Nice machine. After tightening the screws it was a wee bit cattywumpuss. The angle indicator is worthless. The shipping container is unique. The device should be more securely attached to the pallet. Suffered minor cosmetic damage. I blame 85% shipping handlers, 15% shipper as drywall screws are insufficient security attachments. I like the machine, it works admirably. Would be nice to have a 4 jaw chuck option. Nice machine. Don't seem to be able to upload a picture. Camera pic is larger than 2mb.

Great quality weld indexer

This thing works out super awesome. Especially for the price point. The only remark that I would make is, I don’t care for the little timer that’s built into it. If you forget to set the time correctly, the indexer will stop on you while you’re welding. That’s only in the automatic function. I don’t think it affects the foot pedal operations. I also like how the Chuck works. You don’t have to fumble for a Chuck key like in aI also like how they Chuck works. You don’t have to fumble for a Chuck key like in a lathe. It’s all integrated in the Chuck. I’d also came with a pigtail to somehow tie into your TIG machine for automatic functioning, I have yet to explore that, but I can see this being handy so you’re not fumbling with switches like I was in the video.

HD-10 weld positioner

Works great right out of the box. Good machine for the price. I read a few reviews saying it was too fast, but it seemed to work good for this 1.5” diameter weld.

Doing my research, I watched a few YouTube videos about this product. Like 1 other purchaser, mine arrived with the clear plastic cover that protects the timer broken in several pieces. The brand should pack the loose parts in the crate more securely so that they are not able to move around in shipment & bump against the main part that is bolted down solid to the base of the crate. Other than that 1 small flaw, I like it a lot. I've only used it a few times, but so far so good. I used the foot pedal to activate it & squeezed the trigger on my MIG gun with my hand to weld. I'm waiting on a plug end that I ordered so that I can wire the unit to my welder to activate the welder once the unit starts turning (either by foot pedal or timer). This will make things easier.

It works

Works great tig welded some tube adapters. Some have said it doesn’t turn slow enough worked great. Just wish all the holders would have been in the box. Chatted for 30 mins about that.

Very pleased with our welding positioner. We have a now almost fully automated welding solution for our products allowing consistent perfection in our fabrication. The unit we purchased will move slow enough for even deep TIG welding while the smaller units would be a bit too fast for our operation. The ease of use makes our process an easily transferable skill across all our fabricators. We entertained much more expensive options prior to choosing the brand and are confident we made the best choice for our application.
