Brilliant bit of kit I found it very good on my lawn. The quality and price were both excellent and it did a great job of rooting out moss and dead grass.

Works with Zero Turn mower with one modification

If you are wanting to use this for a zero turn mower you will need much more height for the hitch - Solution: Mount the hitch brackets ON TOP of the cultivator tray, NOT UNDERNEATH! Your welcome! :)

I placed my order 27th of April with estimated shipping of 5-10 days. When it arrived ca 3 weeks after order, it was the wrong item. I explained what happend by sending in a ticket with the promise that you would get back to me within 48h. This was 10 days ago. Whit is happening?????

It's a piece of junk. My view of the product as professional engineer. Poor design. No facility to adjust down force or penetration of the rakes. Unreachable lift handle from tractor seat Terrible assembly instructions. Missing axle nuts. Non-existent return policy which is what I would do if I could.

Homeowner

The instructions are not great. It becomes clear how it has to go together but the instructions are not the best. Quality seems good used it and it worked well as I towed it behind my ride on mower.

Très bien pour le prix

M'a permis de nettoyer mon grand terrain efficacement et sans effort. J'adore cet outil! Par contre, je laisse 4 étoiles pour les raisons suivantes: -J'ai du remplacer les boulons pour les roues car d'un côté, le boulon d'origine se dévissait et de l'autre, devenait très serré et empêchait la roue de tourner. La noix autobloquante de nylon n'est pas efficace. - Le levier pour abaisser ou monter le plateau est moue/facile à torde. Il faut faire attention. - Instruction de montage pas très détaillé. Conseil: monter globalement en vissant a la main et lorsque tout semble correct, serrer tout les boulons.

Instruction book incomprehensible

Only problem is the instruction book, impossible to assemble the unit with this, had to watch video on UTube.

Quality of the parts are decent. Only downfall are the instructions. You pretty much have to improvise with trial and error.

It needs to be stronger

First time I used it the arm bent and the wheels kept dragging to the point thaf that the axle bolts are now also bent

Don’t waste your money !!

Bought this and it works okay but it’s constantly falling back down when adjusted to tow mode to move to the next area. Tried everything different bolts and washers tightened them to the max and nothing absolute garbage. Don’t even think about putting any weight on it it just makes it go lopsided. This is my first purchase from the brand I’ve been extremely dissatisfied. Trying to return it and they’ve been giving me the run around for 2 weeks now! DO NOT BUY!!

Matériel qualitatif pour le prix. Notice de montage un peu moyenne, j'ai dû m'aider des photos du produit sur le site. Je m'en suis servi 2 ou 3 fois pour l'instant , fait le job. J'apprécie la possibilité de régler l'assiette du plateau/griffes

It arrived early. Instructions were not the best but the video was much better. Did any excellent job on my lawn. Surprised on how much thatch it raked up.

Needed to reseed my entire backyard and it cut my job in half. Worked great!

Works ok

I used 48 inch dethatcher for the first time. It does work however the handle is pretty useless to move it up and down when it’s waited with concrete blocks.. other than that it works fine so far and I haven’t had any problems or issues. I will say it does help to cut the grass relatively short and then sweep the yard completely before beginning detaching I found it if you did not do this the detect will get clogged up and wouldn’t be effective very quickly.

Works pretty good

Doesn’t work like I hoped on pine needles but does what it’s supposed to. Worked better after I strapped a piece of 4x6 piece of wood to the top of it for weight.

This is a great product easy together and does a great job of thatching the lawn

Stage all parts and hardware before assembly

Overall build was easier than anticipated and came with the hitch pin which i didn't expect. The tool is very rugged and did a great job on the lawn. Highly recommend this item

Great value

Great product for the price and excellent value overall. I have a fairly large yard with a ton of thatch so manually racking wasn't an option. I was able to assemble this using the instructions. Assembly did take 30-40min. I was able to remove a good amount of thatch from the yard without any added weight or tearing up the yard although one of the tines did come loose. I will need to see if that is a common occurrence or a one-off due to not tightening enough. So that is one thing to keep an eye out for. I may come back and bump it down to 4 stars if that is a common issue.

Great Product

Little fiddly to put together but well worth the effort. Made short work of de thatching the lawns. Able to add a couple of bricks on top to increase pressure on the prongs. For the money this is an excellent product. Highly recommend.

The Tow Behind Dethatcher works ok, needs extra weight to make it more stable. I have strapped a couple of old fence posts to it with tough straps. Can be awkward to move around once the extra weight is applied.

de montagehandleiding mocht iets duidelijker maar al bij al is het goed gekomen. Ivm de levering heb ik geen bericht gekregen dat het pakket onderweg was en ook niet dat het geleverd was. Binnen enkele dagen ga ik het uitproberen maar het ziet er wel degelijk uit dus ik verwacht geen problemen

Surprisingly effective, but still hard work

This device was surprisingly effective at collecting hay. Assembly was relatively simple (took half and hour) although some of the instructions needed some inspiration to determine. In operation behind an ATV, it requires breeze-blocks or other weights to be placed on the platform (as instructed) in order to function effectively. Each time a swath of hay is collected, the weighted have to be removed and the entire device lifted to remove the collected hay. That is hard work, slightly dangerous and time-consuming. A handle to tilt the tines backwards would be a great development on the next generation of this machine. The handle to lift and lower the tines is not very effective as it bends too much in use. Some stiffening should be added by the manufacturer. All told, decent value for money. Better than manual raking in my case..

Very solid piece of equipment once assembled and does the job well. Instructions hard to follow, better diagrams would help. Had a couple of missing /incorrect nuts and a missing coach bolt but was able to complete the construction using a few of my own stock. Anyone without such items might struggle. Basically good value solid construction and fit for purpose.
