Crawl space vapor barrier

Item as described. Good price for 14mil plastic, in this size. It was a little wrinkly towards the end of the roll, but it performs as expected.

Excellent quality, easy to work with

Bought to function as a vapor barrier underneath a greenhouse as well as for tarping off areas for soil solarization for future garden space. 10 Mil is thick enough to work for both functions and it seems thick enough to be able to re-use. Will update this review with feedback regarding longevity, but I'm optimistic and happy so far!

Covering for raised garden beds

Excellent gauge for covering raised garden beds for the winter. When pulled slightly taught, rolled at edges and stapled it works well.

Worked like a charm

I ordered this plastic sheeting to use in creating a garden area in my back yard. I mapped out the area I planned to plant and then covered it with the plastic sheeting to kill the grass for easy removal (chemicals were not an option). The plastic was durable and easy to cut / lay to achieve the desired shape. Worked like a charm - I raked up the dead grass and I'm working on my late season garden bed.

Great For Water Mitigation

We used this film to fix some water mitigation under the deck. So far so good. The film seemed really strong and quite thick. It was quite a bit of work to get it in place, but so far it has worked really well.

This is a good roll of plastic, is easy to use, it's functional and depending of what you use it for the value is good. Is cery thick, the Durability will be measured according to what is used for, my dad used it in the yard to hold the bad grass from reg-growing however that bad grass is stubborn

Just a heck of a lot of plastic sheeting. I've since used it, it's had some hefty stuff thrown on it, and all seems well. No leakage under the portion I was able to lift and check. It does the job. Plenty thick, I didn't have an issue with that. Good cost, seems to be about market. Would recommend as an option.

Exactly as Described

I needed something to lay out in my vegetable garden to kill all the weeds before rototilling. This was the perfect width for a row and when punctured with stakes, the plastic did not tear or rip any further and it stayed in place. I will continue to use this yearly! Great product for a great price.

Great option to provide a barrier for many projects that’s thick and durable.

The 10 Mil Plastic Sheeting by the brand, has worked wonderful l to provide a solid and convent barrier for my roofing project. Its good quality, fairly tear resistant at 10 mils, easy to roll out and cut to size. Overall, I’ve been happy with this choice. It feels like a good value based on the quality, ease of use and durability so far. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.

Heavy duty plastic sheeting.

This is very heavy duty plastic sheeting for any number of uses. It is very high quality plastic and unfolds easily, cuts easily and, in general, is a very good product.

Very Thick Barrier Material

This is a very thick barrier that is quite durable. I used it as a weed block for a particularly troublesome area in my yard where I had some invasive plants. I cut down the plants, put this over it, and then put mulch. So far . . . so good. I really don't think anything will be able to grow through this. I also think it will last a long time.

Works well for disposable drop-cloth material

We are repainting the interior of our home and this stuff is great for disposable drop-cloth material. We have some similar transparent drop-cloth rolls, but we wanted something with color so we can see where the paint splatter is landing to avoid stepping in the larger droplets. Being 10' wide and 100' long, this is more than enough to cover for 10 rooms, which is more than we have to paint. When I consider this roll against 10 drop-cloths of similar sizing, this is a tad more expensive, but the thickness and coloring is difficult to find and it saves us a lot on cleanup when we can see where the splatter is being caught. The thickness holds up to multiple uses, so we have been able to re-use the 10'x10' piece we cut in a few rooms so far. We haven't had any issues with tearing while walking on it either, so it works well for us.

Can't beat this brand for what they offer

Very heavy but that's understandable it's thicker than I expected and you cat beat the coverage. this brand has beat my expectations every time they are hard to beat with any of there products.

Not Truly Heavy Duty

I recently purchased the 10 Mil Plastic Sheeting Heavy Duty for my home renovation project. While the product has some positive aspects, I was disappointed with certain claims about its thickness and durability. The size is suitable for a variety of tasks and the black polyethylene material is nice for blocking light as covering. It’s also lightweight and easy to cut, fold, and maneuver, while, my main issue is that the sheeting is not truly heavy duty as advertised, and I strongly doubt it’s 10 mil thick. it feels closer to 5 mil. This was noticeable when I used it in the crawl space, where it tore easily when pulled over rough surfaces like gravel or sharp edges. the thinner material didn’t hold up as well as I hoped during outdoor use. When used as a painter’s tarp, it worked fine for light protection, but it wasn’t robust enough to handle heavier debris or repeated foot traffic without showing wear.

This is a large roll of thick and sturdy black plastic that can be used as drop cloths, pallet wrap, or any other protective layer where plastic is appropriate. We actually unrolled a little bit and covered a dog house with it to protect it from the elements. The roll functions very well and is easy to unravel, cut, and store when done. We are finding more uses for it all the time, such as to basically wrap everything in the garage like a present to protect against our four harsh seasons. Overall it is very handy to have, and is great for household or industrial use.

Came Fast & Well Made!

Originally I was going to get Crawl Space Brothers to redo my small crawl space (less than 200 sq ft), but I said, nah, I can get my handyman's cousin who does crawlspaces for much cheaper. So I called him and said would this work and he said yeah. So I got it and now just have to pay for the labor. This is thick! This isn't like some material that feels like a roll of black lawn bags, this is the real deal Holyfield.

Quality Product-It is exactly as described

Good quality product. I got the 6mil, and it is 6 mils. Convenient, functional, the roll allows you to cut to size and overlap or flash up areas needed. Reduces waste. Has many uses, from general vapor barrier to lining drainage trenches as a barrier between dirt/rock/sand.

Pick a side!

This roll of plastic is quite heavy, a good indication of the thickness/durability of the plastic. I like that there is a black side as well as a white side. While I could use this as a weed barrier I will most likely use it to cover the frame for my makeshift hoop house. The plastic is thick and durable and I can't imagine that I could tear or rip it even if I tried.

Perfect for my application and very cost effective

I'm installing a floating floor over concrete in my basement and need a moisture barrier. The specs for this 6 mil polyethylene roll are the same as what my local big box store sells for this application, but they charge more than twice as much per square foot. Since this sheeting also looks and feels the same to me, I'm confident it will work well.

Decent sheeting

First off, this was packaged really good, so there was no concern of it being damaged in shipping. (Sometimes a concern with heavier items) It is exactly what it says. At 10 mils thick, it's pretty heavy duty, and being 100 ft long, it'll cover a lot of area. It's uses are unlimited. The price is right in the ballpark with most big box stores but when you buy this, it'll show up at you doorstep.

Not as thick as I thought.

I ordered this for storm damage protection. I am not using it for a vapor barrier or any other kind of construction use. I have it in case I get a broken window or to cover up something in case of a storm. It works for this us. Not as thick as a tarp but will work in a pinch.

Decent Multi-Purpose Plastic Sheeting, But Not as Heavy-Duty as Expected
