Really great for the price, we use it to store our syrup once we've boiled the sap down to near syrup level. Bring it back in this and heat it on the stove, worked great, though I noticed some discoloration of the metal on the inside bottom after use.

La cuve ne fait pas 60 litres .Grand maximum elle en fait 55.je m'explique j'ai des contenants de 50cl.Normalement je devrais en remplir 120 et bien moi je n'en ai rempli que 105. Je tenais à vous en informer. Sinon c'est facile à monter et pour l'instant l'inertie de chaleur est très fonctionnelle.

Once again the brand has exceeded all my expectations. Quality materials, construction and smart design makes this kettle an outstanding value. Do not hesitate purchasing this if you are looking for a quality piece for home brewing. Update: although the quality is very good the drain port is way to high from the bottom of the kettle. In addition, the internal filter plate sits a third of the way up in the kettle making the space below worthless for cooking grain. The kettle actually holds 4.75 gallon NOT 5 gallon. I will update my rating to 3 star. If your going to build something build it right.

Capacity lower than advertised. Thermometer floods.

The kettle only fits 16.5 liters of grain+water, not 19 liters as advertised. I measured a couple times during beer batches. Also the thermometer floods if the kettle is submerged, which I discovered during cooling of my wort. Besides those issues it works ok, but I am very disappointed to have less beer than expected in my batches. Probably would not buy it again

Not 16 gal for sure

If you put 16 gal you will literally will be at edge almost dripping I didn’t even attempt to put 15 gal, I only put 14gal. The gage does not read accurate either. I won’t buy this again

La cuve est très correcte avec un bon fond. Mais la tôle percée du fond filtrant est de très mauvaise qualité. Elle griffe la cuve lorsqu'on la descend, de plus elle n'est pas assez rigide et s’adapte mal dans le renfoncement circulaire prévu pour la soutenir. Il faudrait une grille plus rigide avec des pieds. En résumé, c'est une bonne cuve pour l’ébullition, mais pas du tout pour l’empâtage.

Wir benutzen die Kessel für Glühwein und Punsch. Auslasshahn war mit etwas handwerklichem Geschick gut zu montieren. Topf wirkt sehr stabil. Für uns wäre eine tiefere Lage des Temperatursensors von Vorteill, da momentan die Temperatur bei einer Füllmenge unter zwei Dritteln nicht mehr abgenommen/angezeigt werden kann.

Good product for the price. The o-ring seals for thermometer and valve need some quite much teflon tape to be tight. The bottom plate is also quite thin, this is ok thow as i use it with gas burner. In overall this is good product concidering the price. Would buy again!

GOOD product some poor finishing.

Recieved the pot box was seriously damage but luckily no damage to pot. Assemble according to directions which are lacking all details needed. Ended up with a slow leak on both ports. I took it apart to find large burns on the inside at each punch hole. Needed to sand those down. It also doesn't mention that the stainless internal nuts have groove cut in on one side of the nut that secures the rubber washer. Overall worth the money.

Do not order from the brand. "Once an order is shipped it cannot be changed" meaning there is absolutely ZERO returns or swaps. This may have been in fine print somewhere but i didn't see it prior to giving them my money. I ordered this 16gal and turns out it was way too big, wanted to swap for a 5gal, and I was actually kicked out of the chat after Carlos said "no". This was a reasonable request. Will never buy from the brand again, that's unbelievable.

Reçu en 5j La qualité est top, beaucoup plus épais que Bergland24, trous percés. Pas encore tester, manque juste un panier pour retirer les drèches. Pas encore tester, je dois m'en servir au début en cuve de transfert avant d'y installer une résistance.

Very good quality kettle for the price, I just brewed a 5 gallon batch of ale with it (6.5gal initial boil). It needs a set of volume markings permanently etched or stamped to measure contents during brewing, but valve and thermometer fit and functioned well. It is large and when filled, very difficult to move, but the capacity is great when you are a 10 gallon batch brewer like myself.

Awesome kettle, same quality as Blichmann. The accessories are not the same quality, but the kettle is great. The false bottom will need a support if brewing beer. Great value and way nicer than I was expecting. Bought several more as soon as I received mine and inspected it. 10/10.

The casing looks sturdy. I recommend putting a flat rubber gasket between the metal gasket and the container.

Leaks, but good for what it is.

Beware before you buy and make sure you have plenty of PVC tape to secure the spout and temperature gauge. It leaks pretty bad on its own without any support. Works perfectly once I put the tape on.

J'ai reçu la cuve très rapidement. Je me suis dit que je risquais pas grande chose vu le prix de celle-ci. Et pourtant, cette cuve est d'une très belle qualité, surtout le fond qui est bien épais pour la chauffe. Justement, il faut faire attention à l'inertie lors de la chauffe du fond ceci dû à l'épaisseur. Le thermomètre est relativement précis. Le filtre de robinet est efficace tout comme la plaque du fond de cuve. Je recommande vivement ce produit pour les personnes débutante ou non qui voudraient commencer à brasser ou simplement brasser. Vu la qualité et surtout le prix cela serait bête de ne pas en profiter. Le seul petit regret........ c'est qu'elle ne fasse que 60 litres !!!!!!!!

Ich bin Imker und benutze den Kessel zum Wachsschmelzen und zum Auskochen der Holz-Rähmchen für die Honigwaben.in Waschsoda über einem stabilen Gasbrenner. Es funktioniert wunderbar. Der Kessel lässt sich gut reinigen. Alle Teile passen gut zusammen. Die Qualität ist absolut in Ordnung. Für mich eine perfekte Alternative zu den riesigen Behältern, die für Groß-Imker angeboten werden. Ich bin sehr zufrieden und würde den Kessel jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Great for what it cost

FIRST Go buy thick teflon tape. Heat water in pan and check for leaks. As soon as it got close to a boil it started a slow drip. Had to tighten the crap out of ball value fitting. The through fitting on the pan itself needs to be as tight as possible. False bottom is way too high. After pan was tilted it left about a pint behind.
