Product worked as described, it fully cleaned my chimney insert with no problems at all. My only note is to make sure the rods are fully attached before using.

Best chimney sweep I own

You just need a drill, and this sweep works pretty well. I only had manual ones before but those are a bit cumbersome to use.

Impressed!

Used it twice since getting it, absolutely worth more than what I paid. I was skeptical about it making a 90 degree elbow in 6 inch pipe, did it no problem. I was also worried about how well the sticks would hold up as they seem like just a flexible plastic, well after cleaning a 22 ft chimney twice they are barely even scuffed. Even if I had to replace this kit every few years its well worth it. Ive already recommended it to a dozen people.

I used it 2 times. First I used on a high RPM and it made a lot of dust and dirt, but with lower RPM its more manageable. Bit cumbersome to disassemble the rod parts.

Il nostro caminetto a legna non tirava più. Dopo aver usato questo strumento , di facile utilizzo e dotato di tutte le parti necessarie , ha ripreso a funzionare. Consigliatissimo.

Kamin Reinigungsset

Danke, die Bestellung sowie die Lieferung war ohne Probleme. Ich habe das Reinigungsset auch gleich benutzt und musste feststellen dass die bestellten 8 m nicht ausreichen so habe ich noch einmal ein 6 m Set gekauft. Die Reinigung ist sehr effektiv und schmutzig. Bei der Verbindungen der Stangen sind leider zwei Klicks die sich ganz leicht lösen.

Aconsejo su uso. Tapar todo alrededor bien porque genera algo de polvo, yo tape con un plástico la puerta de la chimenea y dejé un agujero para ir metiendo las varillas. Dejé la chimenea como nueva.

Works very well 7 metres of flue up 2 storeys was impossible to clean. This device did the job very quick and easy. Recommend if you can’t get on the roof to clean from above

The chimney sweep kit went together well and worked great as far as cleaning my chimney goes. It did a great job cleaning the chimney and metal flue pipe from my wood furnace to my chimney. The gloves that came with the kit were a nice addition but are not suitable for the job. They keep your hands clean but because of the sticky coating on the palm, the spinning rods of the chimney sweep easily gets caught in that coating and binds up in the glove to the point where it's dangerous in my opinion. I had to put the gloves on backwards to let the rods spin in the non coated material of the gloves. The rods are very flexible and wobble considerably while cleaning the chimney especially after extending them. Not much can be done about that except slowing the spin rate down or stopping and starting frequently. It's a shame though as the spinning head needs to spin at a good rate to do a good job in getting into the corners if you have a rectangular chimney. I found the rods a little hard to disengage when taking them apart but a little WD-40 would have made that easier I'm sure. All in all the kit did it's job very well and is ready to go for the next cleaning season.

Facile et adaptable

Tout est bien pensé et pratique ! Le matériel est fourni avec des housses de rangement et de bonne qualité. J'ai pu ramoner mon poêle à bois facilement par le bas, sans avoir à monter sur le toit ou démonter le conduit. Une fois enlevés les éléments nécessaires pour avoir accès au conduit depuis l'âtre, le ramonage est facile grâce aux canes assez souples qui s'adaptent bien à l'angle que j'avais. A l'inverse des canes que j'avais trouvé dans le commerce, qui n'étaient pas assez souple. Ensuite on connecte à la perceuse et c'est parti ! Franchement rentable et efficace.

Very satisfied. The build quality looks good and I have already used it and already saved 50€ that it would cost for a chimney sweep. I should point that I burn seasoned wood at high temperatures so I normally don't have a huge creosote build up.

Chimney Sweep Kit

When I found out how much a chimney sweep wanted to clean the chimney, my son suggested ordering this tool to clean it. It didn't come apart as somebody else posted. He attached it to his battery operated drill (I think that was the tool he used) and worked this tool in an up/down motion along the the walls of the chimney trying to get anything hanging on. I believe it did the job as expected.

Excellent piece of kit. Clips securely together so no screw-threads to come loose while you're using it. No special appliance needed. Works well with a medium, handyman size battery drill. Sturdy construction and comes in a storage bag. More than paid for itself with one sweep. Should've bought one years ago and saved a fortune in chimney sweeping service.

er nem at bruge og tar nemt løst sod i skorstenen . kan ikke ta løbesod . med mindre at man lige modificerer den lidt . ved at fjerne plastik strimlerne og sætter noget tyndt wire i i stedet for . lavede wire længden i samme længde som hullet skal være i skorstenen feks 180 mm . havde noget der sad meget fast satte en lille stump kæde i wiren og kørte op og ned og skorstenen var lige som ny . man må ikke holde stille med kæde på da den så æder sig ind i skorstenen

Bought this months ago wanted to wait until I actually used it I have never cleaned my chimney Aprox 25 yrs. I tried the long handle type you use from the top but just didn’t get the job done and the m not so good at heights any more I wish I took pics before hand it’s hot so just wanted to get it done but put it this was the ash in chimney was so high at the bottom it was above the clean out door aprox 2’ give or take And creasole was everywear all over the pipe this tool was so easy to use and did such a great job cleaned right down to the liner Whole job took about a 1/2 hr My only recommendation is to use a electric drill I used my dewalt impact driver and kept over heating it This is 100% the fastest easiest way I could have done it local guys wanted 179.00 just to expect it and 500-900 depending how bad it was I did it out door by the clean out door you could remove pipe but definitely use plastic and tape a lot of dust
