Right off the bat this was the best solar cover I ever purchased, hands down. I’ve been thru at least 6-8 solar covers since building our in-ground pool and most of them more expensive. Typically I purchase heavy (thicker) ones but none have lasted more than one year, two tops. So if I get a full season out of this one, I’ve got my money’s worth. The last cover I bought was so thick you had to eat a can of spinach before attempting to roll it up due to the weight. Also the last one was silver which may have held in the heat well but was totally worthless for adding heat in the sun. So after trying out clear and silver, I decided to go back to the blue standby, and I can already see the temperature rising in just a few hours. But here’s the part that makes this one stand out above ALL other covers I’ve bought, the cover was EXACTLY the right dimensions, no trimming needed and trying to keep a straight edge. Let me repeat, PERFECT DIMENSIONS, I ordered 32 x 16 and received 32 x 16 not 32 x 17 or 32 x 16.5 it was exactly 32 x 16 !!!!! But if you like trimming to size, this is not the cover for you. Great quality!!

Much better quality than my last "Sun2sunSolar" one. This material is heavier and thicker which also makes it handle better to reel it in/out. Of course it was more expensive but if the bubble tops stay put it will be worth it. I recommend this solar cover!

THE BEST SOLAR COVER EVER!

My household has had a pool since 2001 & historically, has used the blue solar covers to heat our pool This cover (product) is by far the VERY BEST that we have used in 25 years. If I had known that there was a cover this thick, THIS STURDY, & that hasn’t shed any bubble dots!!!; I would have never used any of the prior inferior covers. Buy this cover & rest assured that you made a great purchase!!!

I bought other solar covers and they helped some but this one is great! This one is thicker than most of the others I tried and it seems more durable, holds heat better, and my pool is staying cleaner. I trimmed the edges to fit just inside my pool and it is working perfectly. Hopefully it lasts a few seasons.

Smaller than expected but keeps pool warm

Overall I like this cover however, the dimensions seem to be smaller than other covers I've previously bought. this 32x16 seems to be 31x15 at best which leaves sections of my pool uncovered. That said even with recent 30deg swings in temp (95-100 day to 62 overnight) I only lost about 2deg over night maintaining a pool temp of 85 at 2ft below surface ( wife says too warm but I like it :-) . Will buy bigger size in 3-4years

El agua de mi piscina suele estar fría y tenia pensado instalar algún sistema de calefacción externa pero por mi sorpresa la cubierta solar calentó el agua unos diez grados ademas de protegerla de la suciedad exterior su funcionamiento es el siguiente: mientras le esta dando el sol va calentando la superficie y al tener la depuradora en marcha hace que el agua recircule y se vaya calentando por igual ademas que al ponerla por la noche ayuda a mantener el calor y que no se enfríe tanto

So glad to get this. It's quite a bit thicker and stiffer than regular bubble wrap pool insulator, and it seems to help with keeping debris out of the pool.

Noticeably Reduced Heat Loss

After several days of use, I noticed the pool held its temperature better overnight and there was less evaporation. It was easy to trim for a better fit and has held up well so far. Happy with the purchase.

Very easy to cut to size. Expected as basically only thick bubble wrap. That said, it does the job. Not yet disintegrated by UV, or chlorine, etc. Holding up well, but only been in use for 6 months. Would benefit from a border, but then you’d be looking at made to measure prices. Quality is good at a reasonable price.
