Easy to install and great product
Bought it for my 22 foot lobster boat , took half an hour to install, used it all summer and works great and still going strong. I couldn't buy the cable alone for a similar product that is almost identical for the price I got this whole unit .

collaudatore
Montato facilmente su una barca molto vecchia. Movimento fluido. Ottimo prodotto
Sistema dirección mecánica barco
Buen precio, aparenta buena calidad. Por el momento muy buen producto
direction

Outboard steering
Works great. Easy Install. Exactly what my boat needed
Good quality
I bought it to use on my boat and it worked perfectly. It's not difficult to install, if you know the basics of mechanics anyone can install it.
Mr
Easy to install. Great value for the money. I put a nicer steering wheel on it as the provided one is a bit basic. To be expected for the price. Great value and quality after 2 years of use with a 25hp yamaha so far.
You get what you pay for
Can't beat the price, but you would think with this being a marine steering helm that all the hardware would be stainless steel, but it's not. Also a good 3 inches of play in the steering as well
Complete Package
This kit was the complete package. I am a female who knows nothing about these things and was able to properly install this with no issues at all!! I impressed myself and highly recommend this kit to anyone who may need it. Easy to install, shipped quickly, very sturdy and looks really nice. I would definitely purchase this again if needed. I will be using the brand again!!
bon produit

Boat owner
Replaced a cable system works great. Must have miss measured was a little longer than I need but was able to make it work.
Mr.
Easy to install and great price. It was definitely worth the money and it did come with instructions.
Excellent !
Return policy
The return policy is anything but hassle free. You might get a percentage returned but that’s it. The tech dept said a 13 ft would fit, yet when I pulled the old steering cable it was marked 12 ft. I tried to cancel and return the 13ft they said would fit. It took a couple weeks just to get a partial return.
Great product and great price
I converted my pully system aluminum boat over to this contemporary style and it was very straightforward. It works flawlessly with my 20hp Mercury outboard. I would recommend this product. My only advice is not to tighten the nut that goes in the center of the steering wheel to hold on the wheel. If you tighten it too much, there is too much friction and it grinds the plastic. So adjusting that was crucial in order to easily steer the boat.
Ms
Working well at replacing a 7215 cable which is no longer available. It fit right into the mastercraft boat and seems to be working very well so far.
Worked out on my boat!
I have a 16’2” boat I did think it would bend a slight bit more, I had to cut out some fiberglass to make it fit. Not sure if it was short just a few inches or not. But I’ve been using for a year, no issues. I did upgrade the steering wheel to a stainless version
Great Item
Product works great, unfortunatley I will have to return mine as I got a rack and pinon style steering. This one is a rotary style.
Mr
2nd one easy to use and set up in both my boats . I would recommend to anyone not looking to break the bank and wheel feels good too.
Nice
Chuck
This system arrived as promised. Everything was included and installed easily. Some small minor modifications were needed but were easy to accomplish and everything is working fine. The cowling that is installed below the steering wheel was too high because my console is fairly thick and the cowling ride too high.. i shaved the plastic to reduce the height and it works fine.. This appears to be a quality product and I am happy with the purchase.
