Purchased August 2026. The one star is not for the product itself. The suspension is awesome. Helps with back pain. Much better ride. The 1 star is for the lack of information provided for installation. Also leaves no room for seat shut off connection. If you have a Gravely ZT XL, be prepared to drill holes to attach the seat.

tricky to mount

yes it was tricky to say the least on installing this thing , ugh, tried my patience But worth it in the long run, it really does make a difference for my back . They need to include at least basic steps for instructions.

May need a little customization for your application.

The product was delivered quickly and was as advertised. I had to drill to holes to make it fit my mower but it wasn’t a big deal. It’s a big improvement over the stock ride. Well worth the money.

Amazing seat upgrade

This has made such an improvement to my 0-turn commercial mower. I almost went and got a new seat for over $400, that wasn't needed. My only regret was not buying this sooner.

I haven't used it yet but it's a huge all steel seat base. XL springs and frame.

Looks great but needs alterations

Did not work on 50in toro zero turn had to make several adjustments by drilling mounting holes.

Replaced the stock New Holland WorkMaster37 seat frame

The engineering on the seat of a New Holland WorkMaster 37 is terrible. Spent $200 for the damper assembly once and when it broke again, I decided to go aftermarket. Removed the seat, rails, and drilled 4 holes in the metal base. The rails lined up perfectly in the new holes. It was a tight fit getting the spring base in the rails, but a little ingenuity and the base slid into the rails.. moved forward and backward a few times before torquing everything down. I have a Kubota brand seat I replaced with an air ride seat and decided I wanted to go back with it since the stock NH seat is terrible and generally uncomfortable. The Kubota seat lined up perfectly by default with 4 of the holes in the spring base. A little tight, but was able to get torqued down really good... Started up and tested the seat switch and everything works. The spring and it's roughly 1.2" stroke is an improvement and the fact I have a much more comfortable Kubota seat combines for a significant upgrade. I'd probably have gone with a better stroke, but for the price point the simplicity of install, it is a solid value and a massive upgrade over the stock setup.

Only one comment, worth every penny. Was a snap to install maybe 30 minutes only because I had to go 5 miles to TSC for spacers to raise the seat.

Not what I expected

Shipment was late , directions tell you nothing at all. Had to make spacers to make it work. That they don’t provide or tell you about. . Raises the seat at least 4 inches so if you’re tall it’s probably not good for you.. doesn’t work as good as I thought it would.

Remember you need 4x 1” base spacers to allow the seat to flex over bumpy terrain.

Item was delivered a day early & I did not give a 5 star review mainly because the instructions do not tell you that a 4x1” spacers are needed to mount the bottom seat bracket/frame to the frame of the lawn mower base plate to allow the suspension seat to move up & down freely when riding over a bumpy field…. The instructions booklet makes no mention what-so-ever of this at all & it baffled me to no end to try to reason why the seat would not flex up & down at a bump… I used 4 x 3/8” metal nuts, one on top of each other ( only because I had them already ) on each base mount to make up as spacers at each base mounting bolt … plus 4 x 2” x 5/16” bolts & nylon lock nuts to secure the base tightly… The 4 x 5/16 x 2” bolts & 5/16” vibration nuts will be your own extra added expense… The seat works very well after learning all this on YouTube videos... it definitely made a huge difference on the ride ! Buy with confidence...

Ordered this for my new Toro commercial zero turn mower that was a stiff ride and couldn’t be happier. First, out of the box I was blown away by the quality and build. Way more heavy duty than I expected in this price range. The swat base was easy to install with multiple mounting holes available. I did have to drill two new holes which is to be expected on a universal kit. After install I felt like I was on a different mower as it made the ride a hundred times less stiff. If you bought anything of similar quality at a mower shop it would cost $500 dollars easy, but hats how well made it is. Shipping was also quick and being my first purchase on the brand, I’m always a bit worried not knowing the quality of something so to say I was surprised and impressed is an understatement.

Can be used on a Toro Time Cutter mower

Installed it on a Toro Time Cutter zero turn that is over 10 years old. Definitely made a difference, but not night to day difference. Had to do some custom backyard engineering as I did not want to modify seat. The seat has 4 protruding studs from the bottom that go into slotted tracks in mower frame. I made a spacer to go between them to get a greater contact area. Then I made a plate out of 1/8 aluminum (I had it laying around) and mounted seat to that (I think you could use 3/8 plywood but that would add to height). I then had to drill holes in mower frame to mount bottom of unit to mower frame. A little work but seems worth it.

This is quite a heavy part, it appears to be unnecessarily so. It seems very solid and works as intended. The small size makes it easy to adapt to many different seats. But the resultant assembly is heavy.

May save you money in the long run

Added this to. Gravely 52” zero turn. It may have saved me over 6000.00 dollars as I may not have to upgrade my mower!

