Ma note n'est pas que pour l'étau, en effet ce dernier est très qualitatif, bien usiné et ajusté. J'en suis très satisfait. Cependant, il semble déjà avoir été utilisé. J'ai retrouvé quelques copeaux, et une marque de perçage dans le fond de ce dernier ( plus qu'une marque d'ailleurs, un trou sur le filetage). S'il n'était pas aussi lourd, j'aurais demandé un retour ou un remplacement, mais au final cela ne semble pas modifier les fonctions de ce dernier, notamment grâce à sa qualité de fabrication.

pretty nice vice

the vice is HD and machined well for the money its amazing. I will note to the buyer. the crank that comes with the vice Falls off. when I have some time I will drill and tap a spot for a set screw but well worth the purchase.

Good small mill vice for much less money than the pro brands. ground surfaces are within the tolerances you would expect. Some cost savings have been taken like hidden surfaces under fixed and moving jaws are not ground. If you have the means to grind or scrape these, then a very good vice can be had for small cost and a little effort.

Quality control issues

I ordered two vises in hopes they were close to the same height so I could hold one long piece of aluminum with the two vises. Height difference was almost 1mm.

Pas mal

Petit problème d'équerrage entre le mors fixe et les patins centreurs qui s'engagent dans la rainure de la table. Il y avait 5 /100 iéme de faux équerrage sur la longueur du mors qui fait 120 mm, j'ai dû bricoler les patins pour rectifier le problème.

Retired home inspector

The vise is very impressive in all aspects. My only concern was the packaging. It appeared that the box was dropped during transport and subsequently the foam packaging was broken in some cases but the vise was not damaged. As a result of the damage, the manual was scuffed and torn beyond repair. I was unsuccessful in obtaining a replacement copy via your online service and unfortunately did not find a download version in the internet.

Nice piece!

A real heavyweight that the post office had a bit of a struggle with. A lovely, precise vice. I just filed down a few sharp edges on the underside, but at this price it’s unbeatable. It’s precision-made and, thanks to the design of the guide, it doesn’t pull the clamped material upwards like a simple vise that is used normally with a column drill.

Good for the money.

This is a decent little drill press. And it has a bunch of nice features, including a digital read out for rpms. The truck had some run out. And it’s not that Ridgid. But for the price, I don’t think you could really beat it.

Completely misrepresented in the photos and description. This vise does not have ACME threads. It has standard metric bolt threads. This is a huge difference in the quality of the vise. The vise at this price point will do everything thing I need it to do, but I was expecting it to match the ad and pictures.

Decent price for the price.

Mounts easily, feels heavy duty and weighs a lot. Jaws are not parallel. Threads are really tight and hard to turn. Takes 2 hands to turn if not bolted down. 1 to hold the vice while you turn the handle with the other. As much as it weighs the handle should spin freely.

5-inch ACCU Lock vise

Unit appears to be well made and measures square across vise jaws. Is very heavy and works well on my bench top milling machine. Vice screw does bind a little and requires using a wrench to adjust. Definitely an offshore product but cost hundreds less than name brands and will work for my hobby machining. Might be a little big to use on a smaller drill press.

Una prensa ,del todo profesional, solida,pesada, con un aprieta espectacular, lo unico por poner un pero, es que la manivela no tiene un tornillito de sujeccion y se puede salir facilmente, por lo demas satisfecho, la compré para usar en el taladro de columna junto a la mesa de coordenadas, pero el peso del conjunto es brutal, asi que uso una prensa mas sencilla y esta para trabajos que necesiten un apriete mas potente.

Dommage que la version sans oreilles de 160 soit abandonné

Je suis déçu de voir que l'étau de 160 type machiniste sans oreilles ne soit plus proposé! J'en voulais un ou deux supplémentaires pour ma fraiseuse, mais obligé de prendre un qui semblait presque pareil mais tout de même différent... Le bleu est 8,6mm plus bas que le gris. La poignée est différente mais compatible. La vis du bleu est bien plus dure à tourner que le gris. Il faut vraiment y aller... Même huilé. Autrement les fixations fournies sont pas mal mais il manque les rondelles pour pas que les écrous traversent. Les lardons de centrage seront à usiner évidemment. Autrement ils sont très ressemblants. Les trous au dos en M10 permettent de visser un gros profil pour fassiliter l'alignement quand vous voulez les jumeler. (Barre usinée bien planne et épaisse évidemment.) Une fois mes cales pour le surélever faites, je vais pouvoir les utiliser en jumelés. Mais franchement dommage que la marque arrête une référence qui était très bien!

Pakket (doos) kwam behoorlijk beschadigd aan, was waarschijnlijk een keer gevallen. Maar gelukkig was er met de klem niets aan de hand. Het is een mooie degelijke machineklem voor heel weinig geld. Normaal zou je voor zo'n prijs een onbruikbaar pruts ding verwachten. Maar dit is echt een aanrader. Top.

finish was appalling and the accuracy was not up to spec.

The cast recesses for hold-down had large areas of razor sharp jagged areas, a serious injury risk. No de-burring was done anywhere, even the chamfers needed de-burring! The whole unit was full of casting / machining grit, cast flashing and required a complete tear-down and degrease / wash out and finishing with a rotary burr. The machined recess for the thrust washer had a large sliver of metal which caused jamming. The fixed jaw had 0.15mm of vertical run-out.

Ottima morsa che assolve pienamente le mie esigenze. una pecca è il fatto di non avere una tacca di riferimento per la rotazione, ha solo la scala graduata di 360°, quindi se hai bisogno di fare delle rotazioni, bisogna farsela da soli....

Der Schraubstock besteht aus einem guten Material (vergüteter Stahl) und ist mechanisch gut verarbeitet. Der Planschliff ist ebenfalls gut. Gut einsetzbar für ein genaues Arbeiten. Preislich könnte er einen Ticken niedriger (in den 60ern) sein aber noch noch okay. Insgesamt Gut 👍
