Productbeoordelingen
Not sqaure couldn't use
Well I loved the idea of them but once I went to use them they weren't completely sqaure the material seemed good biggest complaint was that I couldn't use them and ended up building the gate out of wood and screws and ended up leaving them in the box and they are still sitting there. They weren't really cheap either!
Very affordable and quality product!
The gate hinge and stabilizer kits are thes best I've ever found! I used to use a different product and it was big and clunky. It was also very heavy and a bit restricting. These kits that I got are way better! I will reorder and use them for every gate that I build for my business from here in out! Great product!
Easy assembly
I was building a gate for a friend to keep their dog on the porch and to contain grandchildren fro tumbling down steps. 60" in width Afraid anything I built would sag This kit worked perfect and it looked beautiful I did clamp everything tight and in alignment while assembling. Used cedar to keep the weight down
Good Product
I built two gates in my backyard with this product. The product itself worked great and I was impressed with the quality. My only two improvements I would like to see would be higher quality screws in the package, as I used my own, and the ability to properly put a crossbrace between two of the corner pieces.
Herr
Easy gate frames!
Bought it 2weeks ago 10 star rating . So easy to install. Thanks!
Great product
Great product; the door is very easy to assemble with it.
Renovation
This kit is perfect for building a gate for a fence.
Gate kit
Easy to put together and seems quite solid
Pro-DIY’er
These things are a game changer when it comes to 4-5’ walk gates. No sag after 5-6 months of use in the humid South!
General Contractor
This inexpensive gate hardware kit is fantastic. Very simple to use, and very sturdy. I've used these several times and intend to use them anymore.
Made making the gate easy
Overall kit is good, my only complaint is that you cant change the direction of the gate opening Otherwise kit seems decent quality and was easy to install
Myself
This is a nice gate kit! It cane with everything that I needed for my fence gate project. I am very pleased!
No sag gate
This is my 3rd gate installed with this hardware, first one was 3 years ago and still plumb, square and true.
particulier
Kafkaesque Returns Process
This review is not about the product itself, but about the difficulty of the return process. I bought this alongside other options so that I could have several options on hand for my gate building project. This item was not a perfect fit so I’m trying to return it and the process is very difficult / unclear.
Quality brackets with all fasteners included
Double gate built by someone who doesn’t know anything about building gates. Very strong quality corner brackets. The wheels are there for extra measure but it wasn’t sagging. The double gate doors are quite large and have no extra diagonal bracing. Would definitely buy these and recommend these. If your gate is small, this will give structural rigidity for decades.
Pratique
Hinges
Love these . Second time buying. Keeps all my doors square with no sagging
portail
Owner
Not very happy. Hinges only have 2 screw holes which will not hold the weight of cedar boards. There is only room for 2 screws. Then I ordered 2 gate kits for a 2 panel opening. The welded pins in the gate only work one way. The pin direction should be interchangable. Will probably send them back and just build my own frame with hd hinges. Would not allow me to download pictures.
Better than expected!
The metal was much nicer than I anticipated. I wish the hinges were adjustable, but for the price, this was excellent. I would absolutely buy it again.
portail
Great hardware
Heavy duty hardware. A little pricey but seems to be nice material . Will add photos after install and will update quality after use.
Gardener
Bought for the entrance to the garden. Have not set it up yet. But it looks good.
Time saver
Would recommend to any one looking to save time and headache.
Excellent time saver
Didn't really know what to expect but glad I purchased this, made building a gate very easy and the end result is very good.
Solidly constructed bracket meeting high European quality standards.
This door frame support bracket has impressed me with its solid construction and ease of use. It meets European quality expectations and feels like a product designed with real attention to detail.
Bad Gate Frame Experience
the problems started with some of the most appalling instructions (or lack thereof) I have ever seen. any instructions that contain 'start by drilling the pre-drilled holes' really do not inspire confidence (why would you have to drill holes that are pre-drilled?) There was a total lack of information on where / how to locate the hinges (on edge or centre of gate post?). My gate opening was only 76 inches (the kit is supposed to accommodate openings of up to 96 inches) and yet it sags. I have bought a strengthening device from another company and hope that this may make a difference and will never shop the brand again Sometimes half the price does mean half (or less) the quality
Gate Frame
Product make a very sturdy and strong fence gate. Easy Assembly and nice looking.
