This rack is absolutely fine, there are many types with different depths. For us this was perfect with its 58cm depth. If you want an open rack like we did to get good access, we recommend this reasonable rack. We are going to build it on our channel: Recommended!

I use this for my 2 eco-worthy batteries for my solar setup. Easy to assemble, holds the two batteries which are insanely heavy with no problem, and rolls well. Plenty of rack nuts and screws, they align well, so I would say go for it if you need a small rack set-up.

This is a very sturdy and well-built open frame network rack, especially for the price. The steel frame feels solid once assembled and easily holds networking and AV equipment without any flex or wobble. Assembly was straightforward. There are a lot of screws, but the instruction manual is clear and well laid out, so it’s more time-consuming than difficult. Everything fitted together as expected and all necessary mounting hardware was included. I chose the non-wheeled version, so I can’t comment on the caster option, but for wall-mounted or static floor use this is ideal. The top plate in particular is very strong and feels capable of supporting significant weight — I’ve comfortably placed a large monitor on it without any concerns. The only criticism I have is with the included shelves. Although two shelves are provided, they are half-depth and only supported at the front. Even with relatively light loads (around 1–2 kg), they can feel insecure and prone to bending or vibration, especially if the device has fans or mechanical components such as HDDs. Nice home lab/small business rack.

This was a great buy. The rack was very easy to assemble and feels solid and well made. All of the parts fit together perfectly with no issues. For its size, it offers plenty of space and works great for a small home lab or a small business setup. The included shelves are a nice bonus and are perfect for lighter equipment. While they aren’t designed to support a lot of weight on their own, this wasn’t a problem for my use since I placed smaller, lightweight devices on them. If you plan to use heavier equipment, adding a bit of extra support would solve it easily. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely buy it again.

Sehr stabiles Rack! Der Aufbau hat bei mir ca. 2 Stunden gedauert, hauptsächlich wegen der extrem vielen Einzelteile. Man sollte definitiv einen Akkuschrauber parat haben – per Hand bekommt man die mitgelieferten Schrauben praktisch nicht hinein. Es gibt keine vorgebohrten Gewinde, die Schrauben schneiden sich ihr Gewinde selbst, was den Aufbau etwas anstrengend macht. Ist das Rack aber einmal montiert, steht es absolut stabil und macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck. Für den Preis wirklich überzeugend. Ich habe zusätzlich noch Filzgleiter unter die Füße geklebt, damit man das Rack beim Verschieben bewegen kann, ohne den Boden zu zerkratzen – klare Empfehlung.

Kind of a pain to setup but works great

This is a nice rack however the build quality is a little lacking. I needed to use an impact drill to setup because the screw holes weren't quite lined up. Once everything is together it seems sturdy. Its unfortunately a little short to run my r710 in but it is still a nice rack

Good value and very sturdy for the price. Assembly is straightforward, but expect a lot of screws and the included hardware isn’t amazing. A couple screws felt soft and I was careful not to strip them. Once everything is tightened down, it’s stable with no wobble, and the included shelves are handy for lighter gear. Great budget rack if you don’t mind a little DIY patience.

Review of 10U version. Good value overall. Package says two people needed to assemble, but for 10U version I managed by myself. You need a powerful electric screw driver as there are no threads so the screw cuts as it goes. Very odd choice of cage screws, they use a hex screw. Its okay, does the job and comes with a 2U and 1U shelf. The lid has four grommet holes for cables.

Das Server Rack ist für den Preis ein echter Schnapper. Das Rack ist stabl und hat genug Tiefe für einen Server (Dell R730), und sogar noch mehr. Der Aufbau ist einfach und schnell. Es werden genug Schrauben mitgeliefert. Der einzige Abzug ist, dass die Löcher für die Schienen ein wenig zu weit weg von der Kante sind und so die Rackschienen nicht im EasyClick System eingehängt werden können. Ein wenig Schleifpapier und ein bisschen Zeit, hilft aber, da nur die Lackierung im Weg ist.

Servor rack heaven

I use these for portable video woerk wnd training. Construction is stronger then twice other pices, whells are great use, doble sided standard rack mount opening is absolute heave. As well as sturdy beyond belief. LOVE THEM -now have 5. :) Tom

Gets the job done

So far I've mounted a heavy UPS on the bottom and some switches on the top and it's doing pretty well, setup wasn't too hard, I think it was a good value for what you get.

Starter rack with limitations

This is a great starter rack for a home/small office. The instructions are not that great, but with some common sense assembly comes quickly. We put a few servers and some switches in it and its holding up great. If you plan on stuffing it full of heavy UPSs or drive arrays you may want to look elsewhere as its not a strong as real enterprise racks. One UPS and SAN would probably be the limit of this.

The rack is well built and solid, I did not have any issues with building this as other comments stated. The only issue I had was the shelves provided I had to flip upside down as they were too narrow for any of my equipment.

15U, very happy wish that I would have gotten the 20U

First time trying a rack and I am very happy how it turned out. I love to tinker with electronics and was getting to the point that I had several desks covered in systems/parts. I purchased the 15U version and was able to get 6 computers and a DAS off my desks and placed on the rack. No issues with putting the rack together at all, just time consuming. Definitely get a drill, I used a dewalt 20V on torque setting 6 and I didn't strip any screws. The shelves can't really take alot of weight without bowing so I had to put my larger workstation on the top behind the monitor(Dell T30). I bought 2 extra full length shelves, only have 1 in the picture though. The wheels that come with the unit did not look like they would take the weight that I wanted to put in the rack so I bought new ones at my local farm store for a few bucks. Other reviews mention the max weight in the instructions differ from the stated one on the amazon page and mine said the same thing, I probably have 60 to 80lbs total loaded on the rack and it seems solid to me. The only thing I wish I would have done is bought the 20U or even a 24U if they make one, the unit is just a tad short for my barstool I use to sit comf…

Updated instructions?

Everyone is talking about how hard this was to put together and how bad the directions were but it was honestly fine. At one point I stopped reading the directions and just put it together its pretty obvious. It took about an hour in poor lighting with an offbrand ratcheting screwdriver while drinking beer. Probably would have been like 20 minutes with a drill tops but I needed something to do. If you use a drill I would make sure to limit the torque or you're going to strip it out and ruin it. The most tedious part is the little corner reinforcements. It's literally half the job. The holes are fine you are tapping your own threads they aren't wrong. If I had to change anything I would make the rack bolts black instead of silver. Also it comes with a billion extra screws and only 10 rack bolts. I would have rather had extra rack bolts. Also you can't really use the top piece unless you assemble it in it's smallest size MAYBE slightly larger. To be honest I don't think you should assemble it in anything but its smallest size. It DOES say its weight limit is 200 pounds not 500. I think maybe 500 might be for in it's smallest size and as you increase it its weight capacity decreases.…
