Great value but needs adj flipline

This is a great value and well made but you have to purchase an adjustable flip line. I am learning to climb on trees on our acreage. You have to be able to adjust the flipline because it has to be a different length depending on the size of the tree. If you try to use the include blue line you will be frustrated unless you pick the exact right tree. I purchased 16mm Steel Core Flipline, 8ft(2.4m) Arborist Flipline. This kit *should* include this carabiner. You should wear the most solid boots you own - mine are 3/4 steel shank hiking boots - and you must strap the spikes tightly to your boots.

Great spikes

Comfortable easy to use! Great price! I have about seven products! Have an issue with my pole saw right now!

Like Spiderman!

The complete kit for one-third the price of just the spikes. Perfect for casual tree climbers.

Farm Hand

Nice kit but I failed to notice that the harness doesn't have D rings on the side for a fliprope

Kiipeily sarja

Okay but not great

They are reasonably comfortable, but the metal for the spur/spike is really soft. It is essentially a piece of rebar that was bent and welded onto the brace. You can still actually see the ribs on the rebar. The pike tip bench the first time I used it, and when I tried to sharpen it, I was shocked at how quickly the metal was removed with a flapper disc.

Claiming spikes

Like I said with the lifeline, nice quality and perfect for what I have to do around here. Lots of work around my yard.

Great for the price

These spurs are great for the price. Wish they were able to go a bit smaller as im not tall but was able to modify them to work. With the modification they are now comfortable. This would likley not be a problem if you are taller than 5'4". They are very similar to spurs 3x the price and if your not wearing them everyday for work they would br a great option for new climbers or people that need them occasionally.

Homeowner

Works as they should for Home use use take down big oak tree that had died so far they seem good quality

Hög kvalitet på skorna

Jag köpte kittet för skorna/"klätterspikarna". Övriga artiklar har jag inte använt. Skorna är toppen!

Quality tools

I used my harness and spikes the day I received them. Nice thick velcro straps on the tops with a great fitting leather adjustable belt for the feet. This stuff is awesome I recommend to either the novice or expert. You can't beat the price or the quality you get for that price!

Baumkletter Set

Tree Climbing Spikes

product was shipped promptly and arrived just as described. Item is easy to use and works great.

super Baumkletterset, Top Spikes

Top Set fürs Baumklettern, funktioniert sehr gut, super Preis. Schnelle Lieferung. Gerne wieder!

Griffe

Home enthusiasts and farm

They work well. But I had to rotate the foot straps so they were easier to attach. They were going to from the outside on and it makes it hard to put the strap through the backle. So I unbolted them and turned them 180°. Works decent now.
