Very Quiet Compressor Upgrade with One Minor Limitation

This compressor pump and motor assembly worked great for my project. I used it to repair a broken Kobalt air compressor that I picked up on Facebook Marketplace for a steal. The original compressor pump had completely failed and had actually overheated badly enough to catch fire. This unit was nearly a direct replacement, using the same mounting holes as the original pump, so installation was straightforward. The first thing I noticed was how incredibly quiet it is. I was honestly surprised. You can stand right next to the compressor while it's running and carry on a normal conversation without raising your voice. For a small air compressor, that's exceptional. The dual-piston design built into the motor housing provides a smooth, consistent airflow, and the overall layout is very similar to the California Air Tools style compressors. If you're repairing or modifying a similar compressor, there's a good chance this unit will fit with little or no modification. Air output is adequate for general shop use. The cylinder head is small but works well. The only thing is that before installing it, it must be moved manually and oil must be poured in. Everything else is ok.

Very quiet pump

I’m giving it 4 stars because 2 of the cooling fins broke off during shipping but it doesn’t seem to hurt it any. The pump is so much quieter than my old compressor pump and fills the tank to 150psi in no time

Performs as advertised

Pump works as expected, my compressor actually works better that it has ever done from new. its taking 4 1/2 mins to fill a 100lt tank to 8bar and is able to constantly supply my sand blast cabinet with 115 psi . Happy with the purchase.

Note: read the manual when used with a 2 pole 2880 rpm. motor you should use a 100 mm 4” V pulley whel on the motor making the unit run with 1080 rpm.

I have a California Air Tools Compressor model 10020C that started making a lot of noise and had low output. This pump looked very similar and the specs were the same. The factory replacement pump was more than double the cost. This arrived quickly and packaged very well. There are a few minor differences but nothing that matters. In fact the main components look identical. If you feel comfortable changing out a pump then you will be fine. After replacement the compressor performed just like new. If you have a CAT 10020C then this is the replacement for you.

Great replacement for older loud oil-less compressors. Very quiet and accurate cfm rating. I did replace the included capacitor with a better one for quicker starting.

Nice compressor

This is a nice compressor. I used it to replace an Ingersol Rand S3 that was 26 years old and needed a new valve plate. The compressor was half the price of a new valve plate for the S3. So far it seems just as good as the S3.

Awesome replacement for my 26 Gal Kobalt Quiet compressor. Had to modify the plate to get the feet to line up but that was it and it dropped right in. The supply hose is a little short but will work.

Replacement air coompressor

Replaced my Craftsman compressor with the air compressor motor Max 145PSI. Super quiet. A little slower to fill, but I think if I increase the size of the pressure tube to match the compressor, it should fill faster.

Very good compressor, huge upgrade to CFM and also more quiet than the previous pump it was replacing it took a little retrofitting to get it mounted and air line connected, shroud position, but it all worked out. Wonderful pump, great value!

This is a generic pump head and probably does not fit any compressor. They picked up on my search criteria and added what I was looking for to their description. So it looked like it fit my compressor, but it did not. The mounting holes were way off. It took a couple of hours to get it installed on my compressor. It does work good though and the price I paid for it was worth the installation time. I do recommend this pump head if you have the ability to mount it correctly

The boss hoss of Air compressors

Biggest piston type air compressor I’ve come across . 17.5CFM and two stage compression . This thing moves air more than a tornado ! Easily keeps up and actually laughs at my Die grinder at 100% . Tried two die grinders and it still keeps up ! With just the one tho , compressor will kick on and refill the tank and shut off very quickly . This has been an amazing compressor to use as I’m never ever having to wait for air to build back up . The only downside to it which still doesn’t deserve a lost star because of is the power needed to spin this monster ! Was gonna try a 10hp flat electric motor but didn’t wanna be just enough . Went with a 20HP motor which offcoarse is three phase . Which also isn’t common @ any residential hydro panel . To make this work I had to get a large VFD to take 220v split phase and make three phase to power the motor . It was quite the investment between the motor and vfd but the outcome is sooooo incredibly worth it ! Be warned do not buy this compressor head and think for a second a 5Hp motor is gonna be adequate . Once it stars getting up past 150psi the load is quite tremendous . Obviously the 20hp still doesn’t care but I’d be nervous to run a 10hp o…

Ottima portenza di carica aria..Per me è un buon prodotto qualità prezzo. la casa madre consiglia un motore elettrico da 3hp ma io prima di sostituire il motore elettrico ho provato ha utilizzare il motore pre esistente da 2hp sulla bombola di carico.Se non si fa un utilizzo molto gravoso va bene anche un motore mono fase da 2hp di buona qualità.

My 80 gal compressor pump motor main shaft came loose on my compressor and messed up the shaft needed new pump motor this one saved me alot of money 💰 just check all bolts before installing to make sure they tight pumps up fast looks good hopefully it will last make sure to fill up oil reservoir

Kwaliteit kan ik nog niet echt beoordelen, de compressor draait net twee dagen. Het lijkt iig goed. Het zou iets duidelijker kunnen wat betreft de olie die er in moet. Het moet 100 compressor olie zijn. Dan moet je wel weten wat dat is. Ik heb er dus PAG100 olie in gegooid. Dit is voor airco pompen. Hopen dat dat goed gaat.

Heb de compressorpomp van mijn compressor vervangen door een pomp van Vervor omdat mijn pomp erg veel herrie maakte. Hij was vrij makkelijk te monteren, en de tank is zo vol en maakt veel minder herrie. Ik ben er blij mee, goede pomp voor een redelijke prijs.

Good pump

I build a crompressor with this pump i use a 3 hp motor and serch for a use tank. It run between 105 psi to 140 psi and do a good job. The only down part is the drain plug is not a good place dain but overhall is a very good buy for my diy home shop!

Works well and good quality.

My old compressor reached end of the line and then I decided to build better new one and of corse needed new pump block. Quality/price -ratio is good and no obvious shortcomings or quality problems. Produces air quite fast. Shaft rotation is counter- clockwise and output is 3/4". It does not vibrate a lot when running. I use compressor mineral oil wit this unit and seems to work with no problems. Pumping 50 liter tank from 8 to 10 bar only takes about 30 seconds. I have not yet used this a lot, so far I'm satisfied and can recommend this product. Quick delivery.
