buy it, you won't regret it.

i bought one of these just to see if it was worth the cost. put it on a toro titan max 60" for the wife to try. after a few mows, my wife loved it. I bought a second one for my mower a 61" snapper (yes, we have that big of yard). we've has them for a couple years and they are doing great. I don't normally write reviews but figured these deserved a mention. do yourself a favor and buy it. it works and seems to last.

Cushy seat

Suspension seat kit works amazingly well. Makes mowing way more comfortable. Had to use my original seat tracks on my Bad boy Maverick. Only had to wallow out 2 holes to make it work perfect. Would recommend.

Quality

While items is solid build and strong I Spent all most half day back and forth to hardware stores to get stuff. My mower seat hole didn’t align so I had to drill lots of holes to make it happen, wiring didn’t match with my unit (understandable) Overall not bad investment

Vector suspension kit

This is my second suspension kit. This one went on a small loader tractor. Makes a big difference in ride quality. Having a bad back, I wish that I had found these sooner!

Easy install

Easy to put on. I put it on by myself within an hour. Did not have to drill any other holes or anything and matched perfect with my mower. It's was a real easy addition to my bad boy Magnum mower and it's real comfortable. I ran it once around the yard. I have really uneven yard lots of bumps I got about four acres I need to cut and it was fantastic. I am glad I bought this. I hope everybody else feels the same when they put theirs on there mower I just need to get some arm rest and I'm good to go

2022 Bad Boy Maverick 60” Install

The post install ride is so much better! However, make sure you have a good high speed grinder and a 1/2 Burr Bit. Holes are just a slight bit off. Other than that the additional high wasn’t an issue (5’10”) and didn’t need to adjust handles.

Helped with the bouncing on my snapper zero turn by 80% Had to put 2 - 4x4’s on floor for my wife to rest her feet on but she likes this . She Was hesitant about me putting it on but love it now

Takes the jolt out of the ride.

I bought this for a Bad Boy zero turn mower. It was not difficult to mount, the holes lined up with the bolts on the Bad Boy MZ. It can be installed by one person but is easier with help because of the weight. It is well built and hefty. Should have bought this sooner, if you have a bad back like I do it is a necessity not a luxury. It makes mowing enjoyable again. Great purchase.

Not for hilly terrain buyer beware.

Overall the product is pretty much what you see is what you get but don't be fooled by the description that it is suitable for a zero turn mower. Think through seriously how it might change the handling of your equipment, especially, on hilly terrain. It raises the seat height so much that you can be thrown out of the seat going over a bump or when leaning or turning on a hillside. Otherwise, it might be fine and does provide cushioning. Also my zero turn has a steering wheel and it nearly brings my knees to the height of my steering wheel changing the ergonomics. Finally, the instructions on how to mount it are non-existent, so you are left your own ingenuity to figure it out and may have to try several different ways so that it doesn't interfere with your seat adjustment lever. Your application may make it difficult mount.

Mounts Easy and Cushions the Ride

My yard is rough and decided to try this as a solution. I no longer feel beat up when I’m done mowing my 2 acres. Takes a little tweaking to adjust the tension in the springs.

What a difference! My back and kidneys thank you. Noticed an immediate difference. My lawn isn't crazy bumpy, but the suspension really smooths out the ride. Installation required drilling two new holes (Hustler FasTrak).

This has helped the ride on my toro timecutter max.I didnt have to drill any holes.But i did have to use 4 different bolts i happened to have .For those of you who are einstiens offspring and complain about how hard it is to get the bolts in and hold them to tighten them because of clearance issues.If you remove the 4 chrome allen screws on the side ...the top and bottom come apart and make it alot easier to assemble.

Worth it... needed a few adjustments

Worked perfectly on a JD325 zero turn Mounted the seat to the top plate Mounted the base side to mower flip plate. Extended the wire for the safety switch and put it all together. Done!! Should have done this 2 years ago Now need to raise the mower push handles higher.

Easy install and nice fitment

So far so good! Was able to sneak the seat wire through holes in it without splicing wires. Does raise the seat a few inches but I also gained at least three inches back which I needed.

Wow, where has this been? I have the roughest yard I have ever seen. This suspension kit smooths it out nicely. I just float along through the bumps, no more getting beat up while cutting grass. My lower back thanks me. I had to drill a couple of holes, but other than that easy install.

Great seat

Great ride. I installed this on my Bad Boy Avenger and it made a big difference in the ride. My lawn is rough in spots but this seat took the kidney bashing ride and made mowing comfortable. Fully adjustable for weight and not too hard to install. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable

I bought this for my Husqvarna R5424 but it wasn’t a direct fit. Once I took the time and modified it to fit it worked great. It has a nice soft ride and now it doesn’t jar my back riding over the rough ground. The handle for sliding the seat back and forth doesn’t work great but now that it’s adjusted it shouldn’t matter. Although my seat is much higher and took a little time to get used to it, thankfully I’m tall so my legs don’t dangle off the seat

Installed on my Bad Boy Maverick. Installation was straightforward and pretty easy with a little help from my wife and no modifications were needed. The seat switch hooked up and the included wire extension was not needed but it was nice that it was included. The ride is amazing now with way more comfort.

