces are within the tolerances you would expect. Some cost savings have been taken like hidden surfaces under fixed and moving jaws are not ground. If you have the means to grind or scrape these, then a very good vice can be had for small cost and a little effort.

Very well built. Smooth operation as it is now. We will see if it keeps its precision over the next little while.

Built heavier than the drill press!

We bought the largest new grizzly belt drive drill press they make. We bought this vise about the same time. The reason is we got tired of those little tiny hold-nothing vises you see everywhere for drill presses. I have to say, this thing is built much heavier than the grizzly drill press. It actually won’t tolerate any bs from the grizzly. It will just sit there and hold metal pieces at any angle WITHOUT being secured to the drill press table. Because this heavy bstrd is NOT going anywhere in a belt drive drill press. For these reasons, i would actually rate it much higher quality than the pos grizzly drill press! It’s impossible to go wrong with this. For the reasons above, I would suppose this vise would do just fine on a mill for entry level machining.

Great value for money.

Very impressive for the price. No. It’s probably not up to the high precision of some more expensive professional milling vices, but it’s smoothly operative, very cleanly machined, seems immensely strong and robust, with no problems from the clamp thread. The opening is larger than advertised - mine opens to just over 120 mm and nit the q— mm as advertised, which is a bonus. It’s surprisingly heavy! Mine weights over 20 pounds. The only minor issue is the instruction booklet…. If you can understand a word of it, you’re better than me! The words are English, but not in any order that makes and intelligible sense. Lost in translation, I guess!

Quality control issues

I ordered two vises in hopes they were close to the same height so I could hold one long piece of aluminum with the two vises. Height difference was almost 1mm.

Overall is a good buy. I would prefer a lower profile for my milling machine. Straight flat surfaces. For a garage work is pretty decent. Good price also.

Petit problème d'équerrage entre le mors fixe et les patins centreurs qui s'engagent dans la rainure de la table. Il y avait 5 /100 iéme de faux équerrage sur la longueur du mors qui fait 120 mm, j'ai dû bricoler les patins pour rectifier le problème.
