Fantastic. This is the best chimney clean we've had since the heater was installed in 2011. Twice yearly cleans by the "professionals" obviously hadn't been doing the job but it now burns like it is brand new. The only downside is it takes more than two hands to separate the pieces when you pull it apart. Would thoroughly recommend it.

Best chimney sweep I own
You just need a drill, and this sweep works pretty well. I only had manual ones before but those are a bit cumbersome to use.
Invaluable tool
Invaluable tool, only issue is comes apart when transversing 2 90 degree bends in chimney. Tricky to remove when this occurs.

Chimney Sweep Kit
When I found out how much a chimney sweep wanted to clean the chimney, my son suggested ordering this tool to clean it. It didn't come apart as somebody else posted. He attached it to his battery operated drill (I think that was the tool he used) and worked this tool in an up/down motion along the the walls of the chimney trying to get anything hanging on. I believe it did the job as expected.

Excellent piece of kit. Clips securely together so no screw-threads to come loose while you're using it. No special appliance needed. Works well with a medium, handyman size battery drill. Sturdy construction and comes in a storage bag. More than paid for itself with one sweep. Should've bought one years ago and saved a fortune in chimney sweeping service.

yes, you'll want a screwdriver or something to press a pin when the joints get cranky, but for the price, that minor inconvenience doesn't matter much. Simple, easy, quick and effective to use
Useful chimney rods and brush
These are good quality items at a reasonable price. They are easy to use and do the job. The flail type brush makes it easy to sweep a piped flu through the stove as it will easily fit through into the flu.

er nem at bruge og tar nemt løst sod i skorstenen . kan ikke ta løbesod . med mindre at man lige modificerer den lidt . ved at fjerne plastik strimlerne og sætter noget tyndt wire i i stedet for . lavede wire længden i samme længde som hullet skal være i skorstenen feks 180 mm . havde noget der sad meget fast satte en lille stump kæde i wiren og kørte op og ned og skorstenen var lige som ny . man må ikke holde stille med kæde på da den så æder sig ind i skorstenen

Bought this months ago wanted to wait until I actually used it I have never cleaned my chimney Aprox 25 yrs. I tried the long handle type you use from the top but just didn’t get the job done and the m not so good at heights any more I wish I took pics before hand it’s hot so just wanted to get it done but put it this was the ash in chimney was so high at the bottom it was above the clean out door aprox 2’ give or take And creasole was everywear all over the pipe this tool was so easy to use and did such a great job cleaned right down to the liner Whole job took about a 1/2 hr My only recommendation is to use a electric drill I used my dewalt impact driver and kept over heating it This is 100% the fastest easiest way I could have done it local guys wanted 179.00 just to expect it and 500-900 depending how bad it was I did it out door by the clean out door you could remove pipe but definitely use plastic and tape a lot of dust

Excellence as described little to no effort required , all parts come ready to operate almost instantly . Assembly is incredibly simple but works so very well rods lock together with no effort and do not separate either , done the Chimney twice and it cleans it way better than my twist together rods will ever do and much cleaner you do not dirty your hands such a well thought out design highly recommended . i give this a well deserved 5 stars all round and rightly so for the very low affordable cost and swift delivery . I’m now a chimney sweep!
After trying to sweep my chimney with a traditional chimney brush and rods, which required a treacherous climb on a steep roof, I unknowingly swept only a small portion of creosote from the chimney which caused a chimney fire that night! Scary! After much reading and searching I decided to try this method. I was able to completely clean out all the creosote (about three times the amount from my original sweep) from inside the house. No climbing on the roof, no ladders, and using the plastic sheeting provided, not much mess in the house. I do recommend this device. I have never had a woodstove or cleaned a chimney myself before this year. When creosote started showing up, I began to panic about getting on top of my roof in freezing weather. I hooked up this product to my drill and had my chimney super clean in less than a half hour! So worth it! I chucked out the free, standard metal chimney brushes after I used this! It came in a nice storage bag to keep everything tidy and the directions were easy to follow!

Prevent one of the most significant causes of house fire
Chimney fires are destructive, deadly and extremely difficult to extinguish, so I use this kit once a year to clean the creosote buildup out of my chimney. It's dirty work (think Mary Poppins) and involves getting on the roof, removing the chimney cap and using a battery-powered drill to work your way down the chimney from the top, installing additional segments of rod as you go.Tape a sheet of plastic over the opening of your fireplace and make sure it's as airtight as possible, unless you want to clean a fine layer of creosote off literally every surface in your house later.This kit is a good value for the money, the brushes are a bit flimsy but I only use it once a year so it's good enough.

What a game changer. The thought of cleaning my stove pipe was one thing i put off. No more and never again. This unit was so easy to use. It was fast and did an amazing job. We were getting smoke back into the house . I dreaded how to clean out pipe. I bought this and in 5 minutes my pipe was clear and drafting like it did when the pipe was new. I have bought a second unit now for even greater length. This is truly a safety item forwood burning stoves.

Easy to Use for DIY
It was easy to use on my wood stove chimney pipe. Disassembled pipe on inside of house, and cleaned upward. Cut a small hole in a plastic bag, taped around pipe to catch the soot. Works great and saves a lot of money over hiring a service.
