Great Tool For Pulling Pinion, Carrier and Stub Shaft Bearings

Feels like a pro tool. Thick metal on the Clamshells. Threads are smooth. You need to have the race on the bearing when pulling it off and there are good videos online for how to use it. I've used this on the Dana 44 and the trailing arm stub shaft bearings on my C3 Corvette. Requires a 36mm socket and it's nice to use with an impact gun. Way easier than a bearing splitter and puller. Highly recommended. Excellent value.

This product does not fit the Dana 80 as advertised. It’s exactly like the cheaper version they have for more money don’t waste your time buying this if you need it for a Dana 80.

I used this tool to made a mayor repair of the differential in my jeep commander, so I bought from the brand, This Puller did the work, but has problems of quality, the adjuster rings lose the alignment because of the threads are lousy, it is not a precision tools.

I bought this because the name brand versions are astronomically priced for basically the same thing. That said, I was a little skeptical because of that reason. I've always heard "you get what you pay for". This bearing puller is very well made and heavy enough that pulling bearings off of the ring gear and pinion of an 8.8 Ford was a piece of cake. There was absolutely no cutting necessary and I was able to keep the pinion bearings to use for setup of the new one. This is an excellent and useful tool for a fraction of the cost. Highly recommended!

This is a must have tool while doing differential rebuild or installing different gears in you jeep diferential. Tool is very easy to use, works perfect everytime. You can put on and off bearings on the go when you are rebuilding your differential. Easy to use on dana 30&35 differentials. Don't forget to use enough grease on the threads so you dont damage them. Worth the money? Definetly YES. Build quality? Very good. Easy to use? Fu*k yeah! :D Would i recommend it? It's a very specific tool but if you are jeep builder who can do gears also? Then this is the thing to use.

Worked so good we laughed. My buddy came over with the diff. We installed the tool, hit it with the impact, it was off in seconds. It was over so quick and was so anti climactic that we just broke out laughing. In a world where you usually need to tap things with a hammer and apply heat to get parts apart, this was a breath of fresh air.

Worked great and has options for quite a few bearing sizes. Little too small for an 11" pinion bearing.

very poor weld

I went to use this the first time and as I tightened the press bolt before I even got pressure on it the weld let go and the center pulled out. I had to weld it back together before I could even use it! If you can’t weld I don’t recommend it.

It Works

It worked for removing my Jeep differential carrier bearings without damage. My only issue is all the clamps don't fit on the storage carrier, so I know I'll probably loose them at some point. I don't pull bearings that often

Great concept. Just did not work as well as i would have liked. But did work after modifying. Videos should it be a lot easier to use than it was?

The price on this tool was great compared to other options. The quality however reflects that.... The unit split the only weld on it with minimal pressure. Looks to be some chinky laser weld garbage with a weld thickness less than.02 thou. The weld on the included stand are better than the tool itself. Plus is that its a sleeve design, so I can drill it out and secure with some plug welds. Will be fine assuming the rest of the tool doesn't fall apart as easily. If you have a welder and can weld its still a good buy. If you dont, buy a welder also, its a great investment. Just not a one!!! Or just buy the Yukon kit lol

Well I was sure the arms were to big for my 60 hp outboard and I was correct so I reverted to the store bought tool I was using, a turnbuckle w a eyelet and a hook end. Mariner tools are not commonly available or extremely expensive so I improvise alot. But due to the sturdy size of the tool I rigged it up and hammered on it. It was being very difficult to get carrier out but it finally came out anything would collapsed bravo to another perfect the brand designed tool.

Decent tool for the price

Had to open up the yelllow clamshell to work on a Dodge 9.25” pinion, but it still worked.

This tool works great! I was hesitant at first except the price point lured me in. Have the cheap tool thoughts in my head I put this unit to work. And do not regret it at all, after a dozen runs I checked the thread and it is perfect. Buy it!

Wonderful tool for Triumph TR6 differential rebuild. Wasted so much time attempting to pull bearings off with other style pullers. Damage-free shims.

Must have for Diff swaps

Been using this for Dana 60 ARB swap and it works great for carrier bearings and the pinion bearings. Pulled carrier bearing off multiple times to swap shims no issues at all. Pinion bearings came off and swapped over was a breeze.

Works well. I removed the pinion bearing several times during setup of new gears on an old Chrysler 8 1/4". I did not need to remove the carrier bearings since it was all new, but it appears the tool will work.

Great tool for d30 and d44 so far.You have to set out both rings really tight before you fit over other half of clam shell. Otherwise you're going to wreck bearings. Works perfect for pinion shafts but for the carrier bearing with slip diff it is problematic, just because you have an oil plenum for lsd on one side and it's not possible to fit the tool over the plenum side of the carrier. So actually you will remove only one bearing from the carrier. No doubt it work perfect for open diffs. Well...none of toll of this kind will fit so it dosent really matter. Cut, grind and chisel out remaining bearing and watch for oil plenum not to get damaged. For this kind of money is superb toll to the collection. Make it lot easier rather than pratting about with hammers and drastic measures.

I bought this tool when my wife's 03 dodge ram differential went to crap. It's the first one I've owned, I have always just made due. Glad I bought it, very well made at a great price.

This tool worked well on a repair I did on a Ford 8.8 rear end. It came well packed and on time. So I was able to get my job done on time. The finish of the tools are nice and they have a cool storage tray.

I have used the expensive tool and this tool is better since it comes with all three of the bearing halves with sleeves ( the expensive tool charges for the extra halves and sleeve ). + it workes on many more carrier bearings that what the description. Ive removed bearings from series 1, 2, 3, land rovers. Gm 10 12 bolts its just a great tool to own if you do one a year or everyday like myself. No problems just kèp it greased.

Bought for a 9” center section I am building for my 66 f100 build. Worked well and we have used on a few more carriers for wheeling rig builds. Recommend purchasing if your planning on doing differential builds.