I finally gave up trying to figure out why the slider was either binding or not being released by the lever. Not for a DIY customer. Lots of drilling for a mower install. Box says forklift and it appears that is what this product is designed for.

Not so easy to install.

Ordered this for my 2021 Toro Titan. I am a very experienced mechanic, worked aircraft engines, automotive and even cranes. This kit is heavy, seems well made overall. The issue is installing it! Not a single hole on the seat plate lined up to do any good. I had to take the actual seat apart more than once, had to drill the seat plate, and the main suspension section to make it work. Once installed a few hours later, it does work well, but it will raise you up around 4-6 inches! If it was easier to install i would give it 5 st a rs. If you don't have good drill bits, step bit ect, don't buy this. Take your time and check and recheck your placement of the plates.

Seat adjustment mechanism not very well designed

Good fit for my John deere z330m

I recently installed the Seat Suspension Kit on my John Deere Z330M, and it has made a noticeable difference in comfort and overall mowing experience. The installation process was straightforward and didn’t require any major modifications. Everything lined up well with the existing seat base, and the included hardware felt solid and well-made. I was able to get it installed in under an hour. The biggest improvement is in ride quality. Before adding the suspension kit, mowing over uneven ground or bumps would get uncomfortable pretty quickly. Now, the suspension absorbs most of that impact, making longer mowing sessions much easier on my back. The adjustability is also a nice touch—I was able to fine-tune it to my weight and preferred firmness. Overall, this is a great upgrade for the Z330M if you’re looking to improve comfort without spending a fortune. It feels durable, performs as expected, and significantly reduces fatigue during use. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a similar mower.

NO assembly Instructions - good luck

Read the assembly instructions online before purchase. There are none. I wasn't even able to find an instructive video. Thankfully, I have a pretty sound mechanical background and was able to figure out how to disassemble the pre-assembled parts in order to reassemble everything. Even still, the rubber boot design it is very poorly thought out. Be prepared for fasteners to fail and modifications necessary. Oh, and have zip ties handy. Hint: in order to assemble it, you're first gonna have to disassemble it. If you don't think you have the know how, pay (significantly) more for the Tracseat. I've upped my rating because the seat performs well during mower operation. It makes a tremendous difference in ride comfort.

Don't be afraid to slightly modify it.

Wasn't a bad install at all on a John Deere Z725 Zero Turn mower. A couple of helpful hints: 1. Cut a three in long piece out of the middle bar on the seat mount to allow the seat cutoff switch to mount low without having to use shims or washers. 2. Use an inch & a half hole saw to cut hole in the middle of the plate with the spring assembly to run your wiring through and you can use your existing wiring to the seat cutoff switch. The rest bolted right up without having to drill new holes. Not having to shim let the seat height stay as low as possible. Unit seems heavy duty and DEFINITELY improved the ride and back jarring. Good unit!

it will rise your seat 5 to 6 inches ..... keep that in mind. 😁

Works very well for my application

Installed two of these on my bass boat under the seats, game changer. Handled 3’ waves without killing my back. Only area for possible concern is there is only 2 attachment holes from the bottom of unit to the floor, so I’ll be keeping an eye on the mount hardware.

I mounted this on my Grasshopper lawn mower. It is much cheaper than the complete seats that everyone sells and basically does the same thing. It was a little difficult to install but I might not have used it on what it was designed for. It does make you sit a fair amount higher though.

Finally an economical solution for my low back pain

I have wanted a suspension seat for my mower for years. I live in the country so I have a lot to mow, and a lot of ot is driven over by farm machinery. I mow wide open on my Grasshopper. The last time after I installed the suspension I only bottomed out once. Also now I have forward and rear seat adjustments. The suspension. And seat from grasshopper was about $1000. This was about $100. I had to drill and fit, but I had it on in less than an hour.

Bought for my dad for his Bad Boy mower and he loves it. Yeah you have to raise your control handles due to the height change in seating but the comfortable ride makes it worth it! Santa is bringing one for my husband's Bad boy mower this Christmas!

Great purchase for the price, it took a little bit of modification to install but nothing major. Fit just fine on my gravely hd mower. Built with heavy duty quality material.

Didn't work for what it was supposed to...

Said it would fit my Dad's tractor. Universal and all that, and even specified it was compatible with my Dad's Cub Cadet. But it wasn't... Didn't fit the seat mounting holes, nor the tractors. Took 2 days for mucking around to get it to work involving drilling new holes into the tractor body, seat bracket and so forth to have something usable. Though when on it is actually quite nice.

Holes for seat plate, JD935 zero turn.did not line up had to jig saw 2.Needed 1.5 inch spacers to attach to seat plate to allow seat slide adjuster to work and could not tighten bolts to seat adjuster or it would not slide freely. OTHERWISE Great product for the money and works well !

Suspension kit works excellent, would highly recommend.

This took a little bit of time to put on otherwise it works great & you have support when cutting grass. You have to adjust it to the terrain. Would highly recommend this kit. Great value for the money.

This is perfect

I bought the seat first and then upgraded my suspension I had the old style just springs before this on but this is perfect much better worth every penny. My old 2014 Gravely ZT XL48 is better than ever.
