Works and installs like an OEM would.
Installed easily and bolted right up quickly to replace the old one. Engages and disengages similar to the OEM one. It was a lot quieter than I expected too. Very happy with it, especially for the price over OEM. Mine is a 1992 yamaha g9 for reference.

This clutch is good and smooth alot better than the old one I had my cart runs alot better now

Works fine, however my problem ended up being a rod in the motor sadly it will need to be rebuilt.

Great replacement for my Yamaha G19. Comes with the removal tool. Engages at a bit higher rev but for the price I can't complain.

Yamaha 1998 G16 gas golf cart
Was as described, good price. Installed and works great. It would be nice if they suggested the proper puller with the item. The puller I purchased from another company had the wrong threads.

Great smooth clutch action - changed cart operation to significantly better
I put this clutch on my Yamaha G16 after I got very tired of pushing the weights back down on the OE clutch when they would lock up. Wow, this new clutch (doesn't appear to have weights) is so much smoother at startup and initial movement its just awesome. The new clutch has only been installed 2 weeks so I cant comment on durability yet and I see some negative durability reviews. I will update as needed. I bought the clutch puller tool with the clutch and on my older Yamaha the old clutch released from the engine crankshaft very easily. I did use anti seize on the puller threads to help. The replacement was really very easy.

It works on yamaha g1 but you have to remove oil pump from engine because it dosent have the drive gear for the oil pump and it won't seat properly
