Great post bases for the price
Very nice post bases. Comparable to the Simpson ones but at a much better price. They come with all of the necessary hardware to mount to wood as well as the post to bracket bolts and decorative washers. The finish seems very durable.

Very tough stainless steel. Would like 1/2" holes in addition to what was provided
These are very strong anchors. I wanted to use some 1/2 inch L shaped concrete anchors instead of the anchors that came with it. Drilling some 1/2 inch holes was extremely difficult in that stainless. It would be nice if the bottom plate and the square plate came with additional holes for the 1/2" anchors; so you could pick that or use the anchors that came with the kit.

worked perfect for a pole barn
These are very sturdy. Used to build a pole barn and worked perfect. Each one came with a protective plastic so the metal was not scraped up. Easy to use.

These brackets are fantastic, stronger than Simpson by far. I do suggest using the redhead brand sleeve anchors for anything structural, very easy to work with.

Very good product! Notice; it must be reduced the measurements on the post 8x8 to get a nice wooden dripp edge and get the water out in-between wood and metal, every post and beam timber builders knows!!!!

the quality of the units from the brand was great, price was better than i expected, made from better material than the other well known brand i was required to use on the first phase of the project. being made from stnls steel vs galv'n steel made these units far better.

Great design...non-standard hardware
I love the solid feel of these post brackets. The hidden design for the concrete anchors is great and it helps protect the bottom of the post (it rises about 3/4 of an inch above the ground). But...I am taking away 1 star for the hardware. The concrete anchors aren't standard size for North America (3/8 rotary bit it too small, 1/2 inch much to big). NP, but it means I had to get some from my hardware store. The attachment of the side walls to the posts is another area where I didn't even attempt to use the hardware. It comes with 8 inch threaded rod - that means you need to drill perfectly 4 holes from one side to the other. So, my solution - construction screws.