My 2nd gate build!
I built my first gate at age 73, a year later I built a whimsical gate, both gates were put together with the anti sag gate hardware. The first gate which is heavy hasn’t sagged yet! The new gate was made with a piece of wood from the Panther Creek fire several years ago. It is light and a work in in progress. I am seeking the perfect driftwood or tree wood with unique shapes. When that is done a top piece will be added to make it blend with the fencing around the house.
Weak hinges
Hinges are weak and bend easily. I don’t recommend this product unless you buy heavier duty hinges..
Overall Happy
Gate is pretty good. The hinges are garbage, so plan on getting new ones at Tractor Supply. The only other negative was not having pre-drilled holes for the top and bottom 2x4 screws. For the cost savings, a little extra time and effort was worth it for me.
Just as described
Well made. Put together frame of gate. No problem. Pleased with kit
maintenance
fit and finish is great. well designed. the powder coating is excellent. the hinges are too small. If the hinge would stick out an inch further I could open the gate both directions. if the corners were formed in the uprights this gate would be much more rigid. As is its not bad right now.
Solid product
It's a solid system for a custom size gate. Lots of drilling through heavy metal to fix the desired width but solar no sagging. Only drawback is when you're making a double gate you can't reverse the hinges.
Mr
Easy building the gate no more square needed
Home owner
Couldn't be happier. No one will be disappointed with this gate frame. I used them for small gates and it's prefect. Price and quality is what I was looking for and the brand once again came through. And don't forget free shipping.
Looks great.
Easy to work with. Seems likely they will hold up to use for a long time. Look good.
Fast gate build.
Easy to assemble and good quality. Definitely recommend this product.
maintenance
well made. great paint. very simple to put together. light duty. hinges are very short though. i welded extensions on the post hinge to allow the gate to open both directions.
Easy gate hardware.
Works great.Makes for a strong straight gate. I have two more to build. Update.Finished number 2.
Chicken farmer
Gate kit is great if you're looking for an affordable option, we used reclaimed wood so it was even cheaper for us. Works great, no problems, nice and sturdy.
Garden Gate
This was perfect to enlarge our access to the back yard for maintenance, the ability to adjust the length was very helpfull and the project turned out great
Portillon
Great gate hardware.
This product is of a very high quantity.
Works and Fit fine
Worked well for chicken pen. Screws a little soft, but worked.
Functional and looks good
A little challenging to put together and assemble, but it is durable and adjustable. Looks very nice though and was less expensive than purchasing a gate already together.
Sturdy and comes with everything you need.
So far so good, no issues. I was very pleased with the quality. I would purchase again.
Homeowner
These worked great to make our large gates more sturdy
Retired
I used this product to build a 9 foot cedar panel gate so bought extra screws. The frame allows you to assemble it square but it is not designed for this. Installed diagonal cable to support it. Added cedar boards once gate was installed. I’m pleased but took time to achieve the cedar panel look.
Sturdy and affordable
Sturdy and affordable. Pretty easy to build and attach. No complaints. Would purchase again for sure if I needed another one.
Sturdy gate amazing price
Cheapest gate frame kit you can get that's still nice and sturdy. Not much else to say, was easy to build and attach.
MartinL
this is a great set of internal strengthening brackets with a good powder coated finish. I am going to Mig weld the brackets together using steel plate extensions, making a top and bottom set of four oblong brackets, welded together vertically to make a 1M wide x 2M high garden gate, with the hinges all one side. Then I will clad the brackets outside and between with 70mm and 95mm wood. Then I will totally enclose the wood and brackets with sky blue wood grain composite fibre boards. Thanks to the bracket set, they will support a good solid composite gate.
Mr
Works great even fully loaded extended I used 8’ dog ears on it and it opens and closes flawlessly without any sag! I’m very pleased!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
