Quality product / easy to install & trim
Good quality product - used to keep leaves out of the yard and to keep visiting cats from coming in the yard. Much better than cheap plastic mesh version. Worth the extra cost and easy to install and trim to size.
Great quality
This stuff is incredible. I lined our wood fence with it to keep our ducks in the backyard. Then we got more to do the duck run. It’s very sturdy but also mendable. Well worth the price compared to other options I found and this stuff will last a lot longer. You can see through the pen so easily since it’s black.

I usually don’t take time to write reviews, but this has been so easy to use compared to the hardware cloth We usually use. I cut it with regular scissors and we made bunny, pens and quail pens. It also bends very easily and the black color is so nice because you can see right through it. I was unsure about this company, because so many fly-by-night companies are popping up on the web, but I have no complaints and will definitely order this product again.
Not the strongest.
Definitely not 19 guage, maybe after the wire is coated. Not the strongest but is affordable. Fence broke where stapled first time dog tried to get into coop.
not galvanized
Looks good until there is minor damage, which happens fairly easily. Then you watch the wire underneath the vinyl coating rust quickly. Disappointing.
Does the job
It’s a durable, cost-effective choice for serious farm or garden projects, but be prepared for a bit of a workout during the installation process!
Not Compatible with Air Tools
We used the 1/2" hardware cloth for our chicken coop run. It actually looks nice once installed and the mesh size is great for predator protection. One thing to be aware of during installation, it’s not strong enough to handle air tools. We tried using heavy-duty staples with an air compressor, and the pressure was breaking the wire when the staple fired. We even tested the air on the lowest setting without a staple and it still broke the wire, even on the lowest setting. Because of that, we had to switch to a manual stapler instead. It works fine that way, but it does make installation slower and more labor-intensive.