So comfortable

If you’re heavy like myself with back pain this is 100% an upgrade it’s crazy how much nicer it is to mow now it takes me around 5 hours to mow and my knees and back used to hurt so bad after wards this is a great solution to that

you have to buy the connectors and wires to make the extension for the safety switch.

I love the product but if people buy it for the ZT 1 they will have to make an extension for the safety switch .

Worthless Junk

Has less than 2 inches of travel. Travel is mostly forward and reverse instead of up and done. A real head scratcher how anyone thinks this was a good design. Do not buy unless you enjoy disappointment.

Very nice quality

Haven’t installed yet but extremely happy with the quality and did a test sit on it and it was so nice. Will make mowing a much more comfortable experience

Suspension sest

It was the poorest instructions I’ve ever seen on any product. I actually found instructions on YouTube that were 10 times better and apparently people have figured out the manual that has sent with the product is extremely insufficient. I definitely would not buy this product again and I certainly don’t recommend it.

Works good but not likely to just bolt on

First off I do believe this is a good product. Reading through the comments I was fairly certain that there would be some fab work involved. This is not as universal as implied and is not very likely to just bolt on. I fab stuff all the time so this wasn't a problem for me but could be for some people. My mower was a 2024 BadBoy. I had to drill four holes to bolt the unit down. Two holes worked to bolt the seat down and I had to drill the other two. Again this is right up my alley and I was expecting it so be warned you'll need a drill and bits if it doesn't fit, again not likely. It definitely adds suspension to the seat and makes it more comfortable. You will have to adjust to your weight. My suggestion would be to sit on seat and bounce a few times, while remaining sitting , take both hands and pull down on plate that its bolted to and see if it pulls down any, if it does your pretty close but if it doesn't your still relying on original springs and need to crank up spring tension.

installing

Works as described, it helps but zero turn mowers are just rough, as for as easy instalation don't count on that I had to do some modification for it to fit my John Deere 915b.

Spacers on cub cadet

Needs 3/4” spacers and longer screws if putting on a cub cadet due to the seat sensor clearance. Other than that love it! Made mowing a lot more comfortable!

Suspension siège - c'est mieux que rien du tout.

C'est mieux que rien, car une fois installé et réglé du mieux possible cela permet d'amortir un tout petit peu les chocs. Un tout petit peu, car le débattement vertical est très faible. Installations faîtes sur une kubota Z 122R et Z1. Par contre attention, il faut prévoir des cales ou entretoises au montage pour surélever la plateforme d'environ 15mm. Sinon le débattement complet ne pourra pas se faire. Le mécanisme étant fait pour s'installer sur une tole ayant une découpe au centre, afin que ce mécanisme puisse passer au travers. Ce qui n'existe pas sur les modèles Kubota. Cdt

I had it added to my Badboy MZ Magnum Zero Turn before I sold it to my Brother and he loves having the suspension seat . Makes mowing a lot more comfortable for him .

Required some work to mount, but well worth the effort.

I didn’t use the slider track. We drilled new holes to aline with existing seat mounting tapped holes on my Cub Cadet zero turn mower.

It Took Some Work and the Switch is a Problem

This product is very well made and it does what it is supposed to do. I was impressed, It is heavy and substantial. I installed this on a Husqvarna MZ 54 Zero Turn mower, a 2017 model, The instructions are minimal at best so I had to figure out the mounting on my own, drilling holes in the Husqvarna seat plate. I had to remove the existing seat adjustment mechanism. I also had to shim the seat away from the Suspension Kit top, about 1/4 inch to make room for the seat pressure switch. I used the wire extender and hooked it all up. All was fun until I fired up the mower, The seat pressure switch would not make contact. My guess what that with the movement of the base, I could not place enough weight on the switch to do the job. I ended up just pulling the switch and taping it shut, Not the best I will look at another fix, But I need to mower the property

Smother ride

Worked great. Instructions were not in the box. But youtube has plenty of videos on it. Dont forget to add spacers....

Not as easy as it looks.

Would have given a five, but instructions were difficult basically non existent. Thanks to YouTube and several different vids I was able to get it installed. Not as straight forward a change out as you would think.

Riding on Air!

Installed in a Husqvarna Zero Turn mower Wish I would’ve purchased this last year - a bit challenging to install but doable as with any universal installation. Made a minor alteration and tried it out today, WOW!!! What an amazing difference - like magic I was floating on air instead of getting bone jarring hits to my spine. I’m extremely impressed and it’s heavy duty to the max!!!

check measurements before ordering

Bought version with seat slider track for tractor but this was too wide to fit the tractors' seat base. However, it bolted up with no modifications to my Cub Cadet ZT1 and the ride is now smoother

Additional requirements

Requires Adapter Brackets to fit Gravely ZTX 42" & Spacers kit to utilize seat switch. Shipping is incredibly slow. It took nearly a week to ship. Another week and a half and several calls to usps to finally have it delivered.

Not a difficult installation. Definitely made a huge difference in the ride of my Bad Boy mower. A definite need for a zero turn mower.
