Yea my pump came covered in oil too. I powered this pump with a 1.5HP 1750 RPM motor. Using a 6.25" pulley on that 1750 RPM motor results in 1041 RPM on the pump. I was pleasantly surprised to see the pump achieved 9.2CFM @ 90psi at this speed (formula adjusted for atmospheric pressure @ 1000m above sea level). You could easily underdrive the pump for longevity and still exceed the modestly advertised 5.8 As long as the pump lasts, it's a great buy.

Excellent product!

After 6 years of operation my 26 gallon Kobalt Quiet Tech called it quits so ordered this up as an alternative to buying an entirely new setup. As others have said, took a bit of modification to the base plate for install, but other than that it’s a simple fix and a great alternative to entire replacement. Bonus: quieter than original and has slightly larger displacement. Buy it and swap out your old one, no regrets!

Very Quiet Compressor Upgrade with One Minor Limitation

This compressor pump and motor assembly worked great for my project. I used it to repair a broken Kobalt air compressor that I picked up on Facebook Marketplace for a steal. The original compressor pump had completely failed and had actually overheated badly enough to catch fire. This unit was nearly a direct replacement, using the same mounting holes as the original pump, so installation was straightforward. The first thing I noticed was how incredibly quiet it is. I was honestly surprised. You can stand right next to the compressor while it's running and carry on a normal conversation without raising your voice. For a small air compressor, that's exceptional. The dual-piston design built into the motor housing provides a smooth, consistent airflow, and the overall layout is very similar to the California Air Tools style compressors. If you're repairing or modifying a similar compressor, there's a good chance this unit will fit with little or no modification. Air output is adequate for general shop use. Performs as advertised

Pump works as expected, my compressor actually works better that it has ever done from new. its taking 4 1/2 mins to fill a 100lt tank to 8bar and is able to constantly supply my sand blast cabinet with 115 psi . Happy with the purchase.

Replacement air coompressor

Replaced my Craftsman compressor with the air compressor motor Max 145PSI. Super quiet. A little slower to fill, but I think if I increase the size of the pressure tube to match the compressor, it should fill faster.

I see in the questions somebody ask can it run anti clockwise. They were told no. But I ask the support the same question and please see photo for what they sent me. Can they please put an arrow on the pulley so you can tell direction of roration.

Ottima portenza di carica aria..Per me è un buon prodotto qualità prezzo. la casa madre consiglia un motore elettrico da 3hp ma io prima di sostituire il motore elettrico ho provato ha utilizzare il motore pre esistente da 2hp sulla bombola di carico.Se non si fa un utilizzo molto gravoso va bene anche un motore mono fase da 2hp di buona qualità.

Heb de compressorpomp van mijn compressor vervangen door een pomp van Vervor omdat mijn pomp erg veel herrie maakte. Hij was vrij makkelijk te monteren, en de tank is zo vol en maakt veel minder herrie. Ik ben er blij mee, goede pomp voor een redelijke prijs.

Good pump

I build a crompressor with this pump i use a 3 hp motor and serch for a use tank. It run between 105 psi to 140 psi and do a good job. The only down part is the drain plug is not a good place dain but overhall is a very good buy for my diy home shop!

Works well and good quality.

My old compressor reached end of the line and then I decided to build better new one and of corse needed new pump block. Quality/price -ratio is good and no obvious shortcomings or quality problems. Produces air quite fast. Shaft rotation is counter- clockwise and output is 3/4". It does not vibrate a lot when running. I use compressor mineral oil wit this unit and seems to work with no problems. Pumping 50 liter tank from 8 to 10 bar only takes about 30 seconds. I have not yet used this a lot, so far I'm satisfied and can recommend this product. Quick delivery.

Habe das Aggregat gekauft, da ich einen defekten Elektra Beckum Verdichter hatte, wo die Kolben defekt waren. Ersatz f_ den alten Verdichter war nicht mehr zu bekommen.Dieser Verdichter machte einen guten Eindruck und kam Recht flott an in einer robusten Holzkiste.Die Verarbeitung ist nicht das Highlight des Produktes und man sollte vor dem Einbau ein paar Dinge pr_en und ggf. _erstehende Reste vom Aluguss entfernen. Auch darauf achten, dass das Ger?t nicht vor-geschmiert ist und man am besten vor der ersten Benutzung ein Mal die Kopfdichtung entfernt und die Zylinder etwas mit ?l bestreicht. Auch w_de ich f_ die ersten Stunden eine niedrige Drehzahl empfehlen, damit die Kolben und Zylinder Zeit zum ein laufen haben.Die K_lung sollte durch Bleche auf den Verdichter konzentriert werden, da der L_ter die Luft leider sehr stark verwirbelt.Ich f_le mit dem Aggregat 120 Liter auf 9Bar in 1:30 Minuten bei 3200upm und einem 4KW 3ph Motor.

Remplacement de la pompe sur mon compresseur 150L de marque diff_ente (Devilbiss) mais avec moteur 3kW. Il a juste fallu adapter les trous de fixation.

i Bought this to replace a pump that stopped. I had to redrill 3 holes to mount one aligned. I had to reroute air lines as the port was different. It pumps good and works as should

Need to send instructions along with ur product

This is a replacement pump had to drill new holes so it would work on my compressor but it works good and quieter than my original one. Works as expected so far. No instructions what so ever so be prepared to DIY with ur own knowledge.

Quick and Quiet

This compressor pump runs quieter than my other compressor perhaps due to a foam air filter as opposed to a paper type , and it builds up quickly . The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it doesn't have a crankcase vent and that makes it take the better part of 2 hours to fill it with oil with much spillage . Changing the oil will be a chore . I've never had one without a vent before . The oil cap serves as the running vent so it works well but without a separate vent to allow air to escape the crankcase the thing just takes forever to fill up . J.B.
