J’en ai acheté un pour le tester.Je l’ai Installé pour stabiliser un passage automobile sur terrain exposé aux ruissèlements violents. Ma première impression c’est que ca a l’air correct tant sur la qualité, l’efficacité que sur le prix. Malheureusement, l’avis définitif dans un an …!
Easy to use
Use: extending the parking area Easy to use and simple to fill. I found that lightly placing a shovel of gravel in each chamber gives the best results. Add more gravel as a few chambers fill up. If you are too aggressive the Grid can lift and stones get underneath. It's a bear to get it flat afterwards. Strong and lightweight. I will be buying more to use as a shed floor instead of concrete. Much easier to work with. The grid was easily cut with heavy scissors. I held it in place and stretched out with 12" pieces of re-bar. I pulled the grid out of the box the day before to let it 'relax'. I suggest you do the same. Stretch it out fully before moving into place.

I needed to correct and stabilize a ground area that needed building up to solve water issues due to volume traffic. This product did the trick. Very pleased. I recommend. Another great product from the brand.

Great solution for driveway slope
Pinned 8oz non woven geotextile on a smoothed and tamped slope that had been eroding. Then used about 200 J hook rebar (18” and 24” at crest and 16” throughout rest of cells) to hold cells in place which was probably overkill. Filled two 25-foot sections of geocells with 7 yards of 3/4” washed native stone 1” proud of cell walls. Lightly tamped rocks so they set/settle. The two geocell sections come with connectors and they worked fine. A big DIY job but cheaper and as attractive and stable as a professional landscaper could do. I dug a 6”x6 trench at top of slope to place geotextile into and backfilled to prevent water from running beneath it, by the way, and geocells were placed just at the edge of the trench’s downslope side.

Having a mud problem in one specific area where the horses walk regularly, this did a fantastic job!
No way to break out
We’re using this for the dog went in the back and it’s excellent. Best choice ever we have Huskies and they like to dig and this is the best deterrent.

I purchased geogrid from three different manufacturers. All performed perfectly, so buy whichever is cheapest.
There Are Better Solutions
This retainer is a great idea if you have 100% level land, and are prepared to take forever to slowly install it. Each grid has to be 1/2 filled before you move on to stretching a pegging the next square, which works well if you are doing a sidewalk, not so good when you are trying not to die in the sun laying a gravel driveway or shed base.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
This product has worked well so far. I am using it on a fairly steep slope and filling it with 3/4" blue granite rock. Looks great. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to use minimum, 24" rebar. It would be nice if the brand provided the anchor or made them available as I had to hunt down the rebar later. Recommend this product.

It is very thin and flimsy to lay properly on the ground with no anchoring/nailing provision provided. Certainly not suitable for gravel. Plus it is overly priced for what it is.

Malheureusement nous ne sommes pas satisfait. Ça n’a pas assez de regidite et les espaces créés sont trop grande. Les petites roches bougent énormément. Nous devrons vivrent avec car c’est un stationnement pour la roulotte.

Cheaper than alternatives and great product
Used with angular small gravel to create a level surface upon which to build a small greenhouse. 8x8 timber placed on top of this gravel grid functioned as the perfect base to build up on. Would buy again for future projects.

Driveway Substructure
Great product combination. Ground cover fabric is commercial- grade and exactly what I need for driveway base cover. matched with 3" geo-cell on top for total of 4 1/2" gravel infill. Here is a final layout before gravel comes tomorrow. Compacted sub-base with plate compactor, then sand bedding for pavers. Redi-Mix Cement perimeter of borders. the Geo Cell will give lateral support and stability to gravel in-fill. 1-1 1/2 inch fill above the geo-cell, you wont see it.

Decent product for the price
I used this grid to hold gravel on a hill in our driveway. The hill leads to a new concrete apron that was 4" above the original driveway. The grid made it so I could build up the gravel to the new apron, without it spreading out to the sides. It was pretty simple to install. It holds the gravel the way it should. I have had semis and gravel trucks drive over it with zero issues. In the photo you get an idea of how it works. I used three pieces, 2 full ones end to end, and another cut in half with the two halves laid end to end. Two caveats, yohile you fill itu solid, packed base, and you need good anchors to hold it in place while you fill it.
Easy to Install and Works as Advertised
I needed a sidewalk in front of my house, didn't want to use concete or asphalt, and chose instead to use the grid filled with gravel. The grid holds the gravel in place and allowed for easy tamping to level it. I used mulch and rock glue to provide a more stable surface, and the whole project turned out better than expected. I wanted to flare each end of the walkway, and by adjusting how the grid is stretched or compressed allowed me to easily get the look I was going for. I bought two, attached them together lengthwise, and used a sawzall to cut off the excess. The whole project was quickly accomplished and was clearly enhanced by the grid. Glad I found this product, and I'll use it again if another need arises.

It’s in the review…
It was quite easy to install and used with 1” crusher run and it basically turned into concrete. After putting down the cells, I filled each cell and then use a plate compactor directly over that. Once all the cells were full, I went back and added another inch to 2 inches and plate compacted it again. I was using my riding mower with a trailer to shuttle the rock weighing at least over 800 pounds and I didn’t even see tire prints at that point. This cells held up fine and I was even able to drive on it as soon as the cells were full even before being compacted the first time. The only real downside with it was that they come with these little black pieces in a bag to lock different sections together, and of the five boxes I bought three of those baggies had got lost where the boxes were damaged upon delivery. I will say, though, that there were enough clips in a single bag that I didn’t need any of the other bags. I had some good photos and a video, but the website won’t let me upload any of my stuff because they were taken on an iPhone and doesn’t meet the size requirements…

Hat sich ganz gut verarbeiten lassen. Ich hatte erwartet, daß die Felder kleiner sind. Ob es funktioniert, steht noch aus, da erst das befahren im Frühjahr zeigt, ob es funktioniert.
Avoid!!
Absolutely rubbish product if you’re planning to use them on a driveway. Very cheap material that comes up through the stone after being driven over a few times. Plastic clips used for joining are not fit for purpose as they break in half with the slightest bit of pressure. Had to use cable ties for joining. Wasted over a €1000 on these.

La qualité a l'air pas mal par contre rien pour le tenir au sol quand on verse les cailloux a l'intérieur le stabilisateur bouge et remonte si le sol et pas parfaitement plat les bords remonte Déçu de mon achat je vais trouver une solution pour le fixer au sol.

This geocel is a heavy duty plastic with no adjoining drainage holes So I'm not sure how well it will hold up on a slope Prefer the previous geo cell structure in that it is lighter weight with adjoining drainage holes between the cells and constructed to a higher quality Be glad to review again after a few months since I did use it and did not have the time to send it back since weather was deteriorating. Time will tell

Ordered this to help retain gravel on the sloping sides of a pond and it worked extrelmely well. Very fast delivery and clear instructions. I was able to cut it into shorter sections and fit them together with the olatic rivets that were included.
