Overall, I'm pretty impressed with the quality of this item. I will say the connector for the two pipes is loose and does feel a little bit cheap. The thickness of the material is cheap so I don't think you will be able to lift any types of logs or trees over a foot or more in diameter, but I feel like it will definitely get the job done just to lift it off the ground to cut it into smaller logs.

It’s a beast.

I’ve used this a lot recently, cleaning up fallen trees. It’s a heavy duty steel tool and it isn’t light. It can handle any log that I have the strength to roll.

I paid less than half for this that I would have for a brand name one. I use it daily, and it does just what it should. I have turned some long18-22 inch logs with ease. It may not last forever, but it was only 40 bucks.

Very durable. I even rolled logs that are bigger than advertised. There are no assembly instruction that come with it so it was a bit unclear how the bolts should go. I couldn't get the bar grip fully seated. I'm sure there is a trick but nothing said.

Ursprünglich gekauft, um gegengekippte Bäume per Drehzapfen wegzudrehen. Das funktioniert nur bedingt bei größeren Durchmesser. Ansonsten greift der Haken nicht. Zum Aufbocken liegender Stämme aber optimal, selbst große Kiefern lassen sich mit Schmackes anheben. Viel besser als auf dem Boden zu sägen, sowohl für Kette als auch Rücken. Hätte ich schon früher kaufen sollen.

Reçu aujourd'hui et il me semble que ça va faire le travail. Mais avez vous mis les 3 boulons comme sur la photo ? Avec le seul boulon m10 de mis, ca laisse le crochet libre et donc je ne vois pas l'utilité des 2 m8.

Funktioniert aber nicht so gut wie erhofft. Die Arbeitshöhe verbessert sich. Die unter Auflage ist aber zu kurz. Dadurch kippt der Fällheber schon mal um. Auch muss man aufpassen das man ihn passend zwischen den Schnitten Positioniert und nicht mit der Kette an den Fällheber kommt. Der zweite Griff ist praktisch. Mit dem Gewinde gibt es kein Problem. Die Funktion der mitgelieferten Spitzen schraube habe ich aber noch nicht verstanden.

Got this one to replace my old faithful peavy. For the price you can throw it in the truck with no worries of damaging it. Handle is sturdy and works really good rolling logs.

I have not used this yet but as a landscaper who uses and destroys many tools I can tell you right now this is very well built. Anyone serious about their tools first looks at the thickness of the steel so here goes. The hook, support leg, and stabilizer bar are all made of solid 3/8 steel bar stock. All the mount brackets are 3/16 on each side giving the equivalent of 3/8 thickness in terms of load. Both the main tube and the bottom foot are 1/8 tube steel with an outside diameter of 1-5/16" and are very heavy duty. My initial concern when I ordered it was about the point where the two halves of the handle connect. This is where the engineer was very clever and used a solid steel adapter which appears to go into each tube 2 inches at the connection point. Further, they used heavy machine threads on each side of adapter so it can be torqued very tightly. The connection where the threads meet begins about 1" into the lower tube and continues another inch into the lower tube, spreading the load at the connection point over about 2 inches into each segment. This is well engineered and and I am confident it will hold up. As for functionality, the diameter of the tubing is very comforta…

Honestly I dont see any surprise , couple lock nuts and bring on the saw... so much better being able to easily maneuver the log to keep it off the ground so not to hit the dirt and stones with the chain. Alot easier on the back .

I am impressed with the feeling of quality. It is a bit heavy but heft is necessary to do the job intended. Assembly is straight forward and I cannot see the reviews knocking the product.

Seems sturdy, the metal piece was slightly dented but its nothing thats going to effect its use. The box it came in was a mess. The hook was poking out the side. They could have done a better job packing it up. Overall nice tool.
