Pretty good except for mounting holes

The set up was easy. The base is adjustable so you can move it into the position you need. It's a little loose fitting with the pipes but once you add wall it gets a little better but not to much. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because the wall/barrier mounting holes can't hold a lot of weight and stretch a lot. I can see this tearing easily. Simple fix was getting a grommet tool and adding aluminum grommets to the top holes. So a little money out of pocket but should help make it last. Shared photos of before and after.

Very functional, durability may be measured in a few years and not in decades.

PRO's : These work well for screening off an area for welding. They're easy to move for set-up/tear-down around a workshop. CON's : The mounting of the screens to the frames with the supplied zip-ties seems like its a good way to actually tear the screens over the long term, and the metal frames themselves are flimsy and feel like they'll need replacing too over the medium term. Having said that, I'm writing this review 8 months after getting them and they're still standing, but I only use them occasionally.

Great for many uses and quick easy setup

This may be the easiest thing I've ever had to assemble out of a box. Super quick setup. I think it took the most time putting the zipties on the curtains. I love how you can attach all 3 curtains together if desired! I went with yellow curtains because I didn't want a darkening or shadows inside the work area. I would suggest to the manufacturer to reinforce the curtain eyelets better. The curtains are tight and heavy. I worry about them tearing with use but hopefully they will hold up. Props to whoever fit all that neatly in a box.

Welding screen you get what you pay for

I can understand the screen is shipped in pieces you assemble so the shipping box and cost is low. But after assembling the screen it is very wobbly. I put a weight on one of the stand so it won't blow over so easy. Well small gust of wind blew it over and broke the weld. I'll have to weld the stand to the corner piece. It's very obvious the weld is a poor weld and did not penetrate the corner piece. This is the first time I used this screen. I've only had it for 2 weeks. Would I recommend this, NO.

Works well, but...

Overall I am fairly happy with this welding screen wall, however it could definitely use a few minor improvements. The feet do not stay straight while moving it across the shop for, they twist easily, even with the thumb screws very tight, causing the panels to fall over. My fix for this will be to drill all the way through the other side of the frame where the screws are at and use a line bolt so they cannot freely twist anymore. My only other complaint is how the curtains are installed, there are very thin zip ties included which simply go through preset holes in the curtain and wrap around the frame. The holes are not well reinforced, and show immediate signs of stretching, and the zip ties just fell a little tool flimsy. I will be adding tarp grommets to the holes to reenforce them to avoid tearing out easily, and I will be replacing the zip ties with bailing wire or sneering else a bit stronger. Other than that, I am quite satisfied with this welding wall, as it does a good job. It blocks sparks from grinding and cutting, and it provides a small but effective safety barrier for others in the shop. Seems to be fine; the panels are darker than expected, and the wheels are too puny for a fabrication shop.

It's light duty, but ok for the price.

Seems good for the price. It will be fine for what I'm need it for. Definitely light duty. My guess is in time I'll be replacing the cable ties that holds the curtain and reenforcing the holes in the curtain. It rolls really well on the casters.

Great protection

The screens work very well to shield others while I’m welding. It is easily moved.

Nice curtain

I wish it had a more stable base. I added to the existing holes for zip ties so I had about twice as many zip ties holding it to the frame. Does what it needs to.

Is very inexpensive. Puts together easily. Has lockable wheels and was just what we wanted.

Works fine, sorta flimsy but still 5 stars as these welding curtains are a great price and I've used mine alot and they're holding up perfect for the shop at home to contain welding Flash and grinding debris. Would buy again for sure.

Ties are cheap and break or cut the plastic, tip easy if leg gets kicked. Would be good if legs locked into place vs swivel. Otherwise seen to function.

Great Curtains for the money

These curtain are a good quality for the price. They can be used individually or secured together. I would have given the quality a 5 only that the curtain gromet holes were not steel gromet re-enforced. I added my own tarp gromets before assembly.

Good for the price, but not good without probable future modification. The welds on the unit are horrible, they will most likely break in a couple of years wheeling the screens around. The system to interlock the panels sucks really bad and are a pain to use. I don't want to undo 2 to 4 pipe sections to connect to the main middle screen every time I want them together and vice versa. The wheel locks are good enough. I only think this unit is remotely worth it because you probably already have a welder, if you are buying this product you can fix it. The screens themselves however are good thick fire resistant material. This is the cheapest unit I could find for the price. And anything that's wrong is fixable. The actual screens are definitely fire resistant I was using angle angle grinder for probably 15 hrs or so right next to the panels and none of them melted, so I personally don't think cheated out on the screen material. Overall decent for the price. I've been using it since August 12th. Written on 12/14/2024
