Using two of these for the engine hatch on my boat. So far, they work great. They are quiet and more than capable of the job. The only downside is they open and close very slowly! But for the price, can’t be beat!

Reliable actuator for heavy loads, but movement speed is slow

This actuator has been working well in a real-world application where reliability matters more than speed. I'm using it to lift a door weighing approximately 200 lbs, and it has been operating consistently for several months without any issues. The actuator feels solid, and the included mounting hardware made installation straightforward. Once installed, it has provided enough force to move the load without struggling. The only significant drawback is speed. While it has plenty of lifting power for my application, it moves fairly slowly. In my setup, it takes approximately 1.2 minutes to fully open the door. Depending on your project, that may be perfectly acceptable or it may feel too slow. For my use, reliability was more important than opening speed. The actuator has otherwise performed as expected and has been dependable during regular operation. Cons: Slow travel speed Not ideal for applications where quick movement is important Bottom line: If you need a reasonably powerful actuator for moving heavier loads and don't mind slower operation, this is a solid option. It has been reliably lifting a 200 lb door in my installation for months without problems.

Bought it for my new 54\\" front mount 54\\" JD snowblower. Yes, it works fine, not quite as long a stroke as it should have been, but then it was my first snowblower and what did I know? Installed, functional, works great! I liked it so much I bought the company...oops, nope, that was somebody else). Instead, I just bought another one with a longer stroke (6\\") and when it gets here it should make me smile again ;-). Yep, I would buy definitely would buy/recommend.....depending on your use, of course.
