I bought them when I purchased the cutter/bender tool, thinking I'd wear out blades quickly cutting hundreds of sticks of rebar. I am still on the original set, so now I have a life time supply of cutter blades.

Asset Manager
Rebar cutter has been in use for about 2 weeks, with very heavy use. Job reporting that it has been performing very well and has had no problems with up to 3/4" rebar. We don't have any 1" on this site to try it on. The job is very happy with its substantial construction, ease of use, and consistent performance. It is very important to properly read & implement the OMM instructions for safe and consistent cuts. It cuts quick and accurately and is light enough to move around the jobsite.

Unschlagbar günstig! Ich habe jahrelang eine Markenschere für über 2.000 Dollar benutzt. Die hat schließlich den Geist aufgegeben, also habe ich mich nach vielen positiven Bewertungen für dieses Modell entschieden. Ich bin wirklich beeindruckt. Die Schere ist schnell und wirkt sehr robust. Ich habe bereits mehrere hundert Stahlstäbe der Stärke 4 geschnitten, und sie ist jeden Cent wert. Auch Stahlstäbe der Stärke 5 habe ich problemlos damit geschnitten. Ich werde sie bei Bedarf definitiv wieder kaufen. Eine Stahlschere und ein Stahlbindegerät sind die perfekte Lösung.

Imbattibile per il prezzo. Ho usato per molti anni la cesoia di marca migliore che costava oltre 2.000 dollari. Alla fine ha ceduto, quindi ho deciso di provare questa dopo aver letto molte recensioni positive. Tutto quello che posso dire è che sono molto colpito. La cesoia è veloce. Tutto sembra solido. Ho già tagliato diverse centinaia di tondini per cemento armato n. 4 e sembra valere ogni centesimo. Ho tagliato anche alcuni tondini n. 5 senza problemi. La ricomprerò sicuramente se necessario in futuro. Una cesoia per cemento armato e una pistola per legare i tondini sono la soluzione ideale.

Cuts #5 rebar in 2 seconds! Truly a godsend if you have arthritis and were using a manual cutter.

Cutting #4 rebar manually was doable but my structural engineer threw #5 into the mix this year. Cutting #5 manually takes every ounce of energy and really hurts both my knee and back. I just bought this cutter and OMG, this is incredible!!! I should have bought one of these years ago. It zips through #5 rebar in about 2 seconds. Do yourself a favor and by one of these. For just a little more than the cost of a manual cutter, you can totally avoid the aggravation of manual cutting. We're building an off-the-grid ICF medieval castle (Keene Castle). If you screw up a wall measurement and you have to remove some of the ICF block, you may have some bar sticking out of the wall that is still wired in. In this case you can just take the electric cutter to the wall. Can't do that with a manual cutter.
Over 30,000 cuts
Compared the name brand unit ($1k+), I was hoping to make it a quarter way through my project. I’m now over 30,000 cuts on 3/8 rebar and still going strong. Running it basically nonstop for days. I should probably check oil, etc but it just keeps on kicking.
Cut time in half
Using on a job with a lot of rebar to be cut. The saw used prior took twice as long and more man power. This cuts like butter. Great value for the price. Was easy enough for one person to use and the cord placement did not seem to cause issues with the functionality of this.

Used it to cut twenty 20’ rods down to 5’ and worked great very quickly yes I probably could have done it faster with bolt cutters but I didn’t have to work up a sweat or hurt my back doing it. Worth every penny have much more to do so we will see how it holds up
DIY home builder
This rebar cutter is a work and back saver. It cuts #4 Grade 60 rebar with ease and little deformation. I tried cutting the rebar manually. I purchased a 42 inch HD bolt cutter from Harbor Freight, it was the biggest one they sell. With two men working the bolt cutter, it barely made a mark on the rebar. This rebar cutter quickly paid for itself eliminating trips to the Chiropractor and doctor. LOL! I'm cutting a lot of #4 rebar so I got the model a step up from the cutter rated for cutting #4 rebar. I recommend buying the rebar cutter at least one step up from the rating of the size of rebar you plan on cutting. I almost wish I purchased the biggest rebar cutter but this one is doing a fantastic job so far. Be advised that the operator manual is not written very well.

Amazing tool.
We cut a lot of rebar and have cut it with grinders and such in the past. It would take a full day for a guy per job just cutting rebar. Now it takes about 20 minutes to cut what we need. We got a larger size and can cut two #4 rebar at once. Amazing tool. Thanks.

Works great but is heavy
This works great...way better than our manual hand-held cutter, but it is rather on the heavy side. We've placed it on top of a cart for easier transport. We use to cut 25m steel wire coils in a manufacturing company. I would buy again if needed a second one.
Adjust the cutter edge bolt per direction.
I received the Happybuy 16 900 watt cutter today and couldn’t wait to try it. It comes with a metal carrying case and handle. Everything was in great condition. I read the directions and adjusted the cutter bolt for a #5 bar. It cut the bar like butter. No effort at all and quick. There were no burrs or razor sharp edges. Better tool than I expected. The quality is very good. This rating is for only one cut but I suspect this tool will last for years using in light and occasional jobs.- I have used this tool to cut rebar for a couple months now. My opinion above has not changed. Great tool and showing no signs of wear.

Works awesome. Attached it to a bench and cuts like it should. Way better than a chop saw. Less mess no burs.

Right out of the box, the cutter worked fine. I immediately cut about 8 pieces of 5/8" rebar and the machine cut it like butter. We have a big job coming up so we will see how it holds up.
